We stayed here with our 2 granddaughters. So convenient to the African Lion Safari, Butterfly Conservatory and restaurants. It was such a lovely surprise when we went down for breakfast to discover you get a freshly prepared one. There is a menu where you chose your choices of eggs, waffles, cereal, fruit, bacon, sausages, condiments, juices. Everything was prepared perfectly and so lovely to start your day with a hearty breakfast. I am sure they did this because of Covid but I hope they continue.

From the moment one walks in the staff are personable & professional!
Tyson @ the front desk greeted us w/ kindness & a wanting one to enjoy their stay. Les & Isabel were gracious hosts at the bar area. The Sapporo & other draught pints were fresh & poured w/care. The food from Leo & Kevin at the restaurant was top rate-the pizza was exceptional and the breakfast buffet was everything you need from homemade omelettes to fresh mixed vegetables. Both Grace & Yasha were quick to serve a great fresh cup of coffee. This accommodation is clean and family oriented. You could stay anywhere but it is the staff that will make one feel warm & welcome when they decide to stay at the Garden Inn Cambridge in proximity to all amenities in the Tri city area-I will stay here again.

I stayed here during covid and felt very safe. The hotel was very clean and the hotel rooms were sealed and labeled as sanitized. Items in the room were also labeled as sanitized. The people working at the reception desk were both wonderful (I only saw 2 people during my stay). My room was outdated but the hotel was under renovations. Overall, great experience!

Recently stayed two nights - May 13 and 14, 2022. Booked under our 'special' wedding attendee rate of $116. While we were waiting to check in, the front desk staff was on the phone and booked a person into the hotel for the following Friday and Saturday night at a rate of $116 which included complimentary breakfast. So they received the same special rate as us but also had breakfast.
When we returned to our room Saturday evening after the wedding, we wanted to grab a shower but had no clean towels because housekeeping did not make up our room. Called the desk and they were very pleasant and sent someone up with clean towels right away but offered no explanation.
Speaking to my cousin the next morning, I found out that nobody made up their room either.
I am a Hilton Honors Member and typically book at either a Hilton Garden Inn or a Hampton and service is always amazing. I got the impression that the Cambridge Hilton Garden Inn is not treating their 'wedding guest' parties with the same level of service the Hilton is known for.

This was my worst stay at this location ever, I usually choose it as my regular hotel but this one was terrible. Multiple issues with cleanliness and maintenance problems upon arrival into the room (I took photos for my own records). Got 2 bottles of water on check in was the extent of my membership benefits… Air conditioning was not working properly and wouldn’t change temperatures or settings. Pillows on the bed were visibly dirty with mascara marks on the one pillow. Shampoo bottle in the bathroom was half full and previously used and not replaced. Stains inside the toilet bowl, stains and crumbs on the carpet near the bed, visible mold and mildew on the edge of the shower along the caulking. Drain and air flow in shower we’re both broken off and sitting in the shower and I placed them back on myself. Bedroom light switch was cracked in half and painted over. I usually enjoy staying here, but this disappointing experience has changed my mind about this location going forward.

This is a very nice hotel, the renovations are modern and nice. The outside of the building need repairs and the ceiling above the pool has wet spots. The hot tub was down at the time which was a bummer and the pool area is pretty small but worked well for the two of us we were able to use our speaker and played music and no-one complained we tossed a ball around. The Queen bed was tight and low to ground but comfortable, tv stations didn't have a guide there was a fridge and coffee maker, weird how the mirror faced you while on the toilet though. The front desk employee was kind and wore a mask and there was plexsie glass, smoking area close to one of the doors as well. Overall it was a good hotel and close to amenities.

We stayed here for two nights and noticed right away how very good the staff are. Our room was clean although there is no guide for the TV which was really disappointing. The bathroom was, likewise, very clean but there was only one towel hook for a room with two beds and the shower combination was a daily challenge. I realize that being on the top floor, the hot water would take some time to arrive but more than ten minutes was a very long time. It would help to have some simple instructions printed and given to guests at check-in. The breakfast is very good and there is quite an extensive menu for dinner. A big disappointment was having no alcohol-free beer available. Most hotels, restaurants and bars stock at least one brand of this. My husband cannot drink alcohol following surgery.

We decided against staying with this establishment which was willing to charge us a $75/ day “sanitation” fee if we opted to stay with our hypoallergenic dog. This is outrageous; I can accept having to pay for damages if my pet was responsible, no problem. When I ask the staff what I receive in return for this daily surcharge, the answer is “nothing”.
For an industry which relies on customer satisfaction, emerging from a time where families and people were encouraged to adopt pets, I am shocked at how archaic and and opportunistic the leadership culture in this industry is. Consider a paradigm shift and hire some transformational leaders to understand and start doing the right thing in the communities that support you !

We have stayed at this hotel three times in the last few months. Each time, we are placed in a old room that is falling apart. This time, we were placed in a room at the end of the hall. The only good thing was that the room was very quiet. The room had stains on the carpets, sofa, and tiles. The bathtub drain was partially plugged so it drained very slowly after a bath. The toilet in the adjacent room must have been broken since we could hear water running through the walls all night. The towels had brown stains on them. The bedding had dried blood spots that should have been seen by the housekeeping staff. Lastly, the coffee supplies were not restocked from the previous guest. Given the lower occupancy with Covid, there really is no excuse for missing this many things. So much for the CleanStay program! This is the treatment we received as Diamond members. It's not worth the bonus points. We will stay somewhere else next time.

On the plus side, the breakfast was very good. The fried potatoes were exceptional. Shelby did a great job providing good service for breakfast.

Though the Suite was very spacious, we found the mattress in the main king bed very worn (springs VERY worn out on the side facing to the door), so I felt like I was sleeping in a hole. On top of that, as we booked for 4 adults, the pull-out bed was needed and its thin mattress was horrible, even for our young adult son so we had to request additional bedding to place on the thin sofa mattress to help not feel the springs poking through. Luckily and an additional roll-away single bed was brought to our room to use as well, which was helpful (the housekeeper was very understanding and helpful), so we managed to get through the night, but all 4 of us were very surprised at the poor mattresses over-all

No, the elevator does not require a key. Yes, the side doors to the hotel require a keycard to get in after a certain hour.
