Spent one night here and loved it! Adele and Bob are amazing hosts! Chocolate cake when we arrived and a wonderful home cooked breakfast with Adele's delicious homemade breads and jams! The house is immaculate and the rooms are very comfortable. Couldn't ask for a better B&B!

Immaculate and very comfortable. Had everything I needed. Adele and Bob couldn't have been more helpful in telling me where to go and what to see. They meant it when they say GPS doesn't find them - so use a map!

This B & B is just outstanding. Has to be the best in Nova Scotia. The beds are so comfy you will find it hard to get up for breakfast. Ah yes, breakfast. What a feast - a choice of omelette (with or without a filling of cheese), blueberry pancakes with fresh blueberry sauce, maple syrup (genuine) and whipped cream,...

We only stayed here one night, and it was perfect! We would have liked to stay here longer, but had time constraints. When we arrived we very quickly settled in and took out the canoe for a wonderful paddle around Sandy Bottom Lake. Adele is just the warmest, friendliest person! She is busy all the time - keeping the house...

Located about 20 kilometers from downtown Annapolis Royal, the B&B's name is exemplified by the surround forests and lakes that makes home so TRANQUIL. Adele greeted us warmly and offered tea and chocolate cake. WOW. The rooms are very clean and spacious; the full breakfast consisting of waffles, home made jams, fresh fruit (Adele just picked cherries) were outstanding; and...

The very best B&B visited on a two week vacation in the Maritimes. Personable genuinely friendly hosts Adele and Bob, wonderfully appointed spacious room, lakeside setting, delicious beautifully presented breakfast and a friendly Labrador retriever. But for time restraints we would have stayed longer. Highly recommended...you won't be disappointed.

This B&B is located halfway between Annapolis Royal and Keji. It is down a country lane, but the route is well signed. Our hosts were welcoming and really lovely. As the B&B is a little drive from the nearest town, we took the suggestion of bringing dinner makings and using their kitchen. Everything was really clean, and nicely done. We...

This is a comfortable, pretty, spotless house, on a lake in a remote area. We were welcomed by Adele and Bob, and immediately put at ease. Adele was in the middle of making a chocolate cake, which we enjoyed that evening, while meeting their other guests. They have a friendly young yellow lab, that would curl up by my feet...

We travelled 14 days through NovaScotia + Cape Breton and Tranquil Times was one of the best places we stayed. Adele and Bob are such lovely hosts. We felt like being home! We had the lake view room and enjoyed 2 sunsets on our own deck or in the garden at the bonfire. The view over the lake is just...

No lessons in hospitality are required for Adele and Bob (hosts). They are over the lop. What a wonderful place they have. And the location, right on Sandy Bottom Lake, offered a beautiful setting for the evening with a bon-fire complete with marshmallows for all the guests. Lovely, clean bedrooms with comfortable beds!! A delicious homemade breakfast completed our marvellous...
