My husband and I just got home after spending four nights at Towneplace Suites in London. We were in town for my mother's funeral. I am grateful that we chose this hotel because it was just what we needed. The staff were compassionate and professional. The hotel has been refreshed inside and out. Everything is clean and new, including furniture in the lobby and all carpets. There was an army of cleaning staff meticulously going over every square inch of the hotel. I saw a housecleaning staff member getting into every nook and cranny of the fitness room equipment. Another staff member was wiping down every single spindle of the staircases. Breakfast was different every day and the staff members in charge of the food made sure everything was replenished. The parking lot tarmac and lines have been repainted. The entire grounds were neat and tidy.
It is my pleasure to share praise for this hotel. I know it will be out first choice the next time we need to be in London.

TownPlace Suites by Marriott London was conveniently close to the highway exit and near many dining choices. Check-in by Becca was smooth and we were able to be upgraded to a suite, which was wonderful. The bed and room were very comfortable and clean, with a great shower. The suite included a full kitchenette with cooking utensils, and a separate area with office and second TV. Unfortunately, we missed the breakfast (weekday ends at 9 am) but Faye in the kitchen was kind to get us some muffins and enough other items to satisfy our needs. My single disappointment with the room is that it did not contain a safe. All in all, I would certainly book this hotel, especially for an extended stay.
Note: The entrance to the hotel is easy to miss, even with GPS. Turn in at the Shelby's restaurant entrance and drive to the rear.

The location is close to the highway and several other hotels. The staff was friendly and there was lots of parking. Rooms were very large, bed was comfortable and it was easy to get a comfortable temperature (I prefer it cool). Although it appears to be updated from it's past it does still have the feel of an older hotel. Nothing I can put my finger on, just a feeling. There is an included breakfast although limited compared to what other Marriotts offer.

I DO NOT suggest staying at this hotel, I was in the mandatory quarantine in Canada once I arrived, after finishing my quarantine in Toronto - crowne plaza - which was okay.
I came to TownePlace hotel, the front desk man told me about the instructions for safety measures and said you can workout for one hour per day alone at the gym.
The day after, I asked the front desk about what time can I book the gym, the supposed “general manager” left the desk all the sudden and came to me in a very intimidating manner and aggressively telling me “this is the last time I’m telling you, you should not come out of your room, otherwise I’ll get you out of the hotel”
This mockery of a customer service is beyond to be funny.
Utterly pathetic eh?
No professionalism nor decency was found.
He didn’t even know what his employees instructed me, however, I checked out today and booked another place and I’m taking further legal action and cams are there in the lobby.

Good Morning L2614FJmohameda, I would like to address your concerns that you had at the hotel. When you checked in, the info on the system said that you were here to quarantine for 11 days and you had confirmed to three employees that you were. I have spoken to the Front Desk Representative that checked you in and he said they had explained to you that you must remain in your room but can go out for fresh air for a few minutes and then go back directly to your room but wearing a mask doing so. The Middlesex Heath Board which directs all movements of this Covid-19 Pandemic in the City Of London will always put the guests and staff's safety first, as you have checked out of the hotel and moved to another to be able to walk around freely you have broken the strict guidelines set out by the Middlesex Health Board which I will be reporting to them this incident. Our hotel unlike other hotels we have remained almost sold out every night. With this being said we have a strict policy at the hotel because of the amount of guests that we have staying with us. In the morning you were walking around the inside of the building and you were wanting breakfast and we said that we would deliver it to your room. During that conversation the Operation's Manager explained to you again the policies about wondering around in the hotel and you again confirmed that you were here for a 11 day quarantine. Later that same day you came out of your room, and again, was at the front desk asking for a key for the fitness room. That is when I saw you for the second time, and again, explained to you that if you were wondering inside the hotel again that I would ask you to leave the hotel and if you were not willing to leave on your own that we would have you removed by the police department. Booked a stay here over the Labor Day weekend. Requested a crib for small child in advance. Hotel advertises full breakfast as well.
Arrived with two children, with bags in-hand and all. There's a XXX massage spa neighboring the hotel. Most of the lobby is cordoned off with yellow tape. Front desk says no cribs are available, supposedly due to Covid. No hot breakfast either, supposedly you get a "continental" breakfast which consists of a fruit and a granola bag.
Front desk kindly referred us to another hotel nearby, Staybridge Suites, where both crib and hot breakfast was provided. We ended up paying the exact same price for 1-bedroom suite and enjoyed our stay there.
Filled out Marriott email survey and the manager, David, reached out to me for feedback. When I provided feedback about my experience, he did not bother to reply and address the issues I experienced. Posting this here to hopefully prevent another family with a small child to go through the same bad experience.

On behalf of the entire team at the TownePlace Suites By Marriott London Ontario, I sincerely apologize for falling short of not only meeting your expectations. In respect to the crib's at this hotel we have stopped giving them out at this time due to Covid-19, once we all have a handle on Covid-19 we will restart the crib request. At this time due to Ontario Provincial laws we can not have a hot breakfast buffet so the hotel has to ensure that all guests can and will be safe, because we can not provide the full hot breakfast buffet we have the to go bags. The breakfast area that is quarantined off to guests but will soon be reopening with a program in place for breakfast. Please if you could re-email me the email that was sent, for some reason I have not received it, when I receive it I will be more then happy to respond to the email. Rooms were ok. Clean ,bathrooms had a nice size showers, kitchen had a stove top for cooking and dishwasher , microwave laege fridge, 2 queen beds, tv etc. Hotel was under Renos so main floor was mostly all taped off , not a big inconvenience other then the entrances that would be closer to our room, were unavailable because of the Reno so we had to walk in the front entrance all the way to the furthest room in the hotel. The gym was good. Good quality equipment. Treadmills with tvs, bikes free weights, cable weights, exercise balls, etc. Breakfast was not great , powdered scrambled eggs, sausage wasn't good. Had toast/begals yogurt, juices, coffees, waffles etc. Pretty good place to stay for the $$. Better breakfast food would be nice.

Stayed overnight. Kind of hard to access from road…driveway full of potholes. Problem with checkin, room not ready. Hotel offered 24/7 coffee, tea, hot water. Lots of unattended children running around. 1 elevator only. Room was clean thou floor kind of sticky. Breakfast was good with very pleasant and efficient attendant. Overall the property was clean and well maintained however was on the “tired” side. Would recommend to all.

The hotel was good as expected for the most part, but the area felt a little bit unsafe and it looked like some of the people from the area were spending time in the hotel parking lot and elsewhere on the outside premises belonging to the hotel. I believe the hotel staff / security could and should have done something about that. Making things worst was a lot of construction going on (August 2020) in the nearby intersection. Bonus points for Tesla chargers in the parking area.

Poor choice. Check in was not available when I had requested it. Towels were not refreshed daily. Only every other day. I was not informed about this as I booked online. A new pile of towels were delivered after I called. The ice machine on our floor was not in service. We had to go up a floor.

The hotel was clean and the staff were friendly.
Everyone was accommodating. Kids had fun at the pool and water slide.
The rooms were clean and the kitchenette was very useful. The even had air fryers and other mini appliances to borrow.
Definitely recommend.

We do not have a pool or spa tub, we do however have a brand new fitness centre, with lots of equipment to use. There are also several fitness clubs nearby.
