The hotel is very well maintained and the room was clean and comfortable. Service was fantastic. On my first morning, I woke up on Nov. 8 to find that I had forgotten a very important item preventing me from comfortably leaving my room. I called the front desk to see whether the hotel possibly ĥad what I needed, but no. Minutes later, I received a call from the hotel manager who explained that she had an employee on her way to the hotel,who would stop enroute and pickup my needs and deliver it to me. This was the best possible solution to my own mistake and .I was and am very grateful for the customer service which went above and beyond any I had ever before received. Bravo and Thank-you.

The hotel rooms are nice and spacious, the location is perfect right downtown. Our room was clean and was ready when we arrived one hour prior to check in time. The parking is a little pricey I would recommend you park at lot across the street for half the price. $13 vs $25. It’s literally a 1 min walk. The hotel didn’t have wifi in the room for 95% of our stay which was cumbersome as our daughter needed it to complete some summer school work. We had to go to hotel next door and work from their lobby which was very noisy with people on their phones and not having any phone etiquette, blaring reels, music and videos at 124 decibels. Tough to concentrate under those circumstances. The breakfast was good , however the week days breakfast hours are from 6-9 so tough to make it for those teenagers that like to sleep in. Overall it was a great stay.

Had a great stay at Homewood Suites. Although the rooms were a bit dated, they were clean and comfortable. The separate bedroom made things easy for my infant to nap while we hung out in the living area. Location was decent, we could walk to most attractions within 20 mins. The service from all staff was excellent, the breakfast was good and the elevators were quick. Some minor updates to the rooms would make things a little better, like new couches for example. Additionally, we found the kitchen supplies to be lacking (no spatula, cutting board, can opener, 1 wine glass. The pans were also brutal). Overall very happy with our stay and would recommend it to others

Check in was smooth, tock my CC, I did buy the suite with a debt card and they held my CC which works out.
They gave me early check in because the room prior was pre cleaned and was ready for me immediately which is very much appreciated !
I was given a complimentary snack card for Hilton members which is excellent, and used it for a nice drink and a snack the day I checked out.
Got to the room everything was clean, they use re-useable soaps and creams on the wall now, I do enjoy the bottles soap as when I use them and take the shampoo home I use it makes me feel like I'm still in a hotel lol.
The suite has a full bedroom, with work station table, phone private access to patio and private bathroom, with shower/ tub the room does have a ceiling fan, which is very nice as I need some white noise or a fan to help me sleep.
The internet did not work in the room for some strange reason, the Tech support Admin couldn't add me to the internet, even though they stated the rooms internet was working. I called the internet administration about 5 times trying to sort it out and they stated my name and room number or somthing was in correct, they suggest the hotel manager call them and she did, which was very nice of her as she was busy and I was contacted again and they said the room has internet but my device could not be added.
during my time I was on the patio and a random stranger acualy came over, and decided to join us, as us what I was doing and then I explained this is my patio for my room and then proceeded to leave which was very scratchy and I forgot to report it to the front desk as I was entertaining.
during the morning while I was sleeping I was called from the front desk waking me up asking me frantically if I paid for the suite I stated I had already paid when I checked in and she left me go to confirm I could'nt go back to sleep after I was called.
the shower was very nice and hot, the rain head shower was very nice and relaxing.
the patio doors would not work and one set was locked.
they let me late check out which is nice, as I was tired from entertaining all evening the previous day, late check out allowed me to enjoy the room and shower for a short while, as I was woken early by the phone call making sure I paid.
check out was smooth gave them my key card, I asked of they had a charger for an iphone and it looked like they did but would't let me use it stating it was for staff only, I was able to get an uber though.
The room is an excellent size for a small gathering for family, and has two full kitchens although I wish it did have two bathrooms.

Staff at front desk were very nice, price for room was great, they have a free breakfast which was awesome, every morning breakfast items were different, very tasty. When I arrived in the room I noticed a stain on the bedsheets and called front desk, someone was there within 3 minutes and changed them. I did notice that most of the chairs in the dining room where breakfast was served were very dirty.

