Built over two centuries ago, All Suites Whitney Manor is one of the most historic and luxurious inns that Kingston and the 1000 Islands has to offer. Our stylishly decorated suites combine historic 18th century architecture with modern-day luxuries and conveniences, rivaling that of any five star hotel. As a self-catered accommodation, each suite acts as its own luxury apartment offering guests a chance to relax and enjoy their stay in a setting that offers so much more than your typical shoe-box size hotel room. Each suite offers a fully-equipped kitchen, a spacious living and dining area, a private balcony or patio, in suite laundry, and so much more. Located alongside the scenic St. Lawrence River, we are just a short drive away from downtown Kingston where you'll find some of the area's top tourist attractions, restaurants, and shopping outlets.

Three of us recently rented the Whitney Suite in this beautiful historic home that has been converted into rental suites.

Less than a 10 minute drive from city center, the price was extremely reasonable.

The kitchen and sitting area were very large and had every convenience. The living room was equally large and very comfortable. The two bedrooms and bathroom were also nice.

The neighbourhood was quiet and charming.

Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here far more than we would have in a hotel.

We’re a family of 4 and stayed in the Chapel Suite. With its own separate entrance and the impeccable cleanliness, we felt very comfortable that we were able to enjoy a few days away while still following current Public Health guidelines. The premises are beautiful and has everything we needed even to cook a Holiday Meal! Definitely recommend!

The Penthouse Suite was very cosy and well appointed. The private balcony was such a beautiful addition as we were able to observe a passing storm while remaining safe and dry.

The historic property was was beautifully decorated featuring exposed wooden beams and stonework.

Overall, a relaxing place to enjoy a quiet weekend.

I reserved the Whitney Suite over the Family Day weekend in celebration of my wife's 60th birthday. We had originally booked a trip to Cuba, however, COVID had other plans. My wife and I can honestly say out time at the Manor was better than 2 weeks in Cuba.

The Whitney Suite is spacious and accommodated the 8 of us more than comfortably. The kitchen is truly a chef's kitchen and was fully equipped for any type of cuisine, I really didn't need to bring anything except food and drink. The dual fridges and gas ranges were a God send.

The overall amenities were truly above average.

For such a large suite it was warm and comfortable the entire weekend and although there were other people in the manor, we did not hear any noise.

The check-in and check-out process was contactless and went very smoothly.

My wife and I are already contemplating a return visit sometime in the summer.

Since spring and moving to Stage 2, we, and another couple, have escaped for several different weekends away and have looked to stay in various Suites in Ontario with a full kitchen to avoid restaurants during the Covid quarantine stages. We have sought out many other Suites that were perfect but none were as beautiful as Whitney Manor.

The Manor has been beautifully restored with solid Stone walls and tastefully decorated with a fully stocked Kitchen***Fully Stocked with excellent pots, pans, glassware and utensils*** and each unit has a private patio. The Manor is situated just outside of Kingston in a nice quiet neighborhood and you are still extremely close to the St. Lawrence. At night, the stars are massive and plentiful. In the morning, sipping coffee and having breakfast on your private patio is peaceful and relaxing without the hustle and bustle of any city noise. All the attractions in downtown Kingston are only 10 minutes away.

We had the 2 bedroom Chapel Suite, two large upstairs bedrooms, very comfortable beds, 2 bathrooms, a very large kitchen, a living room and of course the nice outdoor patio. Privacy is amazing, we did not see or hear anyone else even though there are 5 different Suites available in the Manor.

We will definitely be back!!!! Possibly in the Penthouse unit, lol.

My husband and I celebrated our anniversary in Kingston and stayed at the gorgeous Whitney Manor. This was our first time there and didn’t quite know what to expect. We were blown away! The manor from the outside is stunning and the gardens impeccable.
We chose the Penthouse suite because it offered the only balcony view of the St. Lawrence. The suite itself is gorgeous, a mix of traditional and contemporary and looks like a something out of a magazine. The suite contains everything you need, was comfortable and felt like home. Each morning we sat on the balcony and watched the sun rise over the river while enjoying our complimentary coffee.
The Whitney Manor is definitely one spot we will return to in the future.
The only downside if there was one would be the 2 flights of stairs. We didn’t have a problem with it but I can see how some other guests might.
All in all a wonderful time.

We stayed in the Greystone Suite. It has a lovely feeling with limestone walls and wood beams.
There was a family with young children next door and we could hear a lot of stomping for hours so it wasn't so peaceful.
The bedroom is way too bright in the morning. There are no blackout blinds and since it faces east, it's like you're in a lightbox starting at 6am. The bed was comfortable though.
We also enjoyed the large jacuzzi tub in the room.
The only bathroom is upstairs and doesn't have its own ceiling. I much prefer a closed bathroom that is an actual separate room.
The private patio was lovely to sit and have breakfast.
The check-in process was easy.
We wouldn't stay here again.

We stayed at the Penthouse suite of Whitney Manor for 1 night in June 2020. The property is situated in a quiet neighbourhood only minutes from downtown Kingston. There is dedicated free parking on site. The check-in process was easy; the suites have electronic locks and Rob was available by phone if we needed anything. The penthouse suite is at the top of the building and there 2 flights of stairs, but this was clearly communicated beforehand. The building is majestic looking from the outside, and nicely updated on the inside. The suite is large, with a nice sitting area, a dining area, kitchen, bathroom, and large bedroom. The unit has air conditioning, as well as in suite washer and dryer if needed! The kitchen is nicely equipped with all the basics. One of the highlights was the private patio off the sitting area, with a beautiful view overlooking the Saint-Laurence River and Milton Island. The unit was spotless, nicely updated inside but with the historic feeling preserved. Would definitely recommend staying here – perfect spot for a peaceful getaway only minutes from downtown Kingston!

This was the perfect place to stay during our relocation to Kingston. The top floor suite has a small kitchen and a private terrace with a view overlooking the river. We appreciated how the interior design integrated the history of the building. Contactless check-in offers privacy and suits the current pandemic situation. We enjoyed our stay and hope to return in the summer when it’s warm enough to spend more time on the terrace.

This is a wonderful historic house which is made up of large suites. My suite had a large sitting room that included a small kitchen (complete with anything you need to cook with), a wet bar, large screen TV, wall to ceiling fireplace, and two large windows to see out to the beautiful property. The large bedroom had a extremely comfortable king sized bed and beautiful artwork on the walls. The large bathroom had a separate shower and deep bathtub. This place is so peaceful and relaxing! I'm very excited I found it because I will definately be staying here again when I come back to Kingston.
