We have stayed at 3 of the 4 cottages offered, and they are all beautiful. The design, the Comfort, the VIEW! No hydro, but they have generators that start at the push of a button, bring a deck of cards and your binoculars because you never know what you will see on St. Mary's

Maybe next time you can stay in cottage #4. I must agree with the VIEW. It is spectacular from sun up to sun down and the night sky is totally unbelievable. Oh the stars! Who knew. A couple of years ago we even had 2 humpbacks in Saint Mary's Bay. Very unusual though. Seals and porpoise are much more common in Saint Mary's Bay.

The cottage is nicely built, and quite roomy ... but be prepared for a long rough road into each unit. The website could offer more information about the ‘pioneer’ aspect. The only electric power is via a noisy generator ... it would helpful to have known in advance that you

We are happy you found the cottage comfortable and enjoyed the splendid views. The 3km. gravel road into the cottages is always a wonder to drive. You just never know if or what kind of small forest dweller you will see. You may even see a deer wonder off the road. I am not sure what happened to the candles in the cottage you stayed in. There is usually a supply of candles and tea lites in each cottage for our guests convenience. Sorry that you found our road rough. Dave is often complemented on how well maintained it is.

My husband and I stayed at the Graham's Pioneer Retreat in the Felicity cottage for two nights with our three year old granddaughter, her parents and our other grown daughter. Unfortunately the weather on the Saturday was heavy rain, but it was so nice and cozy in our cottage.

We have tried to put every thing a person needs and a few extras in each cottage. Yes, it is a great place to sit back and relax. It is also nice to reconnect with family and loved ones. To do things together once again.
