While the room had recently been renovated, there were two things that were disappointing. First, their showers are not pressure balanced, so I got a very stimulating shot of cold water when someone in another room flushed the toilet. The other was the mattress which needs to be replaced. There were sags on both sides where people sit on the edge of the bed, and there was another almost right underneath my pillow. We had a king sized bed, but the box spring was only a queen. Location is great, and staff were very friendly.

Hi, thank you very much for leaving us with a feedback. We're very sorry you were not happy with your stay! We do actually have a pressure balanced system in place and it normally works well for many rooms being used at the same time. We will be watching and will look into the issue to see how to improve its performance - Thank you very much for letting us know! The issue of the mattress came as a surprise to us, since the king sized bedroom just came into service last year, and both the mattress and box spring were bought brand new then from a long-time supplier. Now that we have inspected this, the box spring is king sized, but the mattress is somewhat oversized and hangs over the box spring for 1-2 inches. It is also a super soft mattress, maybe that's why it gave you the saggy feeling. We really apologize for the inconvenience this has caused you! Thank you very much again for taking time to review to help us improve ourselves! All the best to you! Jean

While visiting Digby last week we stayed at Coastal Inn Digby and the stay was okay. The only rooms they had were smoking rooms, so because of the lateness of the day, we booked two rooms. I'm sure if we had been able to get non-smoking rooms, our stay would had been more pleasant. The continental breakfast was fine, the dining room was very clean, and the employees were very friendly.

This is a wonderful place to stay! You can park right in front of the room so it's convenient and accessible. It's very close to everything. We found it very clean and comfortable. We sat outside in colourful chairs to catch some warm rays in the evening. Even though it's just off the highway it's not noisy at all. The pillows were great, so soft! So many places we stay have flat or lumpy ones. There is a Chinese restaurant attached to the office which is a great change from seafood. Yummy! You can tell the owner takes great pride in taking care of the motel and property. There are window boxes outside all the rooms with begonias blooming, adding a lovely pop of colour. When we travel this route again, we will definitely be choosing this place to stay.
