Chelsea is at the front desk and checked me in! She greeted me like I was an old friend, has a smile that lights up the room and her manner is exceptional! Great beginning to my stay. The room is nice, clean, well maintained, and modern. I'll check out the breakfast tomorrow morning and post on that. Great start to a great visit to Halifax area!

The employees and staff were very helpful and kind, but the bathtub didn't drain and that was a poor experience. You never want to take a shower and be standing in the bath water. Never the less the staff were very polite. I could possibly give it another chance, but I won't jump at the opportunity to do so

They let me book online and then when the time came to check in they said they didn’t see my reservation and I had the itenery ! I’m out money and didn’t even get to stay in the room that I paid for , hoping for the problem to be resolved

Nice spot but issues with how it was managed. We stayed here for 4 days prior to Christmas.Room was fine, hotel was clean and staff were nice and helpful. Our issue came on day 2 when there were several hockey teams staying at the hotel for a local tournament. I used to coach and have been in many hotels with my teams in the past and there is always some issues that coaches and parents have to deal with to keep it quiet in hotel and not disturb other guests. Well these teams had no such parents or coaches and the kids were actually dribbling basketballs up and down the halls in front of our room and other guests rooms as well. 20 parents drinking directly in front of my room. Frankly it was a nightmare. Called front desk they did nothing. Talked to parents they did nothing. Went to front desk again to complain and finally something was done but the excessive noise went on for a few hours prior to the hotel taking action. Other than that it was as fine and once the teams left it was back to normal. Breakfast food not good but I’ve yet to have good free breakfasts at a hotel :-).…

I’m just going to start off with….this is the best hotel in the city! Every time I have to travel to HFX I stay at the chateau bedford and not once has it disappointed. From the friendly service to the ample breakfast, it’s all great. The fashion sense is also on point.

Excellent service from exceptional staff. Highly recommend this hotel as it is very clean and well maintained ,the beds are so soft and comfortable. It is close to all amenities and lots of choices for eaterys close by. I was extremely impressed with the hotel staff as they really made my stay very enjoyable.

The hotel was clean and well priced. Nothing fancy but it was all I needed. Staff was friendly and welcoming. The location was easy to get to. Food at breakfast was a bit disappointing but the room, staff, and cleanlinesses of the hotel made up for that.

We have been working on and off in the city for the past year, have stayed in many other hotels, and Chateau Bedford has been the best to deal with in regards to company pricing and accommodation availability. Plus its close to the highway.

First time at this location. Enjoyed our stay. Friendly customer service. Cleanliness was top notch. Food was was delicious. Rooms were extremely spacious. Extremely close to the stores we wanted to shop at. Close to family and friends which was convenient.
