We booked this same night through hotels.com as we decided to go to a Bisons game last minute.
The hotel was clean, the owner was very nice.
Decor extremely dated but in good condition. Bed comfortable. Walls are very thin if you are a light sleeper...we could hear the neighbours tv all night long.

Our only issue was the owner put all the guests in one section of the hotel (away from her living quarters)... there were some obnoxious people who riolled in around 230am, yelling, repeatedly slamming doors, this went on for some time. When we awoke next morning they had left tons of cigarette butts on the ground outside our door.

Spacing guests out a bit would be best for sound.

The previous reviews said it was clean and it certainly was clean and very well maintained. We met the owner at check-in and he was very polite and helpful and obviously cares about accommodations. He gave us wonderful directions and when asked for his recommendation for a restaurant he directed us place that had great food and a wonderful value.
We likely stay there again if we are in Fort Erie, again.

The sign says "clean rooms" and "low rates". For $80 bucks (Can) you get a clean room with a decent bed, warm shower, TV, internet, clean sheets and towels. If all you need is a room for a night or two, then the Haven is your choice. The room furnishings are decades old but functional. This place served my purpose for one night as I was in Fort Erie to attend the Prince of Wales Stakes at the nearby track. I like places like this where I can park right in front of my room. In my opinion, I'd rather stay here than pay twice the price for the Clarion or the Comfort Inn ($160) which is what they were charging for one night.

This motel has the classic wood paneling, spacious rooms, and bathroom tile of the old days! And it's well-maintained and very clean. It was a treat to soak in the tub after a LONG bike ride from Buffalo NY (via Niagara Falls, not just across the bridge!!). Checking in was efficient and owner welcoming. And the location is great, easy to walk to food (Greek next door!), shopping center a couple blocks away, and of course Tim Horton's. And ideal for me setting off along Lake Erie on the next leg of my bike journey... It may not be the cheapest motel in the area, but the cleanliness, peace, and location were all well worth it.

Nice motel for the price. Old / retro, but very clean. Room had a flat screen t.v., microwave and mini fridge. Bed was comfortable. We enjoyed the pool in the backyard and looking at all the flowers, fruits and vegetables the owner had growing all over. There is also a grill and picnic tables near the pool. We would stay again.

I went with an opened mind, I don't usually stay at motels but I had to be at the Nexus centre(it's a 1 min drive to the centre) for early in the morning. Generally the rooms are clean, clean and newer fixtures in the bathroom, towels, and some bath products. The room is clean, however it is dated (OLD). I wonder how clean the bed spreads are, being 20+ years old? The Room had a micro and fridge both were clean and in working order.

The motel is not very sound-proof, you can hear every-word of your neighbour's conversation. Also, security is a bit of an issue. The doors do not have dead bolts, just those flimsy locks. you really have to SHUT the door to get it to lock.

Nice old roadside motel. Feels like the 60's in a good way. Very clean. Very well maintained, and the owner is very welcoming. I will stay here again if I ever come back in the area. Lots of restaurants nearby which is also nice.

The motel was simple but clean, quite retro I would say but we had a good sleep. Amenities on the bathroom for men was really nice (nothing really for women). The owner was very nice man, whom I believe is doing all the job from cleaning to maintenance. Pitty that they had no cofee/tea facility.

If you want fancy, don't stay here. If you want very clean, in excellent repair and affordable, this is the place to stay. It is almost like stepping back in time to the 50s or 60s and staying at a roadside Mom and Pop motel. The owners are very friendly! I would stay here again and again. It is in a quiet area but close to food places. There is a restaurant right next door and a Wendy's and Tim Horton's just a few buildings down. It is just a few blocks from the river and 2 minutes from accessing the Peace Bridge. In the other direction it is fairly close to places like Walmart and other stores. Highly recommend!!

We booked this motel based on TripAdvisor reviews and the proximity to Fort Erie. The owner was very nice and the room was clean and comfortable. Its located on a main boulevard. Its dated and appears so, but its being taken care of and is just the thing as long as you don't need "modern" surroundings. It turned out to be the one of the most reasonably priced things on our trip. We would stay here again. There are a number of restaurants in walking distance. We ate next door at the Artemis. Good food.
