With COVID, most hotels understandably did away with daily room service. However, with the worst of the pandemic over, the vast majority of hotels are still not offering daily room service on multiple night stays (unless specifically requested). However, the Visitor's Inn reintroduced the practice some time ago. It's so nice to be out all day on business to come back to your room and find the bed made, the garbage cleaned up, fresh towels on the rack, and replenished cups, coffee pods, etc. What a treat! It's what we always expected from hotels for decades but a reality that is experienced rarely today. Add to that the incredible CLEANLINESS of this hotel, comfortable sitting areas in each room, quality soaps (not those silly little matchbox sized soaps), and nice furnishings. And still add more.... pleasant staff, and a quiet environment! Enjoy. This is my "go-to" hotel EVERY time I'm in Hamilton.

Excellent hotel and accommodations. Friendly yet professional staff. Rooms were very clean, well appointed with an array of amenities.Wish the family run restaurant was open more frequently. It's nothing fancy but the one meal we had there was excellent.

Very nice rooms. We upgraded to a suite which included the kitchenette, & it was worth the extra small fee. It included a sink, stove top, microwave, keurig, kettle, toaster, dishes, etc. The TV is a smart tv, so online viewing is available if desired. The beds are very comfortable with several large fluffy pillows. The bath towels were also noticeably large, fluffy & absorbent! The front desk staff are very friendly at check-in, and there is a restaurant on site, which seemed reasonably priced. Unfortunately the restaurant isn’t open on Sunday, so we are unable to rate that experience. The only complaint is that there was food left behind the tap on the bar sink in the kitchenette (photo room 112), indicating lack of cleaning, or even a simple wipe-down, & the mugs had coffee drips on the sides, also not cleaned. But overall a recommended stay.

This hotel was really nice. Super clean. Awesome jacuzzi tub. Really fast and yummy room service. We used the hot tub downstairs which was wonderful. And the shower was heavenly. We would definitely come here again if in the area. We were only 15 minutes to IKEA.

Highly recommend this hotel. Took a chance based on other trip advisor reviews, and I'm glad I did. My family stayed one night, and the hotel and room were very clean. Left around 8:30am, and walked down the stairs (personal preference), you could smell that they had been cleaned recently. Not overpowering, just fresh smelling. The beds were comfortable and clean, and the room was nice. There was a walk in shower - no tub. (For anyone who may want a tub). We didn't have time to swim or eat there, so I have no review for that. Easy check in/out. Will stay here again and recommend it to others.

I was not sure when I booked at this hotel as this was my first time in Hamilton. I stayed 1 night for a conference at Mcmasters but found it was a little gem! The rooms were reasonable and very clean. The shower was so nice with a double head shower fixture- fancy! I went to the pool at night and it was very clean and quiet. The hot tub had lights and music and it made for a relaxing night. I forgot a personal item in my room that I needed and the staff was so personable and offered to mail it the next day. Bring food though as the restaurant has odd hours and was closed for both dinner and breakfast when I was there. Overall great little hotel at good proximity to the University.!

Everything was impressive! I am very much a hotel snob and I was so happy with this hotel. From the check in to check out! Staff was friendly. Restaurant offered great food. Bed was comfortable! Quiet. Clean marble surround bathtub and very clean. Well equipped Kitchenette! Close to airport. I was initially hesitant as I usually stick with Sheratons but anyone would be glad they stayed here. Free parking. Pool was very nice and good size. Hot tub was great. And a real bonus that the TV offered the option of signing in to apps. An option I haven’t found even in high end hotels. So this was great! Thanks Visitors Inn for a very enjoyable stay. We will be back if we fly out of Hamilton again. 😊👍

We were able to use the meeting room for our 50th wedding anniversary. It was the perfect size for the group that we invited. Steve set up exactly as we wished, and everything was ready early for us to decorate it. The staff were so friendly and helpful. we had a wonderful time and the location was perfect

This hotel offers things at a great price that outperform the other guys. Things I liked: IN MY ROOM - the spa tub, it was a dream - I got brunch and it was good. I wish they used brand name condiments though. - there was a mini fridge, coffee station and microwave - rainfall shower - king size bed - temperature control worked - robes were comfy - good wifi ON PROPERTY - good location, walking distance from lots - staff greeted me upon arrival - there were laundry facilities I believe - did not use the pool but looked like it was fairly empty most of the time Things I didn’t like or think you should be aware of: IN MY ROOM: - its by a highway so there’s road noise, if you are a light sleeper I would not recommend (I slept fine but I grew in a house full of noise) - the rainfall shower took me a long time to figure out. - THEY DO NOT HAVE USB PORTS IN THE ROOM (a lot of hotels seems to have at least one usb port built into a lamp or lock or plug to charge your devices) I had to borrow a block from the front desk. Normally I don’t pack my block due to how commonly they are found in hotel rooms - the tvs are smart but they are not all named, so most tvs in the hotel will show up. if you want to stream from your device to the tv. You can use the apps and just login on through the tv. - a bar sink in the kitchenette would be nice.

Very clean room, beds were excellent. Pillows too, only thing that I’d mention about the place (totally out of their control) it’s situated between two very busy roads, and if you get a room facing the highway, it’s very loud. You can hear the traffic very clear.
