We recently had a great stay at Coopers Inn in Shelburne. The location was great, the hosts were very friendly and hospitable. The room (McLean) was very comfortable with a nice view of the gardens and harbour. All the little extras were very nice and we really appreciated them, including a social hour at 5pm to meet the hosts and other guests which also included a complimentary glass of wine or non alcoholic beverage. The breakfast was amazing with a great choice of different “mains” and sides, which you could mix and match. We highly recommend a stay at Coopers Inn and will definitely stay there again on another trip to the Shelburne area.

I've stayed at The Coopers Inn on previous occasions but not in the past few years. This 5-day stay was as good as I remember from the past. Pat and David are incredible, caring hosts who make you feel at home. Despite the challenges presented by Covid-19, Pat and David followed all the recommended protocols. And the breakfasts...a range of selections, perfectly prepared and presented. (If you like bacon, David is very generous with his servings). In addition, I really enjoyed the locally baked Ancient Grains bread.
The Gracie Room is very spacious, tastefully decorated and has all the typical amenities.

We enjoyed everything about our visit to the Cooper’s Inn in Shelburne, from the comfortable room with large, bright windows to the lovely garden. Our hosts, Pat and Dave, made us feel at home right away, offering a relaxing happy hour in the garden each day and spectacular breakfasts. Don’t miss the French toast or fish cakes. So good. We hope to return to this welcoming inn before too long - a delightful break in these covid times.

We had a lovely stay at the Cooper's Inn earlier this month. The location on the historic front street is perfect for seeing the area. The hosts were welcoming and helpful. The rooms were spacious, beautifully decorated, and the beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious with many options available. We had stayed at the inn several years ago and were happy to return and enjoy another pleasant experience. We will definitely return to the Cooper's Inn the next time we visit Shelburne.

I've stayed at The Cooper's Inn a number of times over the past couple of decades and have always enjoyed my stay. When I learned of new management, weeks after I had made my 7-day booking for end-July, I wondered if the quality and comfort would be affected with this change. However, I needn’t have worried. The new proprietor, Amanda, is simply an amazing, affable and energetic host! Her breakfasts were very good, with no skimping on the portions, and wine hour provided a great opportunity to meet the fellow guests. The Inn lived up to my expectations and more. Looking forward to a stay in 2023!

We had a delightful two days at Coopers Inn. The room was spotless and comfortable and the hosts were wonderful. They invited us to spend time on their patio before we headed out to dinner and surprised us with complimentary glasses of wine both nights. Even better was the conversation. We left feeling like we had made new friends. Shelburne has a lot to offer if you like history, architecture and a relaxing holiday.

Of all the summers, 2020 has been one of the most assuring and reassuring of our connection to community. So many wonderful Guests and new Friends have touched us. Communication, Caring, Creative Connection. We do believe that life beyond the ordinary can be best celebrated where history meets hospitality...at The Cooper's Inn. Thank you for sharing. We do look forward to next time.

Such a lovely spot! The Cooper’s Inn is in a picturesque location, and is a pretty, inviting, and comfortable inn. Amanda is kind, helpful and accommodating- giving us dinner recommendations and packing us yummy breakfast sandwiches to eat on our way to catch the early morning ferry. The rooms are neat and wonderfully decorated. We didn’t plan our trip well, and so had only an overnight to spend there. However, I’d be very happy to go back!

We recently spent two nights in the Harbour Suite (3 adults), which has a wonderful view, a fully equipped kitchen, a sitting area and very comfortable beds. We found the suite to be meticulously clean when we arrived. The host, Amanda, is very gracious, and welcomes guests in the lovely garden every day at 5 pm with a glass of wine. She serves a home cooked breakfast every morning, and it was delicious! We will definitely return!

Very favourable on all counts but one. Enjoyed our stay but for the description below.

Certainly one of the best if not the best breafasts we've enountered anywhere. Inn and its rooms are quaint and comfortable. Lovely sitting area in the garden, tough it rained during our visit to the area.

The only thing we would caution future visitors not entirely the innkeepers fault. We are light sleepers and the room above was annoyingly noisy. It seemed that the annex rooms were not soundproofed and the neighbour above was some sort of compulsive organizer who opened and closed drawers and moved suitcases until the wee hours. We could hear every movment and bedspring.
