I was staying there around getting medical treatment, just diagnosed with cancer. I had stayed in the shared part before and not been impressed with all the rules, but the suites were very nice and I was told they all had individual heat control because I have been very cold in the first stay. I went there because I wanted...

This review is exaggerated and untruthful. Embleton House has achieved one "International Customer Service Award" and three local city "Customer Service Awards". Theses multiple awards were awarded to us due to our professional and outstanding customer service over the years and hospitality that we continue to provide. If you have any questions or concerns about this ladies accusations that she...

I found this B&B through the tourist bureau. It was immaculate and, typical for B&B's, decorated for the female client. I survived that. The hosts were pleasant and helpful when asked for help. The downstairs kitchen was well supplied. The trend seems to be for the hosts not to prepare a breakfast anymore. The host, Ken, and I had a...

While this is advertise as a B&B , our room/suite had a full kitchen and a SPA. Also a BBQ grill outside which we used. Each day the hospitable hosts supplied our refrigerator with necessary breakfast food for us to cook at our leisure. Or anything we purchased from their local grocery store. Highly recommended over any hotel/motel in Yellowknife....

Stayed here with my husband and we couldn't fault the service or rooms. Lovely and clean aswell as the breakfast being great with lots of choice! Host was so welcome and accommodating even getting quorn sausages when I explained I wasn't a meat eater, she couldn't have done more for us. I would definitely recommend staying here and would definitely...

Had a great trip to yellowknife and made that much better with some great hospitality and wonderful accommodations of the Sunrise Room! Faith was a great host and if this is your first trip to YK, I recommend a bed and breakfast over a hotel because you get some great recommendations from the host. At least that was our experience...

The B&B is run by a caring, friendly and helpful couple who dispense good advice on what to do and see in Yellowknife. You get very personalised service. Particularly good if you are not on the hurry and enjoy chats about life in this remote, unusual corner of the world. At the end of one's stay, one felt like having...

I stayed in Embleton House during Chistmas 2012. I believe Ken and Faith are the most hospitable hosts that I have met till date. The stay was very cosy. The rooms are good and neat. The bathrooms and the common areas are clean. You have decent freedom in the B&B. I had forgotten my Battery pack cable in the B&B,...

Embleton House is wonderful. My husband, two adult daughters and I stayed for 4 nights in 2 of the suites (the shared apartment was not available) during the Longjohn Jamboree festival. Faith and Ken are wonderful hosts, who made our family feel at home and made our Yellowknife visit a very fun experience. After Ken kindly drove us to the...

I stayed for three nights with my 3 teenage/20's children in the shared apartment downstairs. It was perfect from beginning to end. When arranging the stay, Faith was prompt and helpful in her e mail responses. On arrival we were greeted with warmth and hospitality that could not be matched. To Peter C I would say read the information provided...
