Halifax is a neat town with lots to offer. good food, great seaside and city sights. Some old WWII 2 history and earlier int the fort. Although no elevator this place is handy to most of the downtown sights.

This is an older quaint hotel that is very close to the water....maybe 2 blocks away. Easy to get around to all the attractions easily. The room was nice, reflective of the hotel but small if you wanted to spend a lot of time there....More

Happily surprised by this gem of a hotel. Location and continental breakfast especially convenient. The room was lovely and at the tip of many stairs, but not a problem for us. We were lucky to get parking in the small back lot.

I didn't stay in the main building, but I do know that they are each different and the various rooms are all configured differently. The staff there are most accommodating. and informative. they will take your calls almost... More
