Once again, we were able to enjoy the space and view from the patio suite. Bob welcomed us and assured that everything was perfectly set up for us. At breakfast, we enjoyed his excellent culinary skills. After scones, fruits and other treats, the specialty was Eggs Mornay. Maria's lemon curd was delicious. This B&B is minutes from the ferry.

My wife and I had a restful 3-night stay in the Patio Suite. Its main living area has the homey feel of your favourite aunt’s family room; the cosy and romantic bedroom features a four-poster bed, hand-made quilt, and ornate curtains; the spacious bathroom boasts separate shower stall and whirlpool bathtub. Said tub is spacious for a party of one,... More

The Ocean Hillside B and B is very conveniently located right near the ferry from St. John NB. We stayed in the Blue Room and our friends stayed in the Maroon Room. The Blue room bathroom was a bit challenging as it had a sloped ceiling and no stand up shower. Luckily, the Maroon Room had a better shower and... More

We arrived on the ferry from St. John for a two day stay. Our room upstairs was very nice with 2 love seats in the sitting area and a queen size bead. The only thing about being upstairs is the shower head is very low. I'm only 5' 10" and had a little trouble washing my hair. If you are... More

Very disappointed to not stay with them as when I put the itinerary together for our trip they did not(and do not unless specifically asked, which I don't recall being told at any time during our conversation) email/mail ANY sort of confirmation and therefore I didn't have any record of the reservation when I put the itinerary together a couple... We spent a night last year in June at Bob's and we're still thinking about that great place! First, we we're running late coming from Halifax and Bob assured us he'd be up late and we shouldn't worry. We were greeted by our two lovely hosts and chatted about his time in Europe and he asked about our needs for... More

The patio suite has a lovely terrace with comfortable furnishings and access to Wifi as you admire the view of the bay. Easy drive to restaurants in town and ferry. Very comfortable, quiet suite. Bob served a delicious breakfast of orange juice, fresh fruits, hot scones with home made preserves and eggs mornay.

Although the room we booked did not have a waterview, it did have a lovely view of the back gardens. Bob is an excellent cook, who entertained us with tales of places he's been and folks he's cooked for. Our room was small, but met our needs for the single night we stayed there. The shower in the bathroom is... More

Bob was so friendly and welcoming, we had no idea what to expect when we arrived. We stayed here with my parents (separate rooms). The breakfast was really amazing and especially the scones with lemon curd. The rooms are clean and nicely appointed. No complaints.

We stayed here for one night, before catching the morning ferry to Saint John. Nice accommodations, including the grounds, and extremely convenient to the ferry. The blue room was spacious and clean with a king sized bed and plenty of sitting area. The en suite bathroom contained bathtub with hand held shower that we sat to use (no shower curtain).... More

“The ground floor room has a sleeping area, a large living area, a jacuzzi tub in the bathroom, and its own exterior door that opens onto a patio with a view of the bay where we ate dinner one evening. This room is well worth the small premium you pay in this modestly priced B&B.”
