This place is under new ownership and the Brunch is basically the same except for a group it now comes on individual plates instead of shared platters. Price is the same and it is value for your money but some things have been scaled back such as the choice of cheeses and fruits. No creme brulee but a brownie. There is now a 18% gratuity for group of 6 and over. I, understand, most of this with the prices of everything increasing . The one thing I didn't understand was the fact that the food was not cold but lukewarm although tasty. Hopefully, things will pick up.

The co-owners/hosts of this beautiful B&B, John & Sonny have the biggest hearts and best food in Annapolis. We visited in March when many businesses of the area are either closed or have very limited hours. We were performing at the King’s Theatre and carrying out activities within the surrounding communities and John & Sonny made sure we were well-fed and cared for, including preparing special food trays for us to ensure we were able to have meals when everything else in town was closed. The food was absolutely delicious, the beds comfortable, the rooms clean and the art of conversation is not lost on these fine hosts. Breakfast is included in the room rate. We’ve yet to try their Sunday brunch but hopefully we’ll be able to tick that off our bucket list on our next visit! We’ve already booked a second visit. We highly recommend this Inn. If you like clean comfort and really delicious well-prepared food then this is the place!!!!

The complimentary breakfasts at the Garrison House Inn were the best we had during our trip around the Bay of Fundy. Our room was lovely and very comfortable and they even allowed our two dogs to be with us. We also had dinner there one night and the menu is extensive with very well prepared food and interesting sauces. John was very helpful in suggesting great day trips for us, even though we visited when many typical spots were not yet open.

Have been to eat at the Garrison House Inn a couple of times, excellent each time. This last visit was a birthday celebration, Sonya’s culinary abilities were much appreciated for our dietary needs plus she opened up on her morning off just for us, wow!! We’ll be back.

Brunch was absolutely the best ever here. Food was fantastic and plenty of it. The idea of platters is wonderful and we all enjoyed this method of serving. Service was over and above. You feel so welcome even though the place was full. Mimosas were lovely. You were not rushed as you can feel in some places when they are busy. Eggs Benedict were perfect and everybody loved their omelettes and seafood crepes. If you leave this brunch hungry, something is wrong. Will go back many times. Great place to take your guests and moderately priced.

Checked in by young woman who disappeared after checking. Room was very small and shabby. Internet was not working. No one onsite to answer questions or resolve internet issue. Worker came back about 8:30 pm and said that she couldn’t reach owner either. Rebooted router, but internet still did not work, so I could get no work done. Told that owner was at another place he owned where there was no cell service. The lock on my door did not work either. No one to notify about this. The next morning I got my breakfast and said to the wait staff that I had to cancel staying a second night as I still had no internet and could not work. She stiffly told me that they had a 48 hour cancellation policy. I left a note for the still-absent owner requesting a refund and left. Never heard anything back. With all of the quality inns ini Annapolis Royal, make this one your last choice.

My husband and I made a reservation for our wedding anniversary dinner on March 14th. Sonya called that afternoon to tell us her propane range had stopped working and she was going to need to reschedule our dinner. After she learned that we were from out of town and staying at a local B&B for our anniversary getaway, she decided that she could get by with an electric range and wanted to make our anniversary dinner very special. Well she certainly did!! The food was amazing! She stayed open just for us and really made us feel special. Thank you so much Sonya!! We will definitely be back!

We stayed one night while in town to see a play at Kings Theatre. The room was nice and clean, the bed was comfy. The AC unit was loud but I'm sensitve to that. We were pleasantly surprised that the stay included a hot breakfast. It is conviently located to walk Annapolis Royal and enjoy the day and night scenes.

We have stopped at The Garrison House Inn before, but this was the first time with it's new owners.. There is a warm friendly welcome when you arrive. The rooms are beautiful, old world style, plenty of room to relax and most of all clean.. We dined in that night in their restaurant and the food was excellent.. Located opposite Fort Anne, you have no need to use your car as every where is within walking distance.. The room we had over looked Fort Anne.. You have a good choice for breakfast, i had eggs benedict (gorgeous).. We highly recommend you to stay here.. We are looking forward to our next visit.. May we also wish them all the best for the future

John is a very gracious host and Sunny is a wonderful, accommodating chef!
The beds are comfy, the rooms clean. I have special needs diet and received a fabulous breakfast in spite of this!
