My husband and I stayed at the Duck Pond B&B for 4 days, and what a great place. It is exceptionally clean (one of the cleanist places we have ever stayed) The breakfasts were delicious and with them being in the fridge we were able to enjoy them when we got up. (we are early risers) We visited both Point Peelee National Park and Peelee Island while we were there, and both places are amazing. I would highly recommend the Duck Pond to anyone looking for a place to stay while in Leamington. Thanks Marjolein and Aad

We had an excellent 3 night stay while we explored Point Pelee, Pelee Island and local wineries. Duckpond B & B is much more than an average B & B. It is a fully appointed, private and cozy cottage with everything you need to relax and enjoy your stay. The self catered breakfasts were amazing and we loved that everything was prepared and ready for us. This allowed us flexibility on when we wanted to eat. It was exciting to get back to the cottage and see the yummy treat Marjolein had left on the table - as well as an amazing assortment of home made breads and jams to accompany breakfast the next morning. Rumour has it that Aad had a bakery in Leamington so you can imagine the quality of the baked goods! She even provided ziploc bags to take any leftovers for snacking on later. The cottage was immaculate and organized. We enjoyed sitting on the patio and watching the Purple Martins, geese and ducks - it was a very serene atmosphere. You can tell Marjolein and Aad put there heart and soul into their B & B and we feel very fortunate to have stayed there.

We enjoyed our four night stay at Duck Pond B&B. The cottage was immaculate with all conveniences -- Marjolien and Aad have thought of everything to make their guests' stay pleasant. We agree with all previous reviewers that the breakfasts and treats are both wonderful and plentiful. We brought our bikes to explore Pt. Pelee Park and they were stored safely in the garage when not in use. Close to the park and a perfect launch pad to explore Leamington, Kingsville, Colchester, and Amherstburg. A bonus at this time of year are all the road-side stands and markets. We definitely recommend and are looking forward to the next time!

I booked this amazing B&B after searching multiple platforms for the best stay in the Leamington/Pelee area. I saw that Duck Pond had the best reviews on Facebook, Trip Advisor and Google so I made my decision.

Our trip was just my husband and I who are from Toronto and wanted to get away and relax for the weekend. Marjolein and Aad were very reasonable when I had some booking issues and accommodated use when able.

The property is incredible. Ducks, chickens, patio, BBQ and a firefly show at night! the cottage was extremely clean and had a very updated and comfortable washroom which I ALWAYS appreciate. The food was amazing and after a long day out we were so happy to see a small lunch time snack waiting for us as we did not have time for lunch.

I would HIGHLY recommend this B&B to others in the future who want a relaxing, romantic and unique accommodations.

Very nice, clean and comfortable cottage. Way beyond my expectations. I love how private it is. We loved enjoying our coffee and breakfast, the homemade bread was outstanding, on the private patio listening to the ducks and the purple martins. Close to point pelee park and the ferry. Town is also close with good restaurants. I highly recommend the Duck Pond for your stay in Leamington.

Yes, there are many rules in place for the safety of the owners and guests during the pandemic but they had NO impact on our 3 night stay. You are on your own for making the extremely comfortable bed, doing up your dishes from the amazing breakfasts and snacks, taking your garbage to the bin outside the cottage and, if you want, you need to tidy up the bathroom yourself. Yes, some of the decorative touches (throw pillows, throws) have been removed but that only emphasizes the cleanliness and makes sanitizing easier. Since we are always self sufficient none of this was an issue.

As always, Marjolein and Aad are welcoming hosts and we enjoy catching up. Aad allowed us to assist in his weekly count of the Purple Martins and we saw newly hatched babies which we really enjoyed.

The grounds are beautiful and our favourite thing is sitting on the private patio watching and listening to the birds, ducks and goose. It is so peaceful and relaxing.

Highly recommend.

We are returning customers, and have loved the Duck Pond. Marjolein and Aad have been wonderful hosts. It is spotless, and the breakfasts are gourmet delights, with afternoon snacks (also beyond delicious) thrown in. We love being the only ones there, and the tranquility and beauty it offers.

It has truly lifted us up!

Our 3 night stay at the Duck Poind B&B was exceptional. The food was prepared for breakfast so we could enjoy the fresh baked goods and hot breakfast whenever we woke up. The place was very clean and it could easily accomodate more than 2 people. Note that the second bed is in the common area if you have a larger group. We didn't cook during our stay, but the kitchen has everything you would need and there is a clean BBQ on the back patio. We enjoying mornings on the patio watching the birds and enjoying our breakfast.

It is refreshing to stay at a B&B with such excellent service and food. We don't get to the Leamington area very often, but this is our new place to stay when we visit. The hosts are amazing and when we arrived they had an excellent list of recommended activities in the area and the restaurant they recommended was awesome.

The first thing we noticed as we arrived on the property was the beautifully landscaped grounds and peaceful setting. Marjolein and Aad were welcoming hosts and we appreciated the informal tour of the cottage and grounds. The cottage was cheerful, comfortable, very clean and was supplied with everything we needed and more! One could certainly cook in the well supplied kitchen or use the grill on the cozy outdoor patio. Based upon earlier reviews, we chose the breakfasts that the hosts prepare and leave in the cottage and refrigerator with instructions to warm and eat at your own convenience at the beautifully set table. The breakfasts were delightful! Point Peele National Park is a short drive away and a gem to visit. We also took a drive along the lake and stopped at Pelée Island Winery in Kingsville and Crew in Harrow. We even learned a new skill, towel folding art, from one of the DVD’s in the living room. Thank you Marjolein for taking notice! Our only regret is that we didn’t stay longer. Without a doubt, we would return to the area and stay at Duck Pond.

My wife and I booked the Duck Pond B&B for 2 nights while we bicycled Pelee Island, the accommodations were the highlight of the trip! The cottage was separate from the owners home on the property so plenty of privacy. The space was incredible, one of the best B&B's in recent memory. Full kitchen, full bathroom, great living room space, and awesome bedroom with king size bed. The bed was very comfortable, all linens were clean, towels were plush and wonderful. There were rules in place for Covid, it made us feel very safe. We also met both owners for a short talk, they were very knowledgeable about the area and offered great suggestion on places to visit. Now for the breakfast.. just WOW, I don't want to give details as I don't want to ruin any surprises, but be prepared for some mouth watering meals. Food was excellent and there was lots of it. It's very evident that the owners care for the place and the people visiting. Thank you for the exceptional stay, we will be back, next time to explore Point Pelee National Park.

I would like to stay at your place in 2018 hopefully for a week. I would like to be there when the Purple Martins are most active. We need a King size bed if possible and Kitchenette. Just 2 people. May or June

Hello patandviv, Thanks for asking. The B&B cottage will be all yours, no other parties will be sharing. So yes, the bathroom is private. Did you check out our website as well? I hope you will be making the trip to Leamington.
