Detailed Reviews
We stopped at the hotel for a night. The location is very convenient if you need to rest while driving over longer distance - close to Highway 401. The service was good. The room was clean. The hotel stay included a breakfast: eggs, cream cheese, bagels etc.

This is a good option on the Front St hotel strip. The hotel has been nicely renovated, is spotlessly clean and the beds comfy. The staff are very friendly and responsive. The hotel doesn’t have a pool but the basics are all there for a good stay. There were a few minor maintenance type issues consistent with an older building. The room was overpriced at $259. As it turned out, we could have got it for much less if we had cancelled our original booking and rebooked the night before. This is more an Expedia issue so be sure to check that out. Best rooms are on the main floor in the courtyard where you can open your sliding doors nice and wide. Also, set the room fan on ‘automatic’ for the best climate control. Would come back.

Typical big box hotel. Disappointed in the level of cleanliness though. Hair in the shower and stuck to the bathroom mirror. And not sure what they wiped things down with, but all flat surfaces had dirt/dust wipe marks and lines left behind, often with small hairs mixed in. Being a bit of a germophobe, kinda gross. And considering how much we paid for the room, I expected better.
Further, no king rooms? Hmmm. Should be a bit of a staple option?
But, the front desk staff were friendly, so that was a positive. Overall, I’d stay somewhere else

To start I would have to say the staff were really nice and very helpful, no complaints there whatsoever.
We went to our allotted room which smelt bad (can't pinpoint why it just did) went to reception and the really nice guy moved us to another room. The room didn't smell so that was a bonus! The room was pretty old and sad, however, it was clean (barring the sliding windows which were definitely not clean) The bathroom was old and the toilet flushed itself whenever it wanted, it wasn't too loud so we didn't complain about it (and we didn't want to move again) it had a new sink so that was nice, barring the fact the faucet was set too far back and when you washed your hands you wet the whole of the back of the sink (we wrapped a hand towel around it to stop all our stuff from getting wet) the bath was old and when you showered the shower curtain attacked you.
The room carpet was old and yucky looking (I always take slippers so not too concerned) the pelmet over the curtains was missing so didn't block out any of the light, at night they had bright lights on all around the hotel so it was as bright as it was during the day (we stuffed the top of the curtains with pillows and cushions which helped) The tv was a decent one however, the picture was terrible, couldn't watch hockey or baseball because you couldn't actually see the puck or ball
The hotel has a lot of contractor/shift workers so they were up outside talking loudly at 4:30am, Could go on and on...... Oh the breakfast was good, All in all, give it a miss it's not worth the money

my sliding door was greasy, the walls were greasy. I was lucky to have my little dog with me but she spent the time licking up crumbs on the floor. I only had lamps and since im 5' nothing I asked the blonde lady at the front desk for something to stand on bc my foot was broken and it was hurting to keep hopping up on the bed, she said use the recycling bin. I also had some guy on a bike try to sell me drugs for two days.

Our vehicle broke down and we (my husband, myself and our fur babies) were stranded in Belleville; the staff at comfort inn were so helpful and accommodating. They set us up and kept us safe. Our room was nice and clean, beds were comfy and the wifi strong. We were able to sort ourselves out and get a good nights sleep thanks to the good folks at Belleville comfort inn! A heartfelt thank you for helping our family! If we find ourselves in Belleville again, we’ll be back!

Only staying one night wit the dogs, had a 2 bed room with drive up. Exactly what we need when travelling with them.
Room very clean, little dated. But served our purpose. Had a very good night's sleep.
Breakfast usual basic products, however did serve bacon and waffles.
Will stay again.

The room stunk both chairs had broken arms and the carpet runner was filthy. If it wasn't so late we would have left right away. We booked through Expedia and it said the rooms had all been updated-but only in the main building. I WILL NEVER STAY AT ANY COMFORT INN AGAIN

Response from paulci, General Manager at Comfort Inn Belleville
Responded Sep 15, 2015
Dear kch58, Thank you for posting your review. I would like to sincerely apologize for the condition of your room on your stay with us. While I can assure you that these matters have been addressed, that this situation should never have been allowed to happen in the first place. Ideally, our Annex Building adjacent to the main hotel would have been renovated this year when the main building was completed, or that we would be able to exclude these rooms from appearing on third party booking channels, but as our inventory is web-based we are not able to do so. If you would ever consider giving another chance I would be happy to handle your reservations personally and grateful for the opportunity to demonstrate our usual fine level of hospitality. Sincerely, Paul Armstrong General Manager
