The people and the views make this place. Our room had a balcony and large windows overlooking Digby Harbour, which was fantastic. The room was simply furnished but spacious and comfortable with all you need. The mom and son team who own the place were warm and welcoming, and served a homemade breakfast each morning in a traditional family dining room. All very good value. Would certainly stay here again.

We stayed at this lovely Victorian B&B for 2 nights while on an 11 day vacation with n NS, New Brunswick, and PEI. Room and bathroom were comfortable and it was very quiet . The hosts were wonderfully attentive; we had a delicious and different breakfast the 2 mornings we were there which included homemade crepes the first morning and Eggs Benedict the second morning, both accompanied by fresh fruit ,toast of choice, and a breakfast meat . Would highly recommend if you are in Nova Scotia area.

We had a first floor room in the motel-sh building. It was heavenly. Clean and nicely appointed. Lots of light. Comfortable bed. And simply incomparable views! Perfect location for sunrises across the Annapolis Bay. The location is great. Definitely walking distance to the heart of Digby. And the breakfast! OMG! Perfectly cooked poached eggs, bacon, fruit, potatoes, toast, and coffee. I could have eaten those eggs all day. The hollandaise sauce on them was even better. My only regret was not staying longer!

This was my favorite place to stay on our recent vacation in Nova Scotia. They have a total of 10 rooms, for upstairs in the house and six on the waterfront, and what is essentially a revamped Motel. There are three room upstairs and three downstairs. As I have mobility issues, we selected the Captain's Quarters, on the ground floor. The room was lovely and nicely decorated, providing everything we needed. Parking is directly outside the waterfront rooms. There are Adirondack chairs on the lawn facing the water. Sadly, the weather included some pop-up showers during our stay, but the view was still worthy of photos. The owners are very hospitable, providing excellent recommendations for dinner. In the morning, we were treated to breakfast which included crepes, bacon and fresh fruit in the dining room. It was wonderful being served on quality vintage dishes. You are best to reserve directly; you'll get a choice of rooms. Be aware the house is not wheelchair accessible. There are several steps to access the check-in area and have breakfast.

Unfortunately, we were unable to stay at this b&b on our recent trip due to road closures in the area keeping us from getting there. When we called to let them know we couldn’t make it, they were incredibly rude throughout the call, and completely unaccommodating during a state of emergency in the province.

Located on the shore of the Annapolis Basin, and within walking distance of good restaurants in downtown Digby.. Great clean and tastefully decorated rooms, comfortable beds, comfortable bedding, good bathroom, plus chairs outside with a view of the bay and Digby harbour. Homemade frittata and hashbrowns, crisp bacon, toast and fresh fruit for breakfast. All freshly prepared. Coffee, tea and juice. This place is a real treasure.

What a lovely B&B. Beautiful historic home, lovely amenities and the surroundings were so enjoyable. The breakfast in the mornings in the main house was perfect. The owners were sweet and helpful. We had a 2 bed queen room in the back of the main house and it was fabulous. We would definitely stay again should our travels bring us back this way.

What a wonderful place to stay…and yes we did come from away. Had a wonderful room on the water. Room was very comfortable, clean and hubby said he had the best night sleep of our trip. After supper we sat on the from lawn enjoying a glass of wine. The views were amazing! Next came breakfast…nothing short of delicious..heard from other town residents that Joe is a very good cook! Well I must say I agree! Thanks for a wonderful stay…even Kermit gets a big thumbs up 👍..

An absolute hidden gem! Hosts are very welcoming, and if you’re lucky you get to meet Kermit (golden retriever puppy) and his cat friends! Sit out on the Muskoka chairs by the basin and let the moonlight relax you before heading back to your room for an absolute comfortable sleep on a mattress that makes you believe you are on cloud nine. You awaken to an aroma of a delicious breakfast which will be served as soon as you come down, followed by a conversation with other guests and your host. I can’t say enough positives about this place! Till we meet again! Katie & Mike
