The staff were quite friendly and helpful but the hotel is rundown and the I don't believe the cleaning is up to the standards it should be, especially during the pandemic. Our room was not ready despite checking in at 6PM (checking starts at 4PM) because of a suddenly discovered broken AC unit so had to wait 20 minutes for another room to be prepared. We were provided card key and room number when it was ready, only to arrive to the cleaners still rushing to clean the room. After we entered, there were still dirty glasses and used masks left and counter/table had dried drink stains. There was also mould in the shower on tiles up and down sides which could be removed if simply cleaned properly. This place is not well run and ony capitalizes on proximity to Sandbanks but there are much better options only 5 minutes back in town. Struggled to rate this as a 2 - I woud not stay again and not recommend.

This hotel is poorly run, unfriendly front staff, management wearing masks on their chins, cleaning staff not wearing masks at all! They should remove yellow bed strips from all beds during pandemic as these are never washed. For breakfast you get one small croissant or muffin, yogurt, juice and tiny orange. No coffee/tea. Additionally, hotel staff refused to give breakfast to my friend with 3 kids who came at 10:05!!! Even though we were not informed that breakfast only served until 10am when we checked in.

Greetings: I stayed at this hotel between Sept 20 to 24, 2021. In general the hotel is clean and I really enjoyed the Coffee machine in the room and a Microwave Oven. The view of the habour was breath taking, I created many videos, but for two days it rained, so I could not continue doing my photography. As for the internet, very good, I could not take a Speed test to see what MPS speed the internet was, but I was streaming Netflix I my Tablet and I would think the speed would be about 40-50 MPS download. Oh I did upload short videos to friends again the speed was very acceptable. If you have to stay for a business trip at this Hotel the Wifi Internet would be very acceptable. Now the things I didn't find acceptable, in the morning I had to go down to the lobby to get breakfast. Which was a Coffee, an Apple, a small muffin, and times a kind of taco with cheese served cold and I had to warm it up in the MicroWave. I did not find the breakfast acceptable, I hope they improve on this. Next the cleaning of my room, I had to ask the Front desk to inform the person who cleans the room to clean my room. In Conclusion, for business stay I believe this is a great Hotel, Wifi Internet is awesome. Also ask for the HarbourView when you book with this Hotel, awesome Sunrise views and makes a romantic scenery. I wanted to give it a 3.5 rating , but it does not allow me.

This is an old dated hotel with very poor sound insulation. People are noisy in the halls, speaking loudly and letting doors slam including house keepers closing doors into the locking latch while cleaning rooms so all you hear is loud banging doors through out the halls. Don’t expect any sleep without earplugs because the thin hollow doors do not block any sound. The bathrooms are disgusting. Mold, stains and dirt are everywhere in the sink, tub and toilet making you question cleanliness. Wifi is poor depending what part of the hotel you’re in and the time of day. I’ve stayed here multiple time through work and would never stay here if I could choose where they put me. I wouldn’t recommend it. Pay a few dollars more and enjoy your stay somewhere else because chances are this place will ruin your day

After staying in $100.00 motels And receiving $125.00 in great sévices then spending over $200.00 for a night and receiving less than $100.00 in service I would say give the little mom and pop motels your business. I have nothing good to say about this place from the front desk personal to the condition of the room. We spend a lot of time in the road and have never been disappointed in a small motel. Thé continental breakfast was appalling, the room had no kettle, or coffee maker let alone the coffee tea to make, the bathroom was In need of a good cleaning with mould and dirty grout. The staff were not equipped to handle a long weekend, or just under staffed. We waited 2 1/2 hours for a cot which finally came with no bedding or a pillows and the staff person was reluctant to give a blanket. How does a hotel inspector still give a good rating and they are able to keep their rating. 1 star if that.

