Check-in was fast and easy. Great room. Spacious and very clean. Nice breakfast, not fancy but did the job. The owner is a very very nice man who was there any time you needed anything. Right off the highway but was still very quiet. The one thing I noticed is they have safety bars in the bathroom. Something all motels and hotels should have. We would recommend this motel to anyone.

Stayed two nights in a motel room en route to Cape Breton. Check in was swift, the owner/manager being friendly and helpful. The motel room was clean and surprisingly quiet bearing in mind that the main TransCanada road is pretty close. The WiFi worked well and there is a basic continental breakfast available which was fine for our needs. It's an easy drive to Antigonish with its restaurants and shops so all in all we were pleased with our choice.

We have stayed at a number of places while enjoying hiking through out the Anza Borrego area. The Oasis Inn is by far our favorite place. It is a classic small desert motel. Very clean, nice pool area and outdoor eating area. Our room had a refrigerator, microwave and nice table and chair set for two. The motel is located conveniently to both the Anza Borrego State Park and downtown. And as an added bonus the prices are the most reasonable we have paid in Borrego. We will be making reservations to stay here again on our next visit.

Came to Antigonish for Special Olympics National games, booked almost a year ago. We knew going in that it was 2-3 star motel (they are currently saying 3.5). It was the only place available when we booked but reviews stated it was clean. When we arrived it was very hot and we were happy that the A/C worked, the room was clean and Tv and Wi-Fi worked. The next day we went to watch our son and returned later in the day to find our room had not been cleaned. We chalked it up to the fact we had slept in and had not left the room until nearly 11am. The next day, the beds were made and garbage was emptied but we later noticed the bathroom had not been cleaned or at least not well. Day 3, room was not done again. My wife went to complain and manager assured her it would be taken care of. Day 4, room was not done again except the garbage was emptied and towels were refreshed (toilet still not done) I went to complain and suggested that we get a day or two refunded . The manager/owner was visibly angry and took a bunch of cash out of the register and threw it at me. I assumed he was mad at staff. Later he came to the room to see what needed to be done, we told him that we were leaving the next day so no point, he slammed the door closed. To his credit he came back later and apologized for “losing his mind “ and wanted to know how to make it right, at that point we were less than 15 hours from checking out so we told him nothing could be done. Maybe hire better staff?? Won’t go back!!

These accommodations were clean and well-kept. Tehy are conveniently located withing minutes of the heart of Antigonish and a major shopping centre. The quirky 1950's architecture was interesting. I stayed at the Oasis during a heatwave (29 C + high humidity) and unfortunately the cooler wasn't really up to the job. Despite of having booked weeks ahead, the temperature in the room upon arrival was above 30 C. By 10 pm the room was becoming comfortable. Also the Internet connection was abysmally slow. The hotel management was contacted and despite their best efforts, the wireless Internet was practically useless. Check-in was quick and the parking was conveniently in front of the door of my room. The bed was quite comfortable.

We were very tired due to a poor sleep on the previous night. The owner Al welcomed us to check in way ahead of standard check in. This is a lovely “oldstyle” motel which has been extremely well updated, yet maintaining the fun and practicality of the retro MotorInn experience which we love.

This motel quickly became our go to spot when passing through Antigonish. I have stayed here several times now. The staff are friendly. The rooms are very clean and cozy. I always have an amazing sleep in the comfy beds. Excellent water pressure in the renovated shower and the simple breakfast is a nice touch before checking out. Love staying here.

This was my second time staying here Just passing through on our way to halifax. It is very clean with a super comfy bed. There is a fridge microwave and coffee maker. The young lady that checked us in was very sweet. No this motel is not super fancy but it is very clean and charming. And for the price you really can't go wrong.
