We stayed here with friends during our weekend stay in Kingston. It is a charming old hotel located very close to the water front and old downtown core. It is walking distance. This place has 20 rooms that are all a bit different. Throughout the hotel there are nice antiques that suit each room nicely. The staff are very friendly...

Stayed here for one night recently. We were out past 11:00 but were able to get into the front door with our room key (as instructed). The ceiling in our room was about 15 ft high and the furnishings were antique. Bed was comfortable and the room was very clean. Only real issue we had was the noise in the...

I've stayed in Kingston several times, but this is my first experience staying at the Hotel Belvedere. It is an old, former residence which has been converted into a hotel, which operates somewhat like a B&B. My room was spacious and comfortable. The Belvedere has WiFi and a supposedly "light" continental breakfast, which each morning consisted of toasted English muffin,...

We stayed early July 2015, simply lovely - the flowers were out, the weather was warm and the hotel was charming. Old style, large room with private bath, free wifi, cable TV, 10 mins walk into town with plenty of restaurants, pubs and cafes. Perfect weekend!

We stayed one night at this old and charming place. You will like it if, like us, you stayed in a big old house where your grand parents lived. The rooms are big and have antique furniture. The bathroom was large and has been recently updated. The outside is in need of a lot of TLC. They will bring a...

Filled with charm and character this place has the patina of a treasured antique. Don't miss a chance to experience hoteling the way your grandparent's did. To top it off the value is an excellent side benefit.

We have been coming here for more than twenty years. Staff is super helpful, making us feel like we're part of an extended family... in all the times we have stayed never have we had a problem they couldn't resolve. Now our kids stay here - it's part of our family lore in Kingston, and they love it too. Location...

We have been coming to the Belvedere for almost 30 years. It is like coming home . Everything is exactly as you remembered. Everything is exactly right from the warm and helpful staff to breakfast " in bed" or in any one of the quiet elegant public rooms. It is our favourite place to get away . We"ll be back...

Not much to say that hasn't been said. Kind, accomodating staff. If you like a place that is older with some character, you will like this. I usually take rooms 202/203 as they are attached giving extra space and two bathrooms not to mention the great (and only) balcony perfect for a late afternoon or evening cocktail.

Through numerous trips to Kingston over the years, for conferences and visiting friends, I have often stayed at the Hotel Belvedre. It is always a pleasure, from the moment you walk in, to the comfortable rooms, to the delightful continental breakfast. Returning g to the Belvedre is like seeing a dear friend.
