Nova Scotia's Bay of Fundy and Annapolis Valley, Canada

My wife and I stayed at the Halliburton to get a few days of Christmas shopping in Halifax, as we live in Annapolis Valley. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was good, it actually reminded me of hotels I've stayed in Scotland so things are tight but functional. The breakfast was good as well, its like...

A really great experience, with a beautiful room & fantastic six course meal with wine pairings. The staff were an important part of the dinner with table service that was not rushed along with an expert presentation of each course. We definitely recommend a stay at the Halliburton along with dining at Stories. We'll be back again soon!!

Conveniently located in downtown Halifax, this a Boutique Hotel where they make you feel like you are their only guests! We combined our visit with a matinee at Neptune Theater, followed by a superb dinner at the Haliburton Inn. Highly recommended!

We are a group of women (number 14 this year) who have been getting together for a weekend before Christmas for 35 years now. Usually we meet at one of our homes, but this year decided to go to the Halliburton for dinner and overnight - and we were very pleased with our choice. The staff was so helpful in...

For our 29th Wedding Anniversary, we chose Stories/Halliburton Inn. Our meal at Stories was delicious - every course. We had our dessert and coffee in front of the fireplace that had been started by staff in our room - talk about romantic!!!

A nice little Inn; centrally located; great staff, nice breakfast. Good value; you have to go outside to get to dining room if you are not in that building- but it's not a big deal, if you don't mind that. Parking is a little sketchy in the back of the heritage buildings especially if you are driving a larger vehicle....

Really enjoyed the location, the amenities and the meals at the Halliburton. In fact dinner there was 5 star! The continental breakfast which was included in the room rate was extremely varied in the choices with great coffee as well.

For birthdays and anniversaries, we always try to find the most luxurious hotel we can stay at locally. The Halliburton is that & more, and the best part is that it is affordable. We booked the dinner and a room package. It is so romantic, quiet and close to everything downtown. in fact it reminds us of a hotel in...

We stayed at the Halliburton over New Year's Eve since it was very convenient to the downtown events going on and we booked at a pretty good rate. The room we were given was in the next building on the ground floor, which was what we'd requested. The room was very large with high ceilings and nicely decorated. The bed...

“There is no elevator, so I helped an elderly couple carry their bags to their room on the upper level. No elevator was not a drawback for me, however, and I am sure that the staff could have helped if asked.”
