Stayed in room 7 Classic suite Lovely ground floor room / ensuite bathroom Very clean and recently refurbished TV was on the side wall- unable to turn - so difficult to see from the bed/ chairs Breakfast was nicely presented and tasty Easy to walk into town without taking the car Pleasant staff

Dear traceybF5753LH for your lovely review. So happy you enjoyed your stay, in particular the recently renovated room in our Carriage House. Room 7 was completely renovated this winter, bringing it back to the original barn boards gave us the opportunity to reconfigure the layout to include an exposed beam in the ceiling, a spacious bathroom with a beautiful soaker tub, separate walk-in shower, and a larger sitting area. My husband and I had planned to celebrate our wedding anniversary at tattingstone inn. Unfortunately we had to cancel and rebook to the following week due to a funeral. I then tested positive for covid and contacted the inn 4 days before our new reservation, which was well before the 72 hours specified in their cancellation policy . It took several conversations with the staff and hospitality manager before they would finally honour their cancellation policy which is posted on their website and reservation confirmation email . I was very surprised at the negative tone of the conversation and the fact that I had to persuade them to respect their own policy. My husband and I are in our 50’s and have travelled extensively and never encountered this level of difficulty before.…

I have stayed at lots of Inns and B&B's and Tattingstone Inn is now one of my absolute favourites. I stayed for one night with my 16-year old for some special time away and it was wonderful. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and beautiful. The breakfast was delightful - and so many choices on the menu. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be back.

This Victorian style inn is great for couples. I doubt I’d stay here on business but I’d book every time for a romantic getaway. Room is very comfortable and a great size. We had a queen in the main inn. Has just about everything you’d need. Minor complaint is that there are not plugs for charging the iPhones, etc. Breakfast is included. You book your time when you check in. The locals rave about the brunch here, for good reason. All the staff we interacted with were great, very friendly. It is a short 5-15 walk to the downtown depending on where you’re going. Lots of parking available.

Great experience at this inn. They have a great reputation. Booked in for business. First class service. I was addressed by my first name by more than one staff. All requests were taken care of. Great room with Covid measures. Book without reservation.

Lovely property. Beautiful room, looked just as it did in the photographs. Excellent location, close proximity for walking to restaurants, bars etc. Enjoyed our breakfast, nice variety of items on the menu. Excellent hosts. Would highly recommend.

We recently stayed in the lovely Harwood Suite! It was well-appointed, nicely decorated and very clean. The towels and bathrobes had to have been the softest ever! The Inn is conveniently located a short walk from the restaurants and shops in town and we will stay here again when visiting Wolfville.

The room, dining room, grounds and food were all lovely but the people were dreadful, pompous, self-righteous, making us feel we were lucky they let us stay there. Silly nit-picky rules like don't touch the blackberry bush... don't put your car there (even though it was for a split second simply to pick up a family member)... don't bring someone from another room to your assigned breakfast time because it throws the cook off. Don't go there with your room garbage (which they did not collect). We would not dispose of the garbage in the wrong bin once we were close enough to read the sign. And on and on.

Marlene, we are glad to hear that the Inn itself was enjoyable for you, but I will say I am surprised about your comments regarding the staff. For the interest of all of the readers here I would like to point out a few discrepancies, to remain transparent with future Guests. Your family booked 4 out of our 14 rooms but felt they were entitled to free rein of the place, interrupting and affecting the other Guests staying with us. Empty beer cans and cigarette butts were strewn all over the property, foul language, family members who weren’t even staying at the property thought it was appropriate to disregard no parking signs and block fire lanes repeatedly including overnight. A complete disregard for others created an obnoxious, chaotic, and downright rude dining experience at breakfast, which left our other guests heading back to their rooms in a hurry. I, along with many others am curious, do you think it’s appropriate to go into someone's garden and pick fruit, without asking? Kindly asking that you not pick blackberries that we use for Breakfast is not an outrageous request. Neither were the other requests about the respectful use of our property. Your family was looking for a place to party and get rowdy, and I think we are both on the same page in saying that the Tattingstone is not the environment you are looking for. We want to offer ALL of our Guests a space of relaxation and tranquility, and your family robbed many of them of that opportunity.
