We stayed for 2 nights in November. We were in a king suite on the harbour side. The hotel was quite busy; there seemed to be a wedding or other event going on, which could be heard all the way to the 7th floor. The hotel is nice. The view was great. The location is convenient to many restaurants and... More

As a fan of historical hotels, I had to stay at this hotel while in Halifax. Perfect location for walking to the waterfront, shopping areas and the beautiful public gardens. Room is decorated in lovely colors and had a great view of the waterfront. Tracy, room service server, is awesome - great service, friendly and easy to chat with, made... More

I wish there were 1/2 star options, because this hotel deserves a 4 1/2 rating. Was there recently for a conference, and even though the place was packed solid, service was friendly, attentive and efficient. The conference facilities are very good, the fitness room is more than adequate and overall I had a very good experience. Would happily return.

This is probably the largest hotel in Halifax. It is an old railway hotel. The hotel is looking quite tired overall and could use a good makeover. The staff is friendly. The location is about as good as any in Halifax.

We stayed there last weekend as a quick weekend getaway, the hotel is very nice, the staff were very friendly and very good customer service was provided. Only issue was no breakfast and we were facing construction so it was loud when the window was open.

A good choice for central exposure in Halifax. This is a pet friendly hotel and saw twi Lucky french bulldogs checking in!😄 The rooms are clean, well appointed. Service very warm And helpful. There is a fitness room,a heated pool which was a great surprise. There is an on site restaurant that had some upscale homey food.

for such a historied building on the waterfront, it was disappointing that the woodwork was either in fading condition (the lobby) or was painted over. even the old iron staircases were hidden and painted a hideous shade of blue. the desk staff were not helpful explaining the amenities, we found the pool ourselves. the neighbourhood is great for dining and... Staff was fantastic! Parking is costly! Breakfast not included. Super clean, too soft beds. Overall deceiving for the price and expectation. There is no WOW ! We try to figured out...maybe the colours?? the carpets? Window needs to be change ! The dollars spent on the bathroom mirror would been best spend on the bedroom chair. ...and only one! What...
