Stayed 1 night, 2nd floor with a gorgeous view of the water. Minutes from the ferry. Very nice place. Charming old building with many quant characteristics. Such as a bit of tight squeeze in the bathroom. But fresh and clean. Clean, crisp linens, lots of towels, very comfortable bed. Don't miss out on the breakfast in the morning. Delicious breakfast in restaurant overlooking the water...or likely fog. Lots of fog in the early morning. It adds to the charm!! Very friendly and courteous (and hard working staff). Thank you!!

Last day of vacation. What a view!! Close to ferry too. Comfortable beds, clean room. Close to restaurants and the town. Parking right outside of room. Didn’t try breakfast as we brought our own. Menu looked good. Took amazing photos of sunset

Nice area. Seemed like a nice motel. Noisy from people beside & above. Very hard beds. I had to sleep on pillows. I could hear the neighbours talk coming through the AC. Very loudly. Our ceiling was squeaky from the person above. There wasn’t many people there. But they clustered everyone together. Bed was the worse. Try to stay away from others rooms. Check bed.

For proximity to the ferry, this older, well-maintained, well-priced hotel is a good choice. The room was immaculate and quiet, though a lack of outlets to plug in chargers was a disappointment. The views is great. The front-desk was friendly and accommodating. The bed was comfy but the teeny bathroom requires some challenging flexibility to move around once the door is closed. Breakfast is available for an extra charge but any other meal requires a drive back to Digby. Not a big deal but something to note.

I had to cancel a room because the room I booked which was the queen and a double bed with a balcony is not pet friendly. I also had to cancel my 2 bedroom cottage because it is not pet friendly. I am so disappointed.

This is an older hotel that has been completely refurbished. It is easy to tell the owners care. It was spotless spacious and very comfortable. I really like how they have remodelled the bathroom and shower. There was a fridge in the room and they offered to bring a microwave. The view of the basin from this hilltop motel is very beautiful and tranquil. There are no newer motels in Digby but this is an older one you wont be disappointed with. There is an on site restaurant, but was not open the day we were there. We ate there about six years ago and it was very good. I would highly recommend this property.

It is a nice cozy hotel I loved the customer service it was great ! I loved that they have postcards stamps and a lil canada post box which I used to send a cute postcard back to toronto. Room had a great view and the sunrise was very relaxing. It was close to ferry which comes and goes to Saint John which was convenient for us as we took ferry to New Brunswick.

We were there for three nights through Digby Scallop Festival. Very comfortable and clean although an older property. Handy to have a laundry on site for we who travel. The dining room was only open for breakfast at this time but the food and service were excellent.

We loved the fact the Bay of Funny was right outside our door, great view! Our room was very spacious, clean and had everything you would need, except a microwave (or at least not in our room). The location was great for it's just a short drive from downtown Digby and the waterfront boardwalk. I'm not giving a five star rating for two reasons, we felt the mattress on both beds need to be replaced, they were not very comfortable and we did not enjoy the breakfast at the hotels restaurant. Previous review mentioned how the decor needed to be upgraded, they were correct, the decor is outdated, but again, I am sure because of covd business this past year or so must have been difficult for the hotel industry.

Stayed here with my family of 4 and we bought the whale tour package with Brier Island Whale Tour. I can not say enough about this hidden gem. The staff are so very friendly! Front desk top notch! The server was outstanding and the food perfection! Whale watching we saw 5 whales at once everything was organized for us by the staff at Admiral Digby! We give you 5 stars! Thank you so much!
