Hotel completely renovated in early 2011. All rooms now have fridges, microwaves, flat panel TVs and Marriott's new "Green Tea Concept" decor. Largest guestroom in the area. Largest heated indoor pool at any hotel in the city. All rates include a deluxe hot continental breakfast and wireless high speed internet. Great location, right across from Belleville's only shopping mall - The Quinte Mall. Walking distance to fast food and family dining restaurants. Also within walking distance to a family favourite "The Pirate Playground" and the riverside park soccer pitches. Great hotel for leisure travellers and families.
Star ratings are intended to indicate the general level of features, amenities, and services to expect. This property is classified according to Giata.
Places to stay are graded on a 0-100 scale. The higher the grade, the easier it is for travellers to find restaurants and things to do within walking distance.
This is a comfortable hotel with easy access from the 401 and close to lots of amenities. Walking distance to many restaurants, a mall, and a theater.
I had a king room with a nice sitting area with a large flat screen TV in both rooms. Separating the bedroom through the sitting area reduces any hallway noise. The room view was of the parking lot.
The meeting rooms were adequate with lots of smaller breakout rooms based on your groups need. Only item of note is that some rooms are on the long single hallway to the north side and some on the south side. If you are looking for others rooms, maybe check with them which end they are on unless you enjoy a walk. All staff were very helpful. The breakfast buffet is standard hot and cold, but very adequate.

Over all the stay was pleasant. Staff were courteous and helpful. The breakfast was a buffet style and self serve. Food was fine, the standard “scrambled” eggs and another protein. Breads to toast and cereals. Juice and coffee.
The unfortunate part was our suite smelled of stale cigarette smoke. It was like the old days when all the rooms smelled like that. Not so much the hotel’s fault a smoker stayed there and smoked.
If I need to stay in the area I’d try another hotel just for a change. If it was the only option it would be fine.
I completed an online survey they emailed me. I mentioned it. I got a standard “sorry” reply. Would have been nice to receive a discount code for a next visit or some member points to encourage a next visit.

Covid-19 protocols were in full affect. I love the fact that a continental breakfast was pre-pack, and ready to be picked up each morning which includes coffee or tea. I also love that our pool time was scheduled with no more than 10 persons at a time. This Hotel is clean with friendly and helpful staff. Since myself and family did a lot of hiking in the area we found it to be a very convenient location. Would definitely stay here again. Thanks

This hotel looks like an old motel that was half-refurbished. The "renovated" parts are nice, but overall there's a kind of dumpy feel. Service is also lackluster; when we checked in, the manager was happy to let there be a long line for service being handled by one person while she wasn't helping out at all. Breakfast was a mess - there were long periods when the chafing dishes sat empty, e.g. a 10 minute period when there were no scrambled eggs. Also, not enough hot water in the shower. But the real offender is the price: $300 a night. I guess because it's close to the County, but... it's shockingly overpriced for what it is. The Marriott in Kingston is better; we'll stay there next time rather than at this Belleville one.

Booked for 129$C GOC rate. Stayed during 2020 Covid pandemic
Checked in after 3pm and was provided room on first floor, close to the handicap parking. Hotel is only 2 floors with no elevators.
Room had 2 queen beds, very spacious, fridge, microwave, fridge, large lcd TV, good bathroom.
Pool was nice, 8 ft deep, limit of 10 persons in 30 minutes blocks. Gym was well appointed with 2 each elliptical and treadmill.
Bagged breakfast was OK, just don't forget to ask for eggs, cereals and yogurts. There was a line but went quickly.
Plenty of parking, loads of restaurants nearby.
Overall, recommended.

The rooms and rates at Fairfield are amazing. The rooms are very large and clean. Free breakfast is an added bonus. Housekeeping was great as well! Very convenient to restaurants and shopping. Also if you don’t mind a 20 min drive, close to all the wineries and even more restaurants

Standard Fairfield Inn. Staff were friendly. Breakfast is only available in prepacked to go bags, and you can add Greek yogurt, coffee, eggs, cereal, and milk. This was very well done considering the pandemic. Cleanliness and hygiene practices need significant improvement. No wipes in room despite the Marriott cleanliness guarantee, and we weren’t provided any when we first asked, only offered after a second ask when it was too late.
Mask use and distancing were not followed by housekeeping, even after directly asking and also informing the front desk. I understand there is significant antimask sentiment among staff, and don’t have a problem with people having their personal views, but this violates hotel policy and local laws. Significant improvement needed with respect to this, and would not encourage others to stay here until the pandemic is over.

Arrived to find room was never cleaned properly. Sock in front of dresser, food in fridge, and yellow stain on sheet with long black hair. Cost to me 249.00 a night for 3 nights. . They did exchanged may room for another, that was nice, but not mush cleaner, no sock on floor, fridge empty, sheet cleaner, but it felt dirty. Would stay there again would try my luck elsewhere. I do prefer to stay at a place that I can enjoy the facility, not just sleep and go, Like a resort of some kind.

The building is old and the rooms too but everything is clean. AC is a little loud in the room. Kristen on front desk was great, very friendly and helpful in resolving a small issue we had with our room; especially considering she was manning the desk all alone. Pool is open, gym too, breakfast is available in grab and go but we overslept it unfortunately. If you're passing through town, decent enough to stay the night.

Room a bit worn but very clean. I was in a wing detached from lobby building. Bed very comfortable, AC worked great—if there were any loud guests, didn’t hear them. Bath is very tight, but fine for a short stay. On a busy street right off highway, lots of dining options nearby and also a couple miles away downtown.
