Is there anything to do with a 6 yr old in this area? Don't think our daughter would be up for a 2+ hr whale watch in choppy water with potentially bad weather. And I've heard that the beaches are too cold even in the summer.

Thanks Rebecca. We are coming to NS on the cat & will be traveling around quite a bit so there won't be any room for a bike. But a playground sounds nice thanks.
