My one night stay in London required me to find a room before a big winter storm was to hit. Being so close to the highway was a bonus to get going quickly in the morning. The staff checking me in and when I checked out were polite and full of smiles. The room was very clean and I had a very comfortable King-sized bed, which surprised me so that I actually slept in. There wasn't a clock in the room which had me not knowing the time and I left later than I had hoped. I had q quick breakfast in the dining room which was perfect. There was quite a large selection of breads and basic items for free but no peanut butter, which I really wanted! I'd gladly stay there again and will recommend it as a budget alternative for a short stay.

It was ok but wouldn't stay again!
Carpets had been steam cleaned which is great but we're still soaking wet. Made the room very humid and the temperature outside that day was 36 Celsius. Tons of people drinking and partying throughout the night which made it uncomfortable to bring the dogs outside. No fun in the bathroom. Positive..huge king-size size was very comfortable!

This is my second time staying at London Travel Inn. It's one of the most affordable places to stay in London, Ontario. Great location, friendly staff, comfortable room, hot shower, walking distance to shopping. The Indian couple that own the London Travel Inn do a good job keeping the place clean and secure. What my boyfriend and I liked the best about London Travel Inn is that it was quiet and peaceful.

Had to bring husband to London for organ transplant. It was last minute, so had no time to make arrangement for overnight accommodations. After trying a few places, this hotel had a room. When I arrived at approx 10 pm and was checking in, there was a young man who was either high on some kind of drugs or had mental illness walking around the lobby with toothpaste in his mouth, looking for water. The front desk clerk guided him for water. I was a bit leery, but very tired from my 600 km drive. As I was completing the check in process, same young man was walking around front of hotel talking quite loudly to himself. I told the clerk I could not stay here and I was frightened, He assured me it was safe and he would walk me to my room. Just as we were proceeding to stair the young man ran towards me, yelling something, and then past me, into a room down the hall from me. No again said I wasn’t staying and wanted a refund. Was told,no refunds after check in is complete. Room was ok, and I did sleep. Got up in morning and no coffee machine in the room.
Would not recomment especially to females travelling alone.

Wow where do I begin? When we entered the hotel we weren’t greeted for check in, the lobby appeared dreary and dark, I looked for a vending machine to get some water but the machine was empty. Staff was not friendly and barely spoke to us. When we entered our room it didn’t look, feel or smell clean. Decor is completely outdated, carpets and curtains looked dirty, curtains were broken, bed did not look fresh. Pretty sure the covers had not been laundered. Vanity was located immediately upon entrance at the door yet the bathroom was around the corner and very tight to enter. Tub was clean so we placed all our bags into the tub. Although we didn’t see any signs of bugs we were worried there could easily be anything in the room as it didn’t look like anyone had cleaned in a very long time. The coffee maker still had a used coffee pod inside of it. We couldn’t wait to leave and check out. At checkout the staff did not even ask if we enjoyed our stay….probably didn’t want to hear our answer. Sorry, nothing good to say about this place and would never stay here again.

Spent Christmas with family at motel. We had a jacuzzi suite room. What little hot water there was took 10 minutes to get warm. Not hot enough for baths or jacuzzi, was a waste of money for us. Tv did not work, motel phone did not work, no alarm clock or coffee maker in room. Was accused of smoking in room when we certainly did not. Did not appreciate being accused of lying as we are not a bunch of teenagers etc. Said they could smell smoke but did not find any evidence....I said cause there was NO EVIDENCE to be found as there was NO SMOKING !!! 20 bucks extra per night per pet, 200 cash deposit as I don't have a credit card...even though I use my credit/debit card all over the world as a credit card with no issues. Not happy with treatment or lack of basic essentials in room. Will not be back

This is a clean, budget, two storey hotel in a safe and convenient location. On check-in, the hotel had not received our internet reservation from the hotel chain website. The clerk explained that he should have received our reservation via fax from their central headquarters. I had to return to my car (passing by 6 hotel patrons drinking beer in the parking lot) to retrieve my confirmation number -- otherwise, it seemed he couldn't access the computer system. The room type we had ordered -- "King size bed" was unavailable, so we were given a 2 double bed room on the second storey, at the same price. The check-in experience was awkward but the clerk was polite and became more personable as we talked. If you have lots of heavy luggage, beware that there is no elevator. The room was clean and in pristine condition with a small microwave and bar fridge. The linens were adequate with two ok pillows. Washroom was well-stocked with budget shampoo and conditioner -- it is advisable to bring your own. Carpeting in the 1st and 2nd floor hallways was heavily stained -- this hotel must generate a lot of sloppy traffic. Complimentary continental breakfast -- in a lounge off the main lobby -- was spare. Stale muffins, good danishes, toast, tea, coffee, orange juice, no cereal available. Food supplies looked somewhat depleted at 7:45 a.m. The hotel is relatively new --they were sodding the surrounding grounds the next morning. This is generally an OK hotel for those on a budget. We paid $65, including tax and while it provided ok value for the money, we probably would not return here.

We arrived at the hotel on saturday, november 25,2006 the place seemed okay and everything seemed to be going right. We were traveling from Kentucky so we were exhausted and couldn't wait to get some rest. After checking in that day, a little later I went to go ask for a few towels and the front desk clerk said "Don't you have enough towels in your room?", I was shocked by their reaction and how horrible their service was. A little later I had 2 guests coming over to visit me, after 15-20 mins of hanging out in my room without a noise complaint or any disturbance of any sort, the front desk clerk came by the room and told me that I had to tell the guests that they HAVE to leave immediately if I dont pay him extra money. Overall the service at Country Hearth Inn & Suites Ontario was Terrible and i will never go back there again. I would definitely Never Recommended to anyone. I was very dissatisfied.
