We greatly enjoyed our stay...the weather was perfect...owners very friendly n accommodating....the cabin we stayed in was one of the best. It was accessible with large washroom n shower that would accommodate a chair. The wildlife was a perk. Bunnies galore. 🐰

We stayed here for two nights after a terrible start to our staycation at another campground. After much research, we found this place and moved here. We stayed in the RV rental which was absolutely perfect. Very spacious and attached covered deck with a big BBQ was awesome. Our 6 year old granddaughter stayed with us our first night. We all had an amazing time feeding the domesticated rabbits that run freely throughout the campground, fed the goats that are in their pen ( there is a dispensary for food for the goats outside their pen that costs a quarter and there's even a hand sanitizer to clean your hands after feeding the animals. We thoroughly enjoyed their lovely pool. We had it all to ourselves as because of covid, you need to reserve the pool for your group of up to 10 for 45 minutes at a time. We ended our stay with a small campfire on our lot. It was a perfect two days celebrating our 35th anniversary. WIFI throughout the campground is awesome, great cell phone reception as well. The owners are fantastic and go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need and you are enjoying your stay with them. they are also bilingual which was very nice. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. They have one RV rental which is a park model, 36 feet, very roomy with a bunkhouse at one end and a master suite at the other end, fully equipped with everything you need, plus they have 7 beautiful two bedroom cottages. Awesome place for couples or families. Thank you.

This property is without doubt a must stay when visiting South Western Nova Scotia. The cottages are beautiful inside stocked with everything you can think of. From pots and pan to dishes and silverware; from wine glasses to coffee mugs, nothing has been forgotten. We wanted a mini vacation in the off season....no problem, Upper Clements Cottages are open year round we discovered. Such fun on a crisp day watching the bunnies play in the snow while we barbecued in the coolness and enjoyed our meal in the warmth of the cottage. We highly recommend this property; there is no way anyone could be disappointed!

We came in 2019 and left enough of an impression that we had to come back on our next trip to Nova Scotia. The cabns are great size, and well equipped so you can cook your own meals. The owners are very responsive and helpful. The bunnies and goats are always a delight. The pool was a favourite hang out spot to spend a relaxing day in the pool.

I cannot say enough good things about this place and they do not misrepresent themselves in any way on their website. They are quick with responses to queries and requests. We mostly dealt with the smiling Nathalie who was very pleasant and bent over backwards to ensure we had everything we needed. The well-stocked cottage was clean, clean, clean and larger than we expected; the grounds are maintained immaculately. We were totally impressed with the fire pits which are large and deep and very well contained for safety. Children of all ages will enjoy visiting and feeding the friendly goats in their pen, and the dozens of bunnies that scamper around the grounds gave us many smiles and chuckles. If you are someone who doesn't believe a review unless there's something 'negative' in it to balance out the good then the best I can do for you is to say that the beds are firm. But if you like a firm bed, then I'm sorry, but that's all I've got! We very much hope to go back again some day.

Owners Nathalie and Martin have great pride of owership. They care for the property and the guest experience equally. Our stay was wonderful. The playground, bunnies and pool were a hit with our daughter, while the cleaniness, clear communication and relaxing atmosphere were just what the adults needed for both a holiday and working trip. Seeing we had set up our own makeshift computer station for work, they brought in an extra table for us and did whatever they could to help all aspects of trip be as smooth and easy as possible.

The owners are very friendly and are always available if you need anything to help make your stay more pleasant. The cottage was very clean and very nice. The kids loved seeing the bunnies that run around and the goats they have on the property. Overall, a great stay and we would return again for a quiet family getaway.

The cottage was very nice. Everything was clean. The owner checked in by text to make sure that everything wasbok for us. The kitchen had most of the basics, other kitchen items were available at the office. The mattress was a bit firm, but we both slept well. I would stay there again.

We’ve stayed Upper Clements cottages numerous times and we love to keep going back. I work in a small options home where I support adults with disabilities so we always book the accessible cottage. A few years ago we made suggestions on ways to improve this cottage and the owner followed through and the improvements were great! She’s very attentive to everyone’s needs and follows through on feedback. She’s also very friendly and personable.
The biggest hit for everyone is always the bunnies! They’re everywhere and so adorable! There’s days we would sit outside and Just watch the bunnies by day and then unwind by the campfire at night.
Every time I stay at these cottages they are always immaculately cleaned. This was always important, especially during a pandemic.
I’ve stayed here several times for work as well as with my family and I can guarantee, we will be back!

As the title says we just cant have enough of this place ever! I have been coming back to the cottages each year for past 4 years I guess and the experience keeps better and better every time. The Hosts Martin & Nathalie work tirelessly round the clock to make this place even better and our vacations even more worthwhile. Its full of landscapes, bunnies to play with and the river flowing by the side. I can spend my mornings gazing at the sky and nights around the firepit. My little one is so fond of this place in particular that she wants to spend all her birthdays staying at this cottage.

Our cottages are $185/night on a weekday night and $205/night for Fridays and Saturdays. These rates are for up to 4 people including children and don't include HST.
We are not affiliated with the Amusement Park but we are one of their partners, allowing us to sell FUN Passes here on site for $28/pass + HST. You then save $4/pass! The FUN Passes are for people 42 inches and over.
