The Annapolis Royal Inn is a "Boutique Motel" offering 30 air conditioned rooms, all with triple sheet bedding. We are situated on over 15 acres of landscaped grounds fronting 400 year old Acadian dyke lands. We are 1.4 km from both the National Historic Fort Anne and the Historic Gardens both of which are in the Beautiful Town of Annapolis Royal a mere 2 minutes drive or 20 minutes walking according to Google Map. But if you choose to walk keep in mind this is along a country road without sidewalks and due care has to be taken. From 7 to 11 am we offer a self serve breakfast that includes depending the time of year a wide selection of items including fresh waffles and hot local made sausages. Our heated in ground salt water pool is open from late June to Mid September.

This place isn't worth the price. The room was dated and shabby, dark, minimal decor. There were no lamps in the room whatsoever, just an overhead light. Never heard of a motel, hotel, or inn room that didn't have a lamp, not even one by the side of the bed. The bed was comfortable. The backyard was nice, and the window opened a bit to let in the breeze. The continental breakfast was okay -- boiled egg, toast, juice, coffee, fruit, cereal, etc. -- in the breakfast room that featured local original art for sale. If I were to stay in Annapolis Royal again (which is a lovely, historic place), I'd opt for one of the mansion B&Bs which are within walking distance of town and aren't priced that much higher than this place.

from the outside it didn't look like much. we almost turned around- but i'm glad we didn't. the common rooms inside were great. rooms were big, comfortable and clean. bathroom and kitchenette were well appointed. the location was perfect. snack machines and laundry machines. we were surprised at how nice this place actually was.

10/10 Exceptional 16 Oct 2022 Very Pleasant 2-Night Stay! Check in was smooth and quick. Superior room with 2 beds (#27) was very clean. 4 pillows each bed and beds were comfortable. Heating system worked very well, (Oct stay). Lots of hot water and lots of pressure for shower. Liked the hardwood floors, instead of carpet. Continental breakfast was fabulous, perhaps the best I ever had. Well supplied with fresh baked scones, English muffins, waffles, eggs, cheese, yogurt, good fresh coffee. Pat, out Irish host was excellent.

Although I was only there for a short time, I enjoyed my stay. The room was very clean and well furnished. The bed and pillows were soft and very comfortable. Staff were very nice and handled things very quickly. Breakfast included a large selection of items and lots of coffee. I was impressed and would recommend a stay here.

Room was dusty and pillows and bed should have been changed 20 years ago. Pillows and bed had dust right into them and the pillows were scrunched into a half size as they are so worn out. Threw out the baggie they gave us for breakfast as not even worth trying to eat a small piece of chees a boiled egg age unknown and a juice and breakfast bar. We will never stay there again as it is so poorly maintained and the breakfast not fit to fed a dog.

Stayed one evening august 31. Very disappointed! Room is very dated but relatively clean!! Paid an expensive $145+ tax for rooms other booking sites listed for $117. I asked receptionist if would they extend that offer to us snd we’re told “I don’t know anything about that stuff”! Advertised breakfast is simply not true!! was offered as breakfast a small brown bag containing a juice box and a granola bar!!!! They said it was because of Covid regulations, but restrictions have been lifted for weeks! Out of 30 rooms perhaps 5 had guests!!!!’ It appears the hotel is tired and their business model is even more tired! NOT recommended!!! Will stay at one of the lovely BnBs in Annapolis Royal next time

Great little motel if you don't need anything too fancy. We stayed in a basic room with two double beds. Everything was very clean and check in was quick and friendly. Two minute drive to the main town of Annapolis Royal. They didn't have a continental breakfast because of COVID-19 but they did give you breakfast bags.

We stayed here for a night, it was very clean, everything was there that you needed. I would definitely stay here again. We stayed in the deluxe queen room. This was during covid 19 and I felt safe here.

Friendly, helpful staff! The room was tastefully decorated, modern, immaculate and well supplied. The grounds are nicely landscaped with places to relax and the huge lawn backs onto a natural area which was delightful for my dogs. The staff made a stressful time in my life actually enjoyable! If you are visiting the area, the inn is near enough to the beautiful historic Annapolis Royal that you can walk. I will definitely stay there again!
