Travelled to London as granddaughter was in hospital there. Stayed one night and after learning we’d be in London for another night investigated availability at hotel daughter stayed at earlier in week. Much nicer room and great amenities for less than 1/2 price. Also offered shuttle to hospital!

The Ramada Inn website's pictures couldn't be further from the truth. This hotel is showing it's age, you get that impression upon walking into the lobby, and further when you get to the room. The lobby's and room's furniture is old and desperately needs replacement, reminding me for all the world of a cheap motel off the freeway in the middle of nowhere. Upon checking in I was told I needed to give them my credit card for a $100 security deposit. No one mentioned this to me ever when I booked the room, but it was reversed the next day when I checked out. Although I called the hotel directly days before my arrival and was informed that the dining room would be open until 9pm on my Sunday check-in, the front-desk clerk told me I was mistaken, that the dining room was not opened and had not been opened for some time. She directed me to various restaurants in the surrounding area. This especially did not please me as I didn't plan on leaving the hotel until the morning. My room was on the second floor and I had to lug with difficulty my heavy luggage up a long winding staircase. Being a senior this was very difficult, having to stop every 10 steps. No one at the front desk appeared eager to come help me although they watched my progress. Then my room seemed to be miles down this corridor which had an odd, musty smell. The one good point is that the room, although seemingly run-down and having an odd "old" smell, was very clean and the bed comfortable. On the downside, there weren't any cups or even a glass to drink from. Luckily I had a water bottle otherwise I would have had to drink directly from the tap. There was not a coffee-maker as described on their "amenities" section on their website. The air-conditioning control was difficult to master so I gave up. All in all, it was a terrible experience and I DO NOT recommend this hotel, especially at the prices they charge. I have told everyone on my tour group about my experience and told them to tell all their friends too. A big disappointment to say the least.

The hotel is very outdated. I wouldn't mind that so much if it was at least clean. Our room smelled awful, had dirty pillow cases and uncomfortable beds. Way overpriced. $350 for a room with 2 double beds, and breakfast was not even included. The only upside was the friendly staff and the pool.

The room was clean and the water pressure in the bathroom was good. We had problems with adjusting the air conditioner, but this was an easy fix. The staff were efficient and polite. The parking lot was safe and accessible. Thank you
