Hallway smells like pee Someone else’s used coffee cups behind our night stand Inch thick of dirt around the room Patio door door did not shut Mosquito remaining above bathroom mirror and tub surface peel off
Unclean rooms and bathrooms (human hair everywhere), very old and dated fixtures, A/C and Heat not working, TV not working, noisy (thin walls), stains on the ceiling. I would not recommend this location.
Terrible experience. Had to change rooms after check in due to state of bed. Old and uncomfortable. Hotel was noisy and they have no security so no one to deal with noise. Right now the power is out for the second time. No lights no heat. Just really a second class hotel
The pictures on line are very deceiving… the main lobby and ground looks great! But then you go to the rooms and they’re dirty. There were flies in the room, squished variety of bugs in the curtains and door frames. The bathroom vanity was broken, the showers are full of mildew…cleanliness is not a top priority here… I asked for extra towels and the housekeeping staff put them on the toilet. Obviously I don’t believe Our Bill for two nights should have been $400 to stay there!
The pictures are NOT what the hotel is now. Bathroom had black mold, blood spatter on the counter, one towel for a double room, hair in that said towel, half roll of toilet paper, and the toilet ran non-stop.... beds were SINKING in the middle, our door wouldn't fully lock, just needed to push hard on the door and you'd be able to gain entry. Checked under the bed to ensure no toys or clothes left behind from our kids, and there's food and plastic wrapping and a lovely note from previous guests among 4 inches of dust. Pool is gross....and slide does not work. There is no outdoor pool...or patio. The lobby of the hotel is probably the nicest of the whole place. Location is gorgeous so it's such a shame that the hotel isn't maintained. Stayed two nights (was suppose to be 3) but we checked out early as it was SO DIRTY and gross...was $500 for two nights....…
Property in need of serious update. Staff were friendly but there weren't enough of them. Hallways carpets were dirty and rooms had not been upgraded for decades. Bed was comfy though. Location by the waterfront was nice, but no other amenities were in walking distance from the hotel.
Dirty rooms!! I spent half an hour sanitizing everything. The shower needed bleach and a scrub brush. Every surface needed a deep cleaning. Room Key cards repeatedly stopped working. It’s an old hotel, that’s ok, but dirty is not ok. Cheap should not equal filthy. View was nice, room was spacious and fortunately my room had hard floors. Friend’s rooms had carpet and were smelly. I’m surprised Ramada let’s this hotel use its name.
We booked a deluxe “queen” room, but the bed was actually a “double”. The room amenities were lacking items, face clothes, toilet paper holder left empty, no cups. Housekeeping didn’t change the sheets which had a wine stain, and our complaint wasn’t addressed. Bathroom garbage wasn’t emptied. A complete lack of quality control by housekeeping.
Location is great, amazing walking trail, water view and park within walking distance. Main entrance and conference rooms and banquet hall are lovely but the actual rooms are not clean or well maintained. Soiled linens, wallpaper staples to the walls, vanity falling off the wall. There was a strong natural gas smell two mornings in a row and I’m the second day we called 911. Staff had left a burner turned on but unlit. If I hadn’t been there for a conference I would have changed hotels. I had planned on using the pool but after the cleanliness issues with my room I chose not to.
Would not recommend this hotel at all. The room was nasty from the bathroom being dirty (thank God I had lysol with me) to junk under the bed. The halls were dirty with broken lights and garbage. Ice machine also broken. The staff was bothered with our 10pm check in and they did not accommodate a proper sleeping crib for our infant.
