Had our wedding there last October and we were treated like royalty from the minute we booked, the Manager Nimfa and her staff were very helpful and went above and beyond to make sure everything goes exactly as planned. I am forever grateful for them and highly advised for your wedding.
Is a great hotel. Excellent staff. Alex working the lounge recently from Ukraine was excellent. General manager so gracious a host. Love her. Hot buffet breakfast best we have encountered. Clean clean clean hotel. Quiet rooms. So much good to say in one review. Great experience. Definitely returning for next Halifax overnight stay.
We stayed one night in January (last night) and wish we were able to stay longer! As soon as we entered the building and took the elevator to the third floor to check in, we knew this property was going to be special! The employee at the front desk who greeted us around 8:30pm was so sweet and efficiently checked us in and gave us the general info we needed to make our stay seamless. We then found our room and couldn’t believe how large the room was!! Two queen beds/standard room and it was larger that some one bedroom suites we’ve stayed in elsewhere!! Beautiful finishes and very clean. Breakfast in the morning on the top floor was also amazing. Lots of food options, well taken care of for cleanliness and the general space itself was spectacular! Wow!! We are a family of three (17 year old daughter) and everyone agreed that the next time we’re in the city, we’ll be staying here again!! Wish we had a chance to eat at their in house restaurant and try their bar, both looked lovely…. But it just leaves us more reason to come back soon! Also, as mentioned by others… the property manager was by while we were having breakfast to say hello and check on our stay. What a personal and lovely touch!…
We stayed at the Halifax Tower Hotel for their "1920’s themed New Years Eve Ball”. It included different types of appetizers and a large buffet dinner, champagne toast and live music with a DJ during breaks. The large meeting room was decorated with the 1920’s theme with tables to relax between dancing. The hotel is new so everything is new and sparkling. The hallways and common areas are very large and open with lots of room and designed with high end elegance. The hotel reminds me of a high end New York hotel. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We have stayed at many hotels from Las Vegas and New York to all over Europe but we never had the general manager take the time to make sure our stay was perfect. Nimfa Bautista the general manager of the hotel makes you feel like an old friend or family and takes the time to meet guests to make sure you enjoyed your stay. The hotel includes free breakfast in a large modern dining area that includes everything you would dream of for breakfast. Ham, bacon, eggs, fresh fruit, muffins, yogourt, juice and a special coffee maker that creates fresh ground coffee and special coffees. The rooms are huge, with lots of room and many USB plugs located on the end tables and desk. You also have a large fridge and Keurig coffee machine with 4 cups. The bathroom is very modern and large with a cool bowl sink and a large walk in shower. The shower is fantastic, large walk in with no door or plastic curtain to trip over.…
Based on a recommendation from a colleague, my family stayed at the Halifax Tower Hotel in December 2022. We are so glad we did! The luxury of this hotel is evident from the moment you step into the entry foyer. The floors and walls are marble, and the holiday decorations were impeccable. We went to the third floor to check in, and were once again greeted by beautiful, timeless décor and friendly staff. Check in was seamless. We had a room with two queen beds. I have never stayed in a room as open and roomy as this. The beds were comfortable and exceptionally clean. Our room had a tub, which my children loved. They also offer room cleaning daily unlike other hotels I have been to over the past few years. Breakfast, which is included, is second to none. There were so many options - eggs, mushrooms, pancakes, French toast, beans, ham, sausages, bacon, fruit, pastries... the list goes on. We sat on the 16th floor and looked out over Bayers Lake. It was lovely. There was a machine that made several types of specialty coffees too. Both mornings we were greeted by friendly staff; one morning, the owner, and the second morning, the manager. They were friendly, gracious, and helpful. They both made us feel so welcomed and valued as guests. There is also a beautiful pool area complete with hot tub and comfortable loungers. One regret is that we did not try the on-site restaurant - next time! I cannot wait to go back!…
The luxurious, modern decor of the elegant hotel lobby was breathtaking. A pleasure to behold. This was followed by equally outstanding, heart felt, personalized service. The General Manager, Nimfa Bautista, graciously welcomed us in her friendly, hospitable, professional manner. Indeed, the warm hospitality from all of the hotel staff, as they catered to our every need, was the ultimate in feeling pampered. When we opened our hotel room door, we were stunned by the spacious layout and the luxurious, stylish decor. We especially appreciated the meticulous cleanliness of the room and the unexpected surprise of the fantastic view. The room was quiet and the king size bed was beyond comfy. We were completely refreshed in the morning. The complimentary delectable hot breakfast banquet was yet another delight. The breakfast food choices covered everything we could have desired. Plus, this unique breakfast dining experience, on the 16th floor, was further enhanced by the spectacular view from the floor to ceiling windows. This was a fantastic start to the day! After our leisurely breakfast dining, we headed out to the nearby shops and attractions located near to the hotel. Location of this hotel is certainly something to celebrate. …
My husband and I took a retirement trip in September/October and stayed for 2 nights at this superb hotel in Halifax. It was such a memorable experience. The room was large with 2 windows and a magnificent view of the lake. It had a big cozy bed with comfy pillows, chaise, a ceramic shower with a long vanity separate from the toilet/shower area. It had an excellent gym and a pool ready to open in a few days. Breakfast was included with our room and it was served in an elegant dining room on the 16th floor with an astounding view of Bayer’s Lake. The breakfast had so many different choices each morning including different choices of meat, eggs, fresh mushrooms, toast, hash browns, pastries, muffins, fresh fruit, yogurt, juices, and hot beverages. Nimfa (general manager) greeted us during breakfast to check on our hotel experience. The staff were so helpful and friendly and called us when we arrived in our room to see if everything was satisfactory! A dessert awaited us upon arriving to our room. The hotel decor makes you feel like you are on a cruise ship. It was a lovely experience that we will not forget…..I cannot think of anything negative associated with our stay…… we will definitely be back for a visit real soon! Joanne…
Beautiful new hotel in Bayers Lake, a great stay made even better by the staff! Located close to shopping Bayers Lake, downtown Halifax and Peggy's Cove is only a 30 minute drive. Give it a try the next time you are in the Halifax area.
Overnight stay and hosted a summit. Brand new, highly polished, gleaming, clean spacious hotel. Rooms are well appointed, equipped. Free coffee machine. Parking. Limited dining or coffee options within walking distance and sidewalks yet to be made up around the hotel.
Everything with our stay at this hotel was over the top Upon the "WOW" entrance into hotel, we were greeted at check in by jmatal ( friendly, helpful employee ) Big, beautiful, spacious room with cozy beds and pillows Free parking and best hot free breakfast provided Only hotel that we have stayed at that the General Mgr. (Sunday at that and day off) came around breakfast room and talked with quests asking about stay and hot breakfast.
