A beautiful, warm, welcoming Bed and Breakfast on the waterfront. This is our second visit and won't be our last. Angela and Alison made us feel so welcome. The room was beautiful and very comfortable with a lovely view across the harbour to the fishing fleet. Once again we enjoyed a nourishing breakfast. Is within walking distance to great restaurants and to the wharf to see the large fishing fleet.
I stay at Bayside Inn every time I visit Digby and I cannot say enough good things about the owner, the staff and the Inn itself! Everyone is very friendly (Digby was just voted the 2nd most friendly place in Canada eh!) and the rooms are clean and super comfy. The Inn has so much history and charm, it’s impossible the be disappointed :)
Angela is the perfect hostess at this wonderful sea side hotel. It is spotlessly clean and very comfortable. She provides a delicious hot breakfast, with a variety of homemade breads and muffins, fruits and cereals. This historic inn is a minutes walk from the downtown restaurants and commands a lovely view of the Annapolis Basin and fisherman's wharf. Lovely!
My wife and I have stayed here numerous times and absolutely love it there. Beds are super comfortable, big antique claw foot tub. Angela serves a wonderful breakfast and great coffee. If you are looking for a great place to sleep, get away from hotels send enjoy the atmosphere of a quint 100+ year old Inn.
I recently spend 5 nights in Digby and found Bayside Inn to be clean, well appointed and with a wonderful view of the bay in both stormy and calm winter conditions! A lovely walk to restaurants and shops. Many lovely hikes nearby including Digby Neck and Bear River. Angela was very accommodating regarding food restrictions and informative about local explores!
