I have stayed at the Whitney Manor 7 times and struggle to find anything to complain about. I discovered it in the early days of COVID when we couldn’t go anywhere but desperately needed a change of scenery! As each unit has absolutely everything one needs, you just have to bring your food and drinks and enjoy a peaceful get away. The manor has been beautifully restored and each unit decorated beautifully. It truly is a step back in time but with every amenity available to you and shopping so close; and being minutes from downtown Kingston you can enjoy the best of both worlds! If you go once, you’ll be a returning customer for sure! The housekeeping staff work very hard keeping it looking immaculate, as do the grounds staff. Always an enjoyable get away!
Beautiful location and a gorgeous building. It was perfect for a girls getaway. It was exactly what we needed. The suite is well equipped and beautiful. It is a great retreat and just a short drive to Kingston.
My two sisters and I spent two nights at the Manor to celebrate my mom’s 80’th birthday. We rented the Whitney Suite. It was such an incredible experience to be able to stay in a home over 200 years old. It has been so well maintained and so elegantly decorated. We are already planning our next trip!
Such a wonderful getaway! We have stayed at the manor multiple times over the past 6 years and every time it has been a fantastic, quiet, private escape for the weekend. We love the fact that each suite has a full kitchen so we can make our own meals. We will be back again.
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our romantic weekend. This was our second time at the manor. The last one was in 2017 with our two boys. The place is beautifully renovated and ideally located. This time we stayed in the Greystone suite. It is perfect for a couple. Even our Havanese, Riley, enjoyed her stay. The extra touch of dog bowls and bones was very much appreciated.
We rented three suites for the weekend of our daughter's wedding for extended family and friends. Everyone loved the accommodation, beautiful setting and being able to be together but with "space". Super convenient for the wedding venue at Fort Henry and for downtown Kingston and all it has to offer. The weather was glorious and set the scene perfectly. Truly a hidden gem.
Whitney Manor never disappoints. The furnishings, building and surroundings are second to none. We have personally visited 4 times and sent friends and family as getaway gifts 2 times -- all since May 2020. The management is warm and professional. The maintenance/cleaning staff do impeccable work. It is our go-to place for a perfect getaway from Ottawa. We have discovered the beauty of the Kingston/Thousand Islands area thanks to Whitney. We are gradually making our way through the suites and planning a family stay with a group of suites, hopefully this winter. Thank you, Rob, Liz and team!
We stayed at the Whitney Manor while in Kingston for a family wedding and chose the Whitney Suite as it would accommodate 5 of us. The suite was beautiful! Stunning living room, large and well equipped kitchen with spacious eating area and very comfortable beds. One of our favourite features was the very large veranda which had space for us as well as other family members who were also staying at the Whitney. We wish we had had more time to relax and enjoy the manor. If you're looking for somewhere special to stay in Kingston, head to the All Suites Whitney Manor.
A perfect place with all of the amenities of home. A kitchen, washer/dryer and a beautiful view of the St. Lawrence River. The location is peaceful but close enough to Kingston and Downtown and the beautiful waterfront.
We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay for our wedding! We appreciated the fast responses to calls and emails, and the willingness of the Whitney Manor's owners to arrange with our florist to have our flower order dropped off and brought up to our suite prior to our arrival. We were also able to arrange an extended check out. My bridesmaids, Mom, and I got ready in the Sopwell Suite, which was spacious and had all of the amenities we needed. There are so many beautiful locations for photographs, both inside and outdoors. My husband and I did our "first look" right out front! Thank you so much for everything and we hope to come back one year for our anniversary!
