The best the town of Digby has to offer. Staff is friendly and the restaurant has something for everyone. We ate dinner and breakfast in the morning. Both were awesome. Scallops and sushi for dinner and captains breakfast and omelette too

We had a wonderful suite overlooking the harbor. Stunning views. Very clean room with comfortable bed and large bathroom. Not sure why there is an electric fireplace on the wall in the bathroom. The deck off the room was a real plus.

My wife and I spent a week in Suite D. It’s like a classy one BR apartment on two floors. A large attractive bedroom is on the top floor with a great view of the fishing docks and the Annapolis Basin. Downstairs is a living room, full kitchen, dining area, and balcony. The suite was finely furnished, and the cleaning crew was quick, kind, and efficient whenever we needed their help. The suite wasn’t cheap, but since we ate all our breakfasts and most of our lunches in the room, it probably didn’t cost us more than a plainer room would have with all our meals in restaurants. This is better. It’s a beautiful suite, a great locale, and we appreciated the privacy.

What a fantastic place. We were in room 38A and it was perfect. It is fitted out and decorated to the highest specifications and has a great view towards the harbour. It is also next to their restaurant which is superb.

The hotel doesn’t look great from the street side as it’s on a busy spot however don’t let this put you off, the rooms are great!! It was clean, beautiful and we had an ocean view from room E. We loved watching the Fundy tides go in and out, right from our balcony. The restaurant had good food and the view from the patio was stunning.

What a beautiful place to stay. A very modern and comfortable room. We had a ground floor room "J". We just loved it! We really enjoyed our balcony overlooking the bay. The only drawback is that there is very little parking. They have 21 suites and only parking for 6 vehicles. They do give you a dash sign so you can park on the street from 5pm until 11 am the next day. We stayed 3 nights and wouldn't let the parking issue stop us from coming back.

The room is great - full bedroom and a separate living and kitchen area. We didn't do much cooking but everything you would need was provided. The beds were comfortable and the morning view of the harbor is spectacular. The only downside is the VERY LOUD nightclub. They were playing outside and we could clearly hear the music even in the back bedroom. It was a weekend so conditions may be different during the week and during the off season. The parking situation is tight; there are spaces for each suite so we had to park on the street for part of our stay.

Response from Dockside Suites, Owner at Dockside Suites
Responded Aug 10, 2023
Hello Jen, thank you for your review. So glad you enjoyed your suite, however I do apologize for the disruption from the entertainment and music. We only have that on 3 festival weekends throughout the summer, and It sounds like the Lobster Bash Festival weekend was during your stay. We do have other, quieter buildings and areas. Maybe; if there's a next visit we can discuss and offer you a better choice.

We always book a room in their '44' building. They're new and very modern. It's a large room with a gorgeous bathroom, comfy beds, big TV, and 2 fireplaces! The private balcony is also great for relaxing or people watching. The only downside is that there are no elevators. My husband has mobility issues so it makes it difficult. Even if you don't have mobility issues, it's not easy to carry luggage, etc, up the stairs. The staff are incredibly friendly though and if they're around, they will help you with the luggage.

Everything we required was in the upstairs apartment where we stayed. It was very clean and comfortable, the staff were very helpful and we had an ideal location that was not far from the ferry terminal. My wife and I were thoroughly impressed and enjoyed a good night's sleep on a very comfortable mattress. Our apartment was also spacious with a living room and a kitchen which had a stove, microwave and refrigerator. Our balcony overlooked the harbour for some great views.
