We planned a group camping for my youngest sons birthday at this campground were disappointed and left after one night. We booked our site, showed up and filled out our form at the campsites office. I named all the people who were staying in our camper, all six members of my family. The only two members who did spend the first night with us were our two older children who were working. They showed up the following day mid afternoon to join us and were refused entry. When we questioned as to why they were not allowed in, we were told that no visitors were allowed during the long weekend. When I told the office manger that my son and daughters name were on the registration form, she said that did not matter as we only paid for two adults and two children, I looked at our confirmation email and it said we paid for two adults and three children. (During booking I told them we were camping as a family of 6) They did not acknowledge their own conformation email and said that the computer said we only booked two adults and two children. We looked at a simple solution and offered to pay more for our children and they said no. The manager got arrogant and started to shout and carry on in an unprofessional manner. We eventually got to speak with one of the owners who was more professional but “overruled” by the manger who kept on shouting. The manager eventually stormed off saying she quit if the owner allowed us in, slammed the door and left. I asked the owner if she was family and she said no. Things got heated when the other owner (Doug) got involved and we were told to pack up and leave as no one would talk to his sons wife like this. No we know why she had so much rank….. We don’t understand how an error on their part was not corrected, they had their mind set and said “people like us don’t belong here” ‍️ On top of all of this, they do not follow COVID guidelines and the toilets are a 5 out of 10 in regards to cleanliness. No wonder why this place had so many spots available.

I wish I could give 0 stars....The management team at this “establishment” is deplorable to say the least and could care less about their clientele. The manager, Stephanie I think her name is,and owner Doug, both have zero customer service experience and were totally disrespectful to our family group of campers. To get respect you have to give respect and I have NEVER dealt with such unprofessional behavior with dealing with a situation that could have been solved in a basic professional manner. I would NEVER recommend this campground to anyone! Thanks for destroying our weekend. Your service was very disappointing and condescending

Nice park in general for young families because of the pool and splash pad and nice park for seasonal campers because they have the best sites; however, for the average week or weekend camper this park might be too hot and uncomfortable as there are almost no trees for shade or privacy. It felt like camping in an open farmer’s field which made the days long for us.

We have camped here with a group of families for several seasons. We liked it in the past but the park facilities are showing its age. Pool is over used and always dirty, way to small for the amount of campers. Pool area is often over capacity on weekends. The splash pad is ice cold and too cold for the littles. The bathrooms are 2 showers only for over 200 sites! Very smelly and dirty as they see so much traffic. They have good activities for kids but volunteers run it so it's hit and miss. Just over all getting run down. The park needs a bigger pool so people can actually enjoy it.

This campground is great if you have children, lots for them to do especially the water activities. Although we went as a couple we still enjoyed the park. Adult swim hour was great and we enjoyed the hot tub. The bathrooms were kept clean, showers are paid but better than some. We met several seasonal campers and found them very welcoming.

We go to Flamboro every year to camp and visit the car show on site. It’s bigger than we thought it was going to be and is a great way to spend the afternoon The kids have a great time at the splash pad and they have stinks trucks in the playground for kids to play with. We are definitely going back next year to camp

My wife’s friends organized a birthday party at the camp grounds on July 6th from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm. We arrived around 2:30 pm. We weren’t told it was a gated access area so that was a surprise when we arrived. When I entered the office to try to arrange entry, I expressed my surprise and indicated that my wife and I were invited guests. The owner’s wife became blustering and arrogant, throwing verbal insults at me as if I were to have foreknowledge of all of the details. There I am standing with $20 bill in my hand clearly visible, obviously ready to pay - but instead being greeted in such a dreadful manner. The husband then came out from the back office and started with his own insults, demanding to know if I knew what it took to run a business (yes I do as I’m retired now from my own business). The woman owner then continued with her verbal assaults and tirade and wanted me to provide my personal information for her, after all of this abuse! My trust with these people at the desk, these “owners” within this first few minutes was immediately corroded, I told her no and goodbye. After being put through the wringer for no reason I had no trust with these people at all. Insults thrown at a visiting guest, someone who is invited to a gathering at the campgrounds, this is absolutely no way to conduct customer service of any kind except the very worst kind. I do not recommend visitors to go to this campground as the owners clearly have a very bitter attitude towards guests, they are in the wrong business.

My kids and I stayed in one of the rental trailers for the May long weekend. The staff was friendly and responded promptly to our request for a new propane tank! We saw an incredible fireworks show, played bingo, and enjoyed a campfire. We had so much fun! I would definitely recommend this campground.
