Hotel very clean, Room carpet you can walk in without shoes. It shows their pride in keeping the property. Reception very friendly and proud of showing the rooms. Hotel had a very reasonable rate with others in the area.

Kids got hot tub rash after used the swimming pool. It doesn't clean and sanitize regularly. Needs water quality monitoring to let guests understand the status before used. No control on no.of guests inside the pool maybe another issue which easy get the pool water dirty.

All of the staff we encountered were absolutely wonderful and were very helpful at accommodating our needs. The room we stayed in was recently updated and very clean. Would definitely stay here again.

I was in tourism over 20 years and Lady A has to be in the top 3 front desk clerks I have ever met! From my initial phone call to enquire to check in and after ...above and beyond in customer service! The hotel has redone some of their rooms, best bed ever! Lady A called to ensure my room was satisfactory along with afterwards we chatted about what to see and do which she marked on a map for me along with info on Amhurstburg the hotel had provided. She even gave me a Cardomon tea bag after our chat which was a lovely drink and gesture. I hope she trains future staff and is given the highest accolades from her employer along with Wyndham management. I also like laminate floors as it is easy to see if clean and if you drop anything easy to find. Glad to see carpet gone! The hotel is set back from the road for a quiet peaceful sleep - I didn't want to get out of the bed in the morning as it was so comfortable! I wish I had the time for a second night there! Alas I hope to return !…

When we arrived, we were greeted by an extremely helpful and welcoming front desk clerk. We accepted a room on the main floor because it was recently renovated. Note that you pay considerably more for that. The room was clean (no carpet which we wanted), bed cozy and everything we needed. The breakfast on the other hand was disappointing. There was no staff monitoring the food and cleanliness. It is only open until 9 am and was packed when we arrived around 8:15. The hot food was already gone and the OJ was watered down. Cup after cup went in the garbage. Didn't try the apple juice. Again, no staff monitoring. The little bit of hot food we did get was luke warm at best and not very good. Shortly after, the front desk clerk arrived to reload the bread and microwave more eggs and hashbrowns. That was the most disappointing part of the whole stay. For what we paid, I think they could have had a staff person in the room at all times. There was certainly enough to do and clean.…

Brand new jacuzzi suite was great and a sparkling clean pool and hot tub. I was told that the first floor was just redone which is where I stayed and it was clean and modern but I cannot speak for the second floor rooms. It was better cleanliness and quality than many higher rated hotels I’ve stayed at!

We were here for HOGS for Hospice on the Friday night of the long weekend and the place was SPOTLESS and the front desk folks were great! We never heard a sound in the hallway or the room and the hotel was at capacity. Could use more sitting benches outside on busy weekends. Thank you Gus and Partner!
