Hi kb10821, Thank you for taking the time to leave a review on your experience at the Best Western Plus Lamplighter Inn. We are happy everyone had a great time in the pool and the games room too! The Lamplighter Inn offers our guests an indoor pool, hot tub and waterslide all enclosed under a retractable glass roof. Guest's can choose to relax in the tropical atrium surrounded by lush gardens and a koi pond listening to the tranquil sounds of the waterfalls or for the more adventurous, take a ride down the mountain waterslide. There is something here for everyone. My apologies though you did not enjoy your restaurant experience and can understand this would be disappointing. Our goal is for our guest's to enjoy everything about the hotel from the amenities offered to the service provided. I do hope when you stay with us again you would be willing to give them another chance. So many guest's dine there and leave having had a great experience. Thank you again for completing a review. We stayed 1 night to avoid bad weather for an appointment,, the hotel, staff and everything else was extremely amazing for the price.. location was fantastic,, restaurant onsite was awesome ,, parking was terrific and close to elevator.. would certainly recommend for any sort of adventure,, the pool area looked extremely fun if traveling with children (I don't believe it's fully open during the week) but it certainly was full of family fun

The employees were super helpful, the room and amenities were very clean. Our family just loved the pool and waterslide, the kids spent hours there. The restaurant inside the hotel was good and it was convenient. We can't wait to book again.

The tropical atrium holds an indoor pool, hot tub waterslide and more all enclosed under a retractable glass roof. I went here with my family. The kids had a blast and so did we. Our view from our balcony was amazing, it made us feel like we were at a resort. The pool and hot tub were clean and awesome and the slide was incredible as we used it many times. The whole place was very neat and clean and we had a wonderful time. We will definitely be back.

We stayed 2 nights in one of the family suites. The kids had a blast the whole time, and loved the pool. There were only tiny little things that I would consider annoyances, but nothing that stopped us from enjoying our stay. The staff was great as well. Highly recommended

check in was scheduled for 4pm, we didn't receive our room until 730pm. we have a toddler, it was very inconvenient. staff were very nice at front desk and said reason for delay was lack of cleaning staff. yet our room was not super clean

We had a great 3 night stay between Christmas and New Year's. This was our second time visiting the hotel. We were there for a couple of nights in June for my grandson's birthday. Both my grandsons love the the pool and water slide. We all thoroughly enjoyed the atrium and our balcony. We ate all our meals in the restaurant/bar. The food was great and reasonable. It was busy at times but we weren't in a hurry. The staff handled everything with pleasant good humour which we appreciated. I would like to make special mention of Kate on the front desk. Guest's can choose to relax in the atrium while being surrounded by lush gardens and palm trees listening to the sounds of the tranquil waterfalls or for those looking for an adventure take a ride down the roaring mountain waterslide, swim in the pool or enjoy the hot tub. There is something here for everyone! In the summer months when the weather is warm the atrium roof slides back to the open sky above creating a warm breeze throughout the area. Stayed here with our two kids, ages 10 and 12. I'm sorry I didn't discover Lamplighter sooner. It was so much fun, and very clean. We ate at Shelly's twice and while service was a bit slow, the food was great and prices reasonable/ same as if we had ventured out for off-site restaurant. We will definitely return.
