The room was clean, the A/C worked eventho it was a little slow, no weird smells/sounds, pressed sheets were nice.
If you're looking to save a buck and just get a nite's rest when other nicer hotels are booked up, I would say stay here in room 115, it wasn't that bad. The front desk was very nice to me as well, they took a $20 deposit @ checkin, and they gave it back tome the next morning in cash.
However I'll stay here again in the future,
Nice tv, decent A/c and was free parking. Could use better bathroom
The room itself wasn't terrible. Seemed mostly clean. Though it was a non-smoking room, the sheets, blankets and towels all had a strong smoke smell.
Bed was hard as a rock.
All night long there was traffic in and out of the parking lot. A couple young men were in the lot all night long doing some sort of business transactions with cars that would come in for a few minutes.
I would never stay here again.
The motel was a dirty place, the people at the reception desk were obviously under the influence of some substances, they had dirty rooms that were falling apart (ceiling was broken and falling down in places, the carpets were stained and dirty), the smoke detector kept beeping all night, there were empty beer bottles in the cupboard in the bathroom, the toilet did not work, there was an unsafe window air conditioner with frayed/bare wires-a definite fire hazard, there were noisy people next door "enjoying themselves" loudly all night long, there were noisy people running up and down the hallways at 3am, our room was rented out to 2 different sets of people in one night (someone WALKED IN ON US at 4am because they were given the keys to our room!), we got unwanted phone calls from the front desk at 4am telling us to go downstairs immediately to prove that we had paid for the night- they had lost our records from when we checked in.
This was definitely not a COMFORTABLE or SAFE place to be. We left at 4:30am and went to a reputable hotel.
Never again will we settle for "just a bed to sleep in"!
Don't make the same mistake we did!
I then in my shock left and went back to the room. When I tried to air the place out, I found the windows boarded up! I would have left or complained further, but I arrived after 11pm and really had no other option; along with feeling very intimidated by the staff. The entire staff seems to be related...the younger ones cleaning the rooms make negitively comments about me as I was leaving.
The price of this hotel was only $5 less then the average standard motel. I would not go back or bring anyone else here...
Go to the bathroom, no shower curtain. The cupboard doors are falling off the hinges. The carpet is stained, and looked like dried blood.
I do not think that the second poster stayed in the same motel as myself or the first poster. This place was NASTY and should be shut down.
PS: if I happen to find the pictures I took, I will post them on here.
"I would ask for room 115. It was the nicest room in the motel, I'm sure. Remove any items from vehicle too."Read full review
