Stayed here a couple of times now. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the room rate is very competitive. If you are looking for a change from a soulless chain hotel room this is it. Will take you back to a time when quality mattered, but still provide all the modern requirements. Ideal location and a lovely place...

What an amazing beautiful gem this place is. My 2 girlfriends and I just stayed here the past weekend for 2 nights with multiple discussions on how we would ever be able to stay in a regular hotel after experiencing the Waverley Inn downtown Halifax. Upon arrival we were greeted by amazing staff to receive our parking passes (as there...

A wonderful hotel from the past. The room was small but charming. Clean bathroom. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Morning breakfast was delicious. The hotel itself is right from the turn of the century and is like a walk back in time. Outstanding. Note there is no elevator to the upper floors.

We had one of the smaller rooms, but still quite nice. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The room was charming. The halls and grand parlor were beautifully decorated for Christmas. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The Waverely Inn is much more charming than any chain hotel.

Obviously I haven't stayed in them all and I have stayed in many wonderful hotels but having spent two weeks at the Waverley this is the top of my list. Firstly it is in a perfect location downtown Halifax, it is five minutes from the harbour, three minutes from four good restaurants. It isn't expensive, the staff are kind and...

The Waverley Inn is a little slice of history nestled in busy downtown Halifax. If you are looking for lacquered surfaces and sleek modern lines, the Waverley Inn is not for you. On the other hand, if you are looking for sumptuously appointed, historically-accurate suites and an inn that looks like you are still nestled in the early 1900s, then...

This is a genuine inn takes you back in time...what a hotel would have looked like at the turn of the 19th century! Lots of antique furnishings, but contemporary facilities. Each room has its own character, is cosy, an extremely clean. The hotel is conveniently located so that dining, shopping and entertainment facilities are all within easy walking distance. Parking...

We stayed here twice, once on our way across Canada and another on our way back home. Both time we loved it. We had two different rooms. The first being on the second floor and the second on the main floor. They were both very clean and comfy and quiet. We really liked the one on the main floor, we...
