Our room is beautiful and great, we stayed in a King Suite with separate bedroom. It’s spacious, and has 2 dressers and a closet which is great for our clothes because it is a long term stay. As well as having 2 TVs is great. Full sized fridge and dishwasher. They sanitize everything in your room when you first enter, and have all the dishes in the dishwasher prewashed for you. The stocked kitchen is minimal, but it does the job. I bought things like a cheese grater and a pasta strainer. The dishwasher pods are a little cheap quality, so if you want to bring your own, I would do that. But they’re free! So can’t complain! They do scheduled cleanings for you if you’re long term, so you just let them know when you want your room to be cleaned.
Everyone just puts their garbage in the hallway when their bin is full, I’m not sure if that’s what the cleaners want, but no one told us so we followed suit. Sometimes it stays in the hallway for awhile and will smell. As well as the cleaners leaving everyone’s garbage in the stairwell beside our room and it smells so badly, and that’s the stairs we use to get to our car because it’s closest to our room. Sometimes the bags leak and will sit there for 24 hours.
The walls/floors are very sound proof, it’s rare we ever hear anyone, and it’s usually when people are in the hallway. The beds are comfy, but the comforter is a little thin, and scratchy, so we brought one from home because we are here for a long time.
Staff is overall great! Debby at the front desk is awesome, she’s very personable, makes us feel welcome and comfortable here. She is always there when we need her. Thank you to Debby
Laura K is the Monday-Friday breakfast server. She is always positive and smiling in the mornings when we go to get our breakfast. She makes each morning a great one! Thank you to Laura

Checked in for 2 nights at the Homewood Suites in London and I have to say the service and hospitality was absolutely phenomenal. When we checked in we were greeted by extremely friendly staff, all of the front desk hosts were extremely nice, polite, and professional. I also appreciated how the front desk hosts were wiping off each kart after someone used it for transporting their belongings from their car to the hotel room. It adds an additional touch to how well the staff is not only following but going beyond the Covid-19 protocols. The room was extremely clean as well and all of the dishes were in the dishwater, everything look freshly wiped down, the remotes were wiped down as well, the room was so clean my wife and I decided to leave a tip for the maid. Honestly if you have to travel for business or pleasure I would use this hotel because they bring Covid-19 Protection and Friendliness, but as well friendliness to entire new level. If management sees this, do me a favor and reward your staff for all of their hardwork, whether its by giving extra paid time off, or an extra amount of their pay, or even ordering in food for your staff. They all deserve to be recognized for their hard work.

Stayed here for two weeks during a business trip and found the accommodations to be comfortable and the staff to be welcoming. The rooms were extremely spacious with a full kitchen and living room, and the breakfast buffet was a great way to start the day.
Only drawbacks were some loose fixtures / closet doors in the room itself and the pool was closed for servicing during the entire duration of the stay.

Room was spotless. Seemed quite well equipped for an extended stay though we only spent the night. Units like the one we booked, where the bedroom is a separate room, are terrific - you can put young ones to bed, close the door and stay up doing something else without disturbing them. There are separate climate controls for the living and bedroom areas. The HVAC in our unit was great, simple controls, and if not whisper quiet, certainly quieter than many hotels I've stayed at. Beds a little soft for my liking but comfortable. We didn't take advantage of the breakfast but I'd assume it was decent, on par with other "free" breakfasts at other hotels. Swimming pool was a bit cold for my liking, but certainly 'refreshing'. Had to book a swim session as they limit #'s, but we had 45 minutes to ourselves. Front desk staff were courteous and helpful. All around a very decent stay.
Wifi? Worked well.
Location? Handy to shopping on the Wellington strip, as well as hospitals. A 15 minute drive into the downtown.
Only negative ... specifically our room (200) was opposite the elevators with garbage/recycling kitty corner. While we weren't bothered by noise, it probably can be an issue sometimes.
I'm sure this hotel would meet the expectations of most people looking at a 3 star hotel stay.

Overall, it was a good stay. The desk staff and breakfast staff were welcoming, accommodating, and pleasant. Check in and check out no issues. Pool was ok, clean, saw staff check water quality at least once. First room unacceptable due to smell of cigarette smoke or vaping. Second room was better. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Was very clean, though I suspect the carpets in room and in common areas be deep cleaned or totally replaced. Free breakfast was ok. Kitchen in room could have been better equipped- asked for and received kettle for room. No frying pan for cooking, though a small and large sauce pans were provided. Television has basic cable-Smart TV would be better choice. Hotel is located close to the 401, so convenient that way.

Ours excluded breakfast just simple breakfast but we upgraded and paid the difference … the guy in the restaurant was so pleasant kind and friendly …. The room was very nice 2 queen size beds

Ive been coming here since last year end of March beginning of April and since then I dont go to any other hotel. All staff are super friendly from the ones who first worked here and the staff now. I stay here for weeks when I come here. Rooms are always clean and the kitchen comes with all the necessary items you need if you want to have a home cook meal. The cleaners are always attentive if you need something changed or fresh clean towels or supplies. I honestly have no complaints about this hotel this is like a second home to me when I come here 😊

We showed up for our reservation and were told our room, that was prepaid and booked online weeks prior to our arrival, was no longer available, sold to someone else. They sold our room to someone else that we already paid for and were trying to check into. Terrible, what kind of scam is this? I will absolutely be letting everyone I know about this awful experience to prevent anyone else from booking and expecting to get the room you purchased. We were shocked to be told we were "lucky" they still had other rooms available, not even close to what we had purchased. Somehow it was our fault they were fully booked and they had to resell our room. Do you think they will refund us the room we didn't get that was sold to someone else and paid for by two separate parties? No, they apologize and offered useless points towards the next stay? When we looked into what the 5000 points were worth we couldnt even use them anywhere need a min of 60,000 points for a night. Why would I risk booking with this hotel again after this experience. So very disappointed!! And they won't even make it right. Honestly 1 star is more than I'd like to rate them as they don't even deserve that. I didn't know a hotel could legally sell your room to someone else when you booked and paid for it online. Imagine being met at reception with "oh we are sorry sir, but your special room you pre-booked and paid for months ago, is no longer available. ?

This was our first hotel stay since COVID and I definitely won’t be rushing back. We booked this hotel because the website said the pool was open, there was nothing to tell us before our stay that the pool was closed yet we arrived to a sign that said “out of order” on the pool. We would have chosen a different hotel had we known. We arrived to a sticker on the door saying that the room had been sanitized. I noticed a smudge on the mirror in the bedroom which should have been my first indication of bad house keeping. But we were hungry so we thought nothing of it and went to get a bite to eat. When we got back we were ready for bed. I opened the pullout couch to set up my son’s bed and found crumbs, a giant bobbypin and a dirty fitted sheet. Add that to the dirty dishes in the dishwasher, no coffee or disposable cups in the room, the small black curly hair beside the bathroom sink and the communal paper towel roll (there should not be shared items like this during covid) and we called the front desk. There was no manager on staff on the weekend and they said because we booked with points that there was nothing they could do for us except bring us coffee and cups. After that phone call we noticed blood on the pillowcase in the main bed. So disgusting. In the morning we specifically asked for the manager to call us on Monday. We’ve heard nothing. A follow up call today (Wednesday) and the person on the phone said they saw that someone took notes but didn’t know why it wasn’t handled. She took more notes and said someone would get back to us. Do not waste your time at this hotel, literally anywhere else would be better. So disgusted and disappointed (we work hard to get our points, it’s equivalent to money so I’m not sure why nothing can be done).

The hotel is a short drive from the campus on Commissioners rd. Depending on traffic it can be anywhere from 10 to 20 minutes.
