We were in Hamilton to visit a family member in palliative care at the nearby hospital and stayed 3 weeks at the Laundry Room Suites. The Augusta Street location was perfect- just a few blocks away from the hospital with a variety of outstanding restaurants, cafes, pharmacies and well stocked little grocery stores right around the corner. Our 2 bedroom suite was excellent- immaculately clean, well equipped kitchen, super comfy bed, great water pressure in shower, and an overall very comfortable suite. The staff were extremely helpful and responded almost immediately to all our issues (needed extra toilet paper, sink drained slowly, garbage needed removal as we cooked a lot, etc.). I saw negative reviews about the location and have no clue what those reviews were talking about. We came in and out at all hours and never once had any issues with unsavoury characters en route or in the premises. It is a major city and there we passed by some unhoused individuals en route to various downtown restaurants, not near the suites though, and we did not have any negative experiences anywhere. We also had no issues with the punch code entry system, which made us feel safe (4 security points with your unique code needed at street entry, lobby entry, elevator and room door), the property is on a very chic, trendy strip. The restaurant at the lobbie level seemed busy and the restaurant host is right there near the main entrance. If you don’t get underground parking, there are several pay parking lots less than 5 minute walk away. Price was very competitive. We need to be back in Hamilton and will stay at the Laundy Room Suites again without hesitation.

Everything abut this place is exemplary. The units are spacious; the floor to ceiling windows give not only much light but also a lovely view of the city; the roominess of the unit makes one feel, and be, at home. All the amenities needed for an extended stay are in excellent condition, from washer/dryer to dishwasher. Each room in each unit is startlingly large; there is a sense of spaciousness throughout the unit. Peter, Chris and the rest of the management team were all extremely helpful and flexible as our requests changed from time to time, leading up to our 4-night stay. (There were 13 of us at a conference in Hamilton from around the globe; every one of us was delighted by the way we were served, with grace and care.)

My daughter and I spent 3 nights here while visiting family in Hamilton. The location was perfect: an easy 10 minute walk downtown and lots of restaurants nearby (Plank downstairs was a definite favourite). We received our access code at 1:00 pm on our arrival day. The building felt very secure as you needed to enter the access code at multiple points in the building. Our unit was bright, spacious and very clean. Having two bedrooms was perfect as it gave us each our own space. The bathroom was huge and included all the amenities you would need (body wash, shampoo, conditioner, hairdryer, lots of towels). The full kitchen was great and again, spotlessly clean. Our unit faced the back of the building and had a large balcony. The building was very quiet (we stayed mid-week) and we only heard a few doors closing and some vacuuming in the hallway. There is some construction next door but it didn’t start too early and it didn’t disturb us. This will absolutely be our first choice of accommodation when visiting family.

The Laundry Rooms has outdone themselves on this intriguing new location in downtown Hamilton. As a regular traveler I appreciated the self serve aspects of the booking and check in experience, right down to the pin code for the parking garage.
My unit had all the fixings of a luxury condo including a full kitchen and bluetooth speaker, it had everything! Be sure to check out the great food and drink options all within walking distance of the property.
Will definitely stay again, let's hope they open in other major cities down the road as this is the perfect non hotel-hotel I've been after in my travels.

Excellent location, in house restaurant and rooftop bar were very clean with amazing and varied food options. Definitely not your run if they mill restaurant yet priced affordably for the quality. The suite was spacious and very clean with all pertinent kitchen items, and even included washer/dryer in the toom. Although there was no one at the desk, and all was handled online, Aarmin (our on site hotel contact at the hotel most of the day) provided all pertinent information and was available just with a text to which he responded promptly, even if it was after hours. I can't say enough about this hotel and our stay. With various restaurants, markets, diners and pharmacies within walking distance, this gem in Corktown is perfect for a getaway and extremely well priced!! Aarmin had even told us at the time there was a special for booking through booking.com or Expedia which provided good savings. We will definitely be back if we are in that area again!!!

Stylish room, nice natural light - we were looking out onto Augusta - pleasant scene, lots of people about with all the restaurants and bars and the immediate neighbourhood felt very safe. Excellent value, kitchen is decently equipped, bed is comfy. We did not try Plank - looked great, will next time. Street parking was inexpensive and never had a problem parking close by.

Spent a week in Hamilton at the Laundry Rooms 2 weeks ago.
Fully furnished suites have wall to wall windows, beautiful designs and everything I needed in a home away from home.
Did not not need to change my lifestyle. Suites came with full-sized appliances, including a fridge, freezer, oven, toaster, kettle, dishwasher, pots, pans, dishes, utensils. and a washer and dryer.
Centrally Located, Clean, Friendly Efficient Service!
Fully furnished suites have wall to wall windows, beautiful designs and everything I needed in a home away from home.

This was my first experience with a self-serve hotel and while I was skeptical at the outset, the experience was super. Very organized, responsive and as good as any full-service hotel I have stayed at. Much to my surprise as well, the 'room' I booked was a small suite with open concept living, dining and kitchen space, separate bedroom and washroom. Clean and airy and fully equipped much like a vacation rental condo. We ate at The Plank, a chain restaurant in the lobby and the food, drinks and service were top notch. Highly recommend both the hotel and restaurant.

Location and rooms are great.But, After receiving your credit card information for your first reservation, they send you a separate link for a 250 dollar deposit. This issue is not mentioned at all in the first reservation.There is no reception. There is no one to give you information. Its self login.We smoked on the balcony and after we left, they refused to refund our deposit by putting the glass we smoked on the balcony into the kitchen and taking a picture of it. And there is no one you can reach. In all the messages and e-mails you receive, there is no one you can give feedback to. I called their phones many times to discuss the relevant issue. There is only an answering machine and there is no way you can reach an official person.While we were at the hotel, we saw a lady working for cleaning. We wanted to get information about smoking on the balcony. The lady did not know even a word of English. She just told us that she didn't speak English through online translation and left.

Dear Volkan, We are sorry you insisted on taking this to a public forum. As for not reaching anyone, we both know that is not true. We make our non-smoking policy, as well as our damage deposit policy very clear in all our communication. It is even spelled out on our website and associated travel sites, before you book. You also checked in after 9pm at which time there are no cleaners on site. Not sure who you spoke with, but not a member of our team. Safe travels.

We really enjoyed this innovative "hotel" experience! The two bedroom unit was spacious and immaculate, with a very well equipped kitchen and large comfortable living room. Communication from initial booking to checkout was fluid. We did choose the underground parking at an extra charge but there is surface parking in the area. Well located with a great variety of restaurants in very easy walking distance.
