The Lamplighter is a great place to stay! The pool area is amazing. The rooms are clean. It is unfortunate that breakfast is not included, as many families stay at this hotel due to the super awesome pool. The hotel restaurant could be considered expensive, but many alternatives are close by.

We dined with my sister & husband from our of town. Both the food & service were excellent. We especially enjoyed the Robot serving the food and taking away the dishes at the end of our meal. It is so cute !! We live nearby and have enjoyed dining here many times ~ you should consider giving it a try !

This was the nicest and cleanest Best Western that I have ever been in. Go Canada!! They really had pride into the their hotel. Everything was top notch and the pool area was beautiful. There is nothing bad that I can say about this hotel.

The WIFI signal is poor, sometime inexistant. I couldn't even use my cell phone data because of the weak signal. I would not go back to this hotel for business purpose because internet is essential to me. For family fun, I highly recommend it. The Atrim is great and my family loved it. I recommend a room with balcony facing the Atrim. The hotel cleanliness is highly commendable.

Short get away with grandkids who very much enjoyed the pool and water slide. Of course the little arcade was also a hit. Would definitely plan a longer stay next time. Found the 4 pm check in a little late however that was our only negative.

We stay here every time my daughter requires a surgery at the local hospital. The humidity from the gorgeous atrium soothes her throat after surgery. The staff is always helpful, respectful and kind. The beds are so comfy with so many useable pillows. The rooms spacious and clean smelling with no lingering “clean” smells. We are scent sensitive. The balconies are roomy with great views of the atrium. Aside from the stresses of surgery recovery, this hotel is awesome!

We had an amazing night. We were supposed to get the fireplace suite 2 person jetted tub ! We were given a complimentary upgrade to the jo honeymoon suite as the suite we had reservations on was now not available. The upgraded suite had a seperate livingroom and balcony just no fireplace. It was a beautiful room. My husband and I really enjoyed the pool area at night its even more breathtaking to walk down and look at the real palm trees and the lights with the waterfalls and rocks. The Atrium is breathtaking as well. Real coy fish pond. Staff were more than pleasant ! Manager was able to approve our reservations without a credit card Only had cash or visa debit! I was pleased to read although there was an issue with the original room reserved, Management provided an upgrade to our Honeymoon Suite and the suite was enjoyed. I was also pleased they waived the credit card requirement so you could enjoy your special getaway. We couldn't agree with you more. The atrium here is a spectacular area filled with many great amenities. The atrium features a large indoor pool, hot tub, games room and for the adventurous, a roaring mountain waterslide. Guests can find themselves surrounded by lush gardens, real palm trees, waterfalls and even a large koi pond. The indoor atrium here definitely gives our guests a tropical sense. The atrium holds a large indoor pool, hot tub, waterslide and so much more. Our guests can find themselves surrounded by the lush gardens, waterfalls, koi ponds and even real palm trees! In the warmer months, the glass roof slides back to the open sky above creating a warm breeze throughout the area. When the palm trees start to sway this really gives off a tropical sense. I called in to make the reservation 15 minutes before arriving to the hotel. I booked a room with king bed and double jacuzzi. When I got to hotel they said they didn't have any of those rooms left and had to downgrade me. I asked for late checkout at the time, was told he can give me till 12, but to call in the next day to see if they can do till 2 and they would do it. Well next day they said they would charge me for late 2 pm checkout. After screwing my reservation, you really are gonna charge me for a late checkout. Not to mention the total bait and switch. I was reserving 15 min before I got there, you didn't know this room wasn't available?! Also I love the fact that they said that the other room would be cheaper. Dear Relax40832625995, Thank you for completing the survey regarding your recent stay at our property. I would like to start by apologizing for the overbooking error on the room style reserved. While they do not happen often, overbookings can happen on room styles. Staff do their best to try to correct overbookings but if they are not able to they will advise the guest of what occurred and provide a discounted rate for the inconvenience. While guests are more than welcome to request late check outs, these requests can be made the day of departure. Staff need to see how busy the hotel is, how many early arrival requests we have, etc. We try our best to fulfill all guest requests but unfortunately there are times we are unable to. Guests are welcome to order take out from the restaurant on site and dine on the top of the atrium but we do not have staff that will bring the food to you in the atrium. This is not a service we offer unless it is a special event offered by the hotel and are properly staffed for it. I apologize for any miscommunication you may have received. Your satisfaction is important to us and we will be using the feedback you gave us to implement improvements to ensure we offer a better experience for guests in the future.
