Stayed here for one night when bringing a family member to the airport. The inn is old and outdated. They were in the process of renovation when we stayed and some halls were full of stacked furniture. I booked a suite with a separate bedroom. It was small, basically the same size as a regular room but with a wall separating the two beds. Nothing about the inn was spacious. The room was small, the bathroom was small (and poorly equiped), the halls were narrow, the pool is small and right next to the lobby with windows facing said lobby. There is no restaurant, but there is a small dining room where they serve a hot buffet breakfast, which is included in the price of the room. Any noise made in the halway could be heard loud and clear, which especially sucked at 1:30 a.m. The room wasn't well cleaned. There was hair in the sink and tub, the topsheets had some stains. Overall, for the price we paid I expected better. The room was cramped, not well cleaned, everything about the building was tightly spaced, and we could hear any and all noise in the halway very loudly. The staff were friendly and accomodating, however. But for the price we could have stayed at a 3 star hotel with a lot more space and nicer rooms.…

This is a very nice motel-type establishment, with great parking, easy to find and easy to get on or off the highway. Very handy to the airport. Staff is very polite and efficient. The room was clean and had sufficient space. The beds were comfortable. Breakfast was a little scant for vegetarians, but otherwise, quite okay. This is a great option if you are staying overnight to drive elsewhere or to go to the airport the next day.

We booked this motel based on the reviews and were extremely disappointed. We are a family of 5 and booked 2 rooms at $190 each per night. The rooms were small and dirty, ketchup on the wall, the coffee maker was filthy and there was hair in the tub. This during Covid!!! The AC was extremely loud and the controls were broken so you needed to press down inside the unit to adjust the temperature. When we returned from our first day in Halifax our rooms had not been cleaned. When we went to the front desk we were informed that they are not cleaning rooms because of Covid. Somehow, every other company on the planet have stricter Covid cleaning protocols but The Comfort Inn has decided not to clean your room at all, and of course there is zero discount for this lack of service. We were not informed they no longer clean rooms when we booked or at check in. Our concerns were not addressed at all. The staff was rude and acted like we were ridiculous to expect a cleaning service at a motel that we are paying almost $200/night to stay at. We asked to speak to a manager multiple times, but one was never available, nor did she ever attempt to contact us despite our multiple attempts to contact her. Bad experience. I arrived at the hotel, the staff was friendly and I was quickly able to get into the room. From then on the problems started, the hallway stank of cigarettes even though smoking was prohibited (later when I went to the front desk, they were kicking out a guest for smoking in the room - no exceptions, also a plus). The room was very hot and the air conditioning sounded like a truck engine, it was so noisy. The wallpaper needs to be changed. You could see marks from where the furniture had been cleaned and it was clearly missing some spots to clean. There was no sign that the room had been disinfected for Covid safety which I could confirm from the bathroom. The shower curtain was torn and moldy. There were marks on the door that could be from blood or something else that I prefer not to comment on as well as on the bathroom wall. To my surprise, the sheets were also stained. This is a chain hotel, it should have a standard, which I did not find. I will never come back.…

We stayed at this hotel for a month because of a flood in our home. The owners and staff made our stay a very pleasurable experience! Everyone there is so friendly and eager to please. The rooms are very nice and the location is excellent - beautiful view of the Bedford Basin and close to shopping and groceries. I would recommend this place to anyone. They are also pet friendly, which was a big plus. We will definitely be back!!!

We booked the jacuzzi suite for our 10 year Anniversary , and we’re so pleased with our accommodations. The room was really clean, the staff was amazing and so kind, loved the fact we could park right in front of our room and could walk out on our own private deck right to our car. Overall we had a really amazing time and recommended this Inn to anyone and we will be back in the future ❤️

I have stayed at this hotel several times. It has changes names a few times. Staff always have been great. Breakfast area clean and food good. Decent pool. Clean. Small gym but what you need. I love the drive up units. Many visits we stayed for fun but our last visit family was in hospital. They offered a helpful rate for same. We will continue to support. Love the sun on front deck!

We have been staying here at the Comfort Inn on the Bedford highway now on and off for a few months and let me tell you.... I THINK THE STAFF IS AMAZING & FRIENDLY! They will always go that extra mile to make your stay perfect... for example the Owners went and bought me and my friends a deck of cards so we could have a crib game!!! Our rooms are always cleaned while we are away working daily... And if you want to just get out of your room you could could go on down to front desk and the staff there will always welcome you with a nice conversation and even some suggestions for a good place to eat out or some take out...Highly reccomend this great gem.. it also is pet friendly and over looks the water!!!

I arrived in the evening and found the person at the reception desk to be friendly and helpful. My room was comfortable and clean and there seemed to be nothing lacking. The breakfast was very good - plenty of choices.

Rooms were spacious and so clean. Employees were so helpful and very friendly. We stayed 6 days while visiting our daughter. Close to downtown but not in a heavy traffic area. Complimentary breakfast was fantastic!