This was a disappointment from the time we tried to book in. We booked a king room. with a harbour view. After a 20 minute wait for the room, they gave us a room with two doubles with a street view. We went back down and said our room was wrong. They then said it would be another 20 minutes while they "prepped' the king room. So again we wait in the lobby.
When the room was "finished" they sent us up. There was still a gentleman cleaning the room but the body odour coming off him was suffocating. I am not talking a bit of a funk from a man that's been working and hasn't had a chance to clean up, I am talking filth. This person sadly left a trail of stink. My wife and I were gagging. We were dead tired and this was getting late so I opened the balcony door and the room door and stood there fanning the door for 5 minutes hoping to evacuate the air from the room. This worked after a while. That is a first for me.
The room is dated, very stark, and not very pleasant. The location is nice and the front staff gentleman was pleasant and tried to be helpful.
The gentleman cleaning the room needs basic hygiene lessons. We could smell him in the hall as soon as we got off the elevator. It is a terrible realization that the nasty stink in the hall is emanating from your hotel room.
We will simply not return.

Do yourself a favour and stay away from this dump!
I had a two room reservation for myself and my family, and despite having driven five hours to get there, could not fathom actually sleeping in such a filthy room. I had my nine month old infant with me and I was too horrified to put him on the carpet or even lay down his blankets.
There was dust and crumbs and a dirty q tip and a used straw in the room and under the beds, the bathroom was so gross that I immediately knew there was no way I would shower in it. Paying 250 bucks and getting the feeling that we would prefer to touch as few surfaces as possible in order to remain clean is quite insulting.
So please please do yourself a huge favour and sleep anywhere but here, honestly sleeping on a park bench might actually be preferable.
We ended up literally leaving and are now fighting for a refund, the manager of the hotel may as well be a phantom because he hangs up in your face when you call him and then just refuses to answer - has likely just blocked my number rather than talk to a client. And after the front desk promised to charge only 50% of the room they charged more than the actual full cost of our reservations.
I cannot stress enough how far away from this place you should stay!

Upon arrival @ 9:30 at night and driving for 2 hours we checked in and went up to our room. It had not been made up nor cleaned. Bed was not made and items out in the bathroom. After going back downstairs and waiting 10 minutes for someone to come to the front desk we were given another room with no responsibility taken for the unclean room. “Well it shows that it was cleaned on the computer.” Upon entering the second room and beginning to unpack because the bed was made, we found urine on the toilet seat and hair around the complimentary shampoo and counter. This was without needing to look very hard. With COVID, it left us feeling the sanitary process and any added safety measures were not a priority. We decided after this second attempt we no longer wished to stay at this hotel and expressed our concerns regarding COVID and cleanliness. The desk took our number and told us that someone would be in contact with us the next day. It has been a week with no response. I guess it just doesn’t matter to Ramada about our experience. We moved on to another hotel to enjoy our stay in Belleville at another chain of hotels where obviously there were indications they made cleaning and COVID a top priority.

I cannot find words to express how filthy and run down this amazingly beautiful hotel is. Check in was fine,room was messy upon entering but was too tired after a 300kms drive to go down and start complaining. Bes was messy, pillows strewn, one set of bathroom amenities,but the tiles in the bathroom were filthy. Had to take shower not letting anything touch me. Taps were rusted. Walls in the bedroom had patches(obviously no one used tape or mudding or sanding was not done when patching up the wall) the door to the balcony was the worst. Cobwebs, flies and filth all over the doorframe. Horrible experience. The hotel could do with a proper housekeeping manager who can train his staff! Getting home another unpleasant surprise when i found an extra 50 dollars had been overcharged on my credit card. Management needs to step up. I for one will never set foot on this property despite the fact it has a breathtaking view of the marina. PITY.

The hotel has undergone extensive renovations since we were last there. However there were 2 charges on my bill upon checkout that were not mentioned when I booked on the Wyndham website. These charges were: $4.00 Covid Sanitization fee and $3.00 for Safe Warranty. I have stayed at several hotels in the Wyndham chain during Covid and have never been charged the fee. I didn't use a safe so I don't why I was charged the fee. I just want to make everyone aware of these "surprise fees." Read more

Yes, fireworks are visible from the rooms on the waterside of the hotel - occasional tree obstruction.
A great view can be had by all guests from the viewing deck on the outdoor pool.
There are more places to choose from in the Belleville area.
