We stayed here for 2 nights and I believe that’s more than enough. The room (mine was number 04) was small but good for a short trip. It is not the cleanest place in the world. The bathroom could have been better in terms of cleaning. Bed was great, small fridge and a mini kitchen with toaster, cutlery and plates. They let us check in 2 hours earlier.
We had booked Unit #5 and Unit #6 for one overnight stay for 2 couples. Great location if you are planning on attending a concert at the Mavrick's Music Hall (approx 5 minute walk to Music Hall). Both units were very clean and had really comfy beds/blankets. Unit #6 is very large and has a very nice open area with a kitchen. Unit #5 was smaller than Unit #6, but still nicer/larger than an average hotel room in my opinion. They both have a nice "apartment feel" to them. I personally preferred Unit #6 for the open space and better lighting, but Unit #5 was also nice. Great price for the quality you get in my opinion. I think that my absolute favorite aspect of these units were the heated floors, especially during Winter time!
We had holidays in barrie. A pleasure to stay in this apartament. Great rooms, free wifi, conditioned air. A small paradise. Thanks so much to the owner Steve. You're so nice. Give a giant hug to your Cats. All lovable. We falled in love for Barrie
Going to Barrie for business again, I wanted to be close to downtown. All the other hotels are far enough away and would need to drive downtown. I then stumbled upon this place that was recently placed on expedia so I booked it for one night. What a pleasant surprise. This place turned out to be a converted house that is now a boutique guest house. It has four suites. We were accommodated in #2. It had a full kitchen, large living room and a nice sized bedroom. (The bed was very comfortable). It was spacious and very comfortable and really quiet. It was like a home away from home. Best of all it was a few minutes walk to the downtown area and the water front. True, the weather wasn't conducive (read snow storm) for much of an outdoor experience to enjoy the area but being a few minutes away from the shops and restaurants was a real bonus not having to drive. We will be staying there next time we travel to that area and I hope that the weather will be nicer so we can enjoy the grounds and the other things that it has to offer. Also, for the price you would be hard pressed to find anything comparable to this place.…
