The Grey room is the deluxe Queen Suite and includes a private bath, fridge, MW and flat-screen TV. The bonus is the huge oriel window which looks north/east over Great Slave Lake so when the Aurora started I could stand in the window and watch...out of the cold at -21°! However, the best views are to go out onto the frozen lake! The bed is very comfortable and the host, Delilah, will prepare whatever you would like for breakfast. She will also prepare an evening meal (extra charge). I had a chicken dish that was delicious! Delilah knows the town well and can recommend restaurants etc.

If you are looking for a homey place with a gracious and all out host, this is the place to go to. My first time in Yellowknife was made memorable because of Delilah's hospitality. She was like your bestfriend making sure you have a fun time to remember. The northern lights can be viewed right from her property. You dont need to go on a tour which we unfortunately did but didnt get to see it at all after spending a $100 per person. Go to her place, save your money, well worth it!