We stayed in the Homewood Suites for five nights recently on a trip to Halifax. I hadn't stayed in a hotel of the Hilton Chain for several years, and for the price was expecting something quite upscale. The breakfast was good, with hot eggs, pork of some sort and bread as well as the usual yogurt, fruit etc. The coffee was good, a pleasant surprise. However the breakfast room was crowded with families who stood in front of the stations for extended periods of time, and took copious amounts of food (such as 10-12 pieces of bread) and didn't allow the lines to move along. There seemed to be no business travellers. My biggest concern was the overall cleanliness of the building. In our suite, upon arrival the bathroom had obviously not been swept behind the door to the room in some time. You must arrange housekeeping yourself, and we purposely asked for the first time of the day (9:30) as we knew we would be out. When we returned at 12:30 with a very tired toddler in tow, the cleaner said that she was nearly finished. For some reason she took out the partially used shampoo, soap etc. but did not replace them. We booked this hotel because it had an indoor pool. We were the only family there on each occasion we went. The whole pool area was not very clean. I asked the front desk whether they had a book about the hotel, amenities, restaurant suggestions etc. but they did not seem to have one. Overall, good location but somewhat of a disappointment.

Generally the housekeeping, front desk and breakfast staff were very pleasant and helpful though language barriers presented some difficulties. However, the pool is not all all as pictured. It is quite small and not very clean. The kitchen was poorly stocked. There were only 3 forks for 4 people and only one dishwasher pod for the whole week. There were not enough mugs or glasses. We didn't get the room we were promised. Staff did bring us a table and 4 chairs but the chairs were filthy as were all the chairs in the breakfast room. It was almost impossible to get the towels we needed and the beds were only changed once even though we had requested that housekeeping did the room. the whole hotel badly needs a refurbishing or at least a good cleaning. The breakfasts however were excellent. At the last day we had a most unpleasant experience trying to get the rate that had been confirmed by Hilton when we reserved. Luckily we had kept the confirmation email....they said they had no record of it. Not a way you want to end your holiday. We will never go back here.

I booked this hotel and a block of rooms for my wedding and was sorely disappointed. The room that we stay in was filthy and small. There was vomit splatter on the walls in the bathroom, the tub was not cleaned and had mould growing around the edges, the floors were dirty, the carpet was stained, the couch and chair were stained, the comforter on the bed was stained, there were face prints on the window, etc. It looked like someone had partied in the room the night before and all the staff managed to do was make the bed, change the towels, and fill the dishwater.
The hotel also only has two elevators that both the staff and guests use. I watched staff wait over 40 minutes to get an elevator because the hotel was so busy. So, I guess that solves the mystery of why our room was so disgusting. The staff can’t even get to the rooms to clean them.
When I complained the supervisor that was working when I checked out they compensated us, but lacked sympathy surrounding the situation. They kept saying that we had stayed in an upgraded room like we wanted. Which even if it was an upgraded room doesn’t diminish the fact that the room wasn’t what we asked for and that it hadn’t been clean.
I will say that the complimentary breakfast there is good though.
Though, not good enough to ever recommend this hotel to anyone.

This was a terrible Hilton. The rooms had terrible odours and damage and stains on the walls. I wasn’t welcomed as a Hhonors member and it was noticeable that the staff didn’t know about this program. I checked in and was given another persons complimentary bag. This Hilton was below standard and Hhonor members should avoid this location.

Quality of our stay was overall very poor. The service we received at the front desk was unsatisfactory, as we were kept waiting for a long time and the staff member kept insisting she couldn't find our booking and was happy to turn us away for the night despite my insistence that I had a booking confirmation (which I showed her). Eventually she found it after I pushed for her to continue looking. Our room smelled strongly of food/cooking which we found disgusting. The elevators were a disgrace as there are only 2 for the building. So you're constantly waiting AGES for an elevator and they are always crammed with people. The parking is extortionate, $25 a day and the parking lot is often full so you have to figure out other parking in the downtown area. Overall, definitely not worth the high prices they charge for their rooms.

Good morning Daryl,
All of the suites do come equipped with keurig machines stocked with regular and decafe coffee.
Depending on the room that is booked they range from 350 sqft to the largest 2 bedroom suite at 700 sqft
The tv's in the rooms are not smart tvs. but if you are travelling with a laptop your can certainly bring an hdmi cord and connect to the tv like that.
