The staff was helpful and friendly. Comfortable place and very clean room, exactly what we needed after long hours on the road (close to 401). They offered us extra towels. Room was very nice and quiet! Air conditioner, mini fridge, microwave, cable tv and Netflix are available. The internet connection was very good. Bathroom was clean and had everything we needed. There was no coffee machine but the place is located across the street from Tim Hortons.
Better than expected, will stay again! Thank you Hilltop Motel :)

The weather was getting worse and as I grew tired from driving, I pulled over to search for a no frills overnight stay. At just over $50, I worried about what I was getting myself into but the great reviews pulled me in. I was curious. The room was dated but very clean and the staff person at the desk was very friendly and helpful. I must say that if I ever plan on visiting Kingston by car, I’ll stay here. A great bargain!

Centrally located, budget-priced but clean, an oustanding value in Kingston. Rooms are being upgraded. Helpful staff, basically furnished but quiet rooms. We will definitely stay there for our next visit in K-Town

One night stay mid-week. Booked directly over the phone relatively last minute. Room is fine, old and worn in some areas but clean and well appointed. Air conditioner is super loud and drowns out the TV a bit. Wifi internet worked. Fridge was clean and worked well. Queen bed is fine but we are not small people and it had a bit of a dip in the middle - I assume the result of mostly single people that sleep in the middle - so my wife and I kept rolling into each other a bit. (We try to get kind beds most places for context.) Staff was friendly. For the money I might stay again but for us I might opt for two qeens. Location is a bit out from downtown if you don't want to drive everywhere but worked well for us this trip.

This is a classic older motel, from your car door to the front door in just 10 feet.
The room and bathroom were spotless clean and odour free. The bed was comfy and well made. It was very quiet at night.
Because of a mix up with Expedia our reservation was for the following month but the owner graciously found space for us anyway, even though they were all booked up.
Overnight storage for our bicycles was provided in a separate space by very friendly staff.
Highly recommended for the super helpful service and room quality.
If we ever come back to Kingston (what a lovely place) we will stay here. They know their business and treated us well.

We were happy to find a reasonably priced motel for our one night stay in Kingston. The room was very accessible and clean. It was helpful to have a fridge in the room. Beds were comfortable and it was very quiet, except for the odd train whistle in the distance. Office staff was
very efficient and helpful.

Stayed here for 1 night on way to Montreal. Superb value for money. Fridge, TV and very clean. I accidentally left some medication in the fridge and had to return to collect. The owner couldn’t have been kinder . Very impressed.

I stayed there for one night as a stopover from Montreal to Toronto (visiting from Brazil). I highly recommend it. The management was super nice, the room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. The location is also very good in a midpoint between downtown Kingston and the large retail stores and supermarkets. Wifi is also very good.

We called to inquire about a room a day before our arrival in Kingston. The person who answered the phone assured us that a room was available for the day of our arrival and because of our unusual early arrival time (6am) we can buzz upon arrival to be taken care of. When we arrived we decided to have breakfast before heading to check in thus giving the staff sufficient time to awaken. When we arrived we were now told there is no availability furthermore when we had called a day before our arrival the motel was fully booked but the person on the telephone had neglected to mention this. This was absolutely ludicrous and incredibly deceptive. It is a great thing that this motel is located on a street with other hotels/motels (where we then subsequently found accommodation) or else we would have been out of luck with finding other accommodations. For this deceptive business practice I rate this motel incredibly poorly.

Your basic room, with all the necessities. Comfy bed, fridge, TV, A/C... with a Tim Horton's across the street. What more does one need for a place to rest after a day's motorcycle in the rain? Service was great too!
