If you are looking for a place to really get away this is it. We recently celebrated our daughter's wedding at the Lodge at Pine Cove. This was a perfect setting for a wedding. Most of the guests spent the weekend there so it really felt like we were all on vacation rather than just attending a wedding. The cottages...

The lodge is basically a collection of cabins in the middle of a national park. It's a very peaceful place to come and unwind from city life. There are some very well marked hiking trails, generally an hour or two walk each. You can also go canoeing / kaying on the river. The scenery is lovely. We were there for...

My husband and I returned for our second visit for a 3 night stay over the Thanksgiving weekend. We stayed in the Paul Kane cabin, which was immaculate and well-appointed. We loved the screened-in porch and the wood-burning fireplace. The breakfast hamper is always a treat (my only wish is that they would deliver it earlier, as we are early...

This is the perfect combination of romantic getaway, timeless Ontario Lodge, & a dash of "Glamping. Private Cottages were as high end as any resort of this style. Staff and owner were attentive and very friendly, from booking to Departure. Basically we felt like we had all the privacy of our own cottage, but at anytime, lodge experiences were a...

The lodge a Pine Cove is a special place. It's my happy place. A place to disconnect and take a break. This is our second time visiting and it is just as beautiful, tranquil and peaceful as we remembered. We arrived at the Lodge around noon and was greeted by our lovely host, Victoria. She was very professional, hospitable and...

Tranquillity - leave the world behind for a few days. We spent 3 nights at the lodge, the first two in the 3 bedroom HBC Cottage; the third in the 1 bedroom McKenzie Cottage. Both cottages were comfortable and well equipped and beautifully located to take advantage of the view over the water and the tree clad shores. McKenzie Cottage...

Full disclosure - I'm a Management Consultant. Much of my "day job" involves finding problems or weaknesses and helping put them right. With the Lodge at Pine Cove, with the exception of one small tiny issue, everything was pretty close to perfect. The location is clearly fantastic with views over a fairly wide and languid stretch of the French River....

On rare occasions you come across a business that has got everything right and The Lodge at Pine Cove is certainly one such business. My only regret with staying here is that we only booked for 2 nights. Having never stayed anywhere like this before, we were a little apprehensive when including it in our road trip around Ontario and...

We spent a very memorable six nights at The Lodge at Pine Cove for our honeymoon in September. It exceeded all of our expectations, and we can't imagine having spent this special time anywhere else. The Lodge at Pine Cove is a rare gem in Northern Ontario. Few other lodges possess the combination of rustic refinement that has been achieved...

Nancy and I with close friends, a couple we don't get to see often enough spent four delightful days at the Lodge at Pine Cove. It was overall a delightful experience. We had the Recollet cabin, a two bedroom cabin with two bedrooms each with a king sized bed plus a bath with shower, a full kitchen and a sitting...
