We are close to many corporate offices, restaurants, shopping, the city center and airports, and are ideally located an equal distance from Toronto to the east and Windsor to the west. The Hampton Inn London Ontario hotel features 92 guestrooms and suites including king guestrooms, two queen guestrooms, king sofa rooms and one accessible room with two queen beds. All guestrooms at the Hampton Inn London Ontario hotel include a coffee maker, mini fridge, full size iron and ironing board, lap desk, desk level outlets, 43-inch HDTV with on-command movies, working desk and ergonomic chair. As of April 1, 2019 all guest rooms will be newly renovated with brand new desks, chairs, tiles, carpet, wall coverings, telephones and much more. We recently spent the night with another family. We had a great stay. I want to comment on the staff. I don’t remember the last time I encountered such a lovely group of people. Every staff member we came across was so kind and seemed happy to be there! I don’t have a specific story…they just made it enjoyable. I highly recommend!!

We stopped here overnight on our way across Canada and were happily surprised at how nice it was! The bed was insanely comfortable and 4 pillows 2 soft 2 harder to get you the comfort you needed. We had a desk and a chair, a relaxing chair, a mini fridge, and the glass enclosed shower was huge. Honestly it was just so nice to have a clean, quiet stay. The hotel was fully booked with a youth sports team or two and you’d never know from how quiet it was. The pool was pretty small but we didn’t have time to go swimming anyway. The breakfast bar was great it was better than some of the other hotel breakfast we’ve had. Tons of options and fresh fruit. The scrambled eggs were cooked perfectly and they included shredded cheese to add on which is awesome. I’ll 150% return to this hotel on my next trip thru Canada.

I was impressed by the cleanliness of my room and the effort hotel staff took to make my stay comfortable. Plenty of towels and such, coffee maker, microwave and a fridge too was sweet. Brown bag breakfast during COVID was adequate and actually above and beyond what some higher priced hotels are serving. Overall decent stay and I’d stay again. The only chair in the room was an old upholstered office chair which I chose not to use during this pandemic. Perhaps a vinyl or mesh chair could be a better choice.

Cons: Hallway noise filters into room big time. I didn’t get the rate I signed up for as I used digital key and didn’t show my AAA/CAA card for discount. Thought it wouldn’t be needed as number is displayed in my Hilton profile. It’s just a cash grab on their end. Finally hotel is next to a motel6 which seemed to have a lot of unkempt scary patrons loitering outside. I moved my car to a better lit area near the front doors as I was a bit concerned 🤷🏻‍♂️

I had a last minute change to who was traveling with me and this person is highly sensitive to perfumes. As soon as I found out, I called the hotel with my concerns and was assured that no scents would be used in the room prior to our stay (other than cleaning supplies with minimal scents). I was afraid it might still have a lingering smell but there was NONE! I was very surprised to find the room did not smell like anything! My guest and I were able to stay without issue. This person isn’t just allergic to scents but in fact, can’t think properly and doesn’t have the best decision making skills after being exposed to scents. I had to rely on this person to be their best as we had a long return trip home and it was really nice not to have to worry about her during the stay. There was no scents in the room and I want to send a HUGE thank you to this hotel for accommodating our needs. It is really nice to know that we can rely on this hotel in the future if we need to. Clean & comfortable room, helpful & friendly staff as well. Overall, highly recommend this hotel for everyone but especially those who have sensitivity to scents.

This hotel was great. The rooms were clean. The building was clean. The staff were very friendly. Very pleasant atmosphere. There was a lovely and very comfortable place to sit and gather with friends in the lobby area. The hotel was booked solid, but yet we didn't feel like we were crowded. The kids had a great time there as well. There was a pool and gym available for the majority of the day. We would definitely stay there again. The price was very reasonable. We were able to get a group rate and this helped alot, especially with travelling there and having to pay for meals etcetera. There was also a continental breakfast in the morning, which was fantastic and fed the whole family nicely. Overall our stay was great!

As this was our first hotel stay during Covid 19, we were a little unsure how things would be. We were pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness and the safety protocols set up by Hampton Inn by Hilton London. The complementary breakfast was arranged in such a way that no one other than the staff was able to get near the cooked food which was provided to each customer in a very safe manner.

Room was very clean, but A/C unit was very noisy when trying to sleep at night.Two sets of towels in the bathroom was a plus. Was glad to see COVID precautions in place (i.e. mandatory masks when leaving your room and limiting number of people in the buffet area).

this hotel charged our hockey tournament over $2000 yes over $2000 for hotel rooms we were not allowed to use. We had an issue with our tournament - run excusivley by volunteers, and had to cancel a block of rooms 3 weeks before our tournemant. The hotel manager WOULD NOT accomodate us in any way, she went ahead and charged 12 families the full rate for 1 nights stay. We were not allowed to use the rooms, they would not reduce the cancellation charge nor would they issue us a credit for rooms they would sell. ALL THEY WANTED WAS THE $ and to resell the rooms. So, while they made $2200 from our association, we will spread the word and never use this hotel again for our tournament.

Good Day Sarah, Thank you for your candid review. I do understand your frustration with your group being charged a cancellation fee for a group block that was revoked by your team 2 weeks prior to arrival. We do wish we could accommodate each and every cancellation request we receive, but unfortunately, that is just not the case. As you did not book with the hotel directly, we were informed by the third party company you had secured your accommodations through that the tournament had made an error by accepting your team, as your division was not permitted to play in this tournament. As this was an error caused by the tournament you were participating in, the tournament had agreed to cover the cancellation fee for your team. Your group contract had stated a group cancellation policy of 30 days prior to arrival, and was required to stay a 2 night minimum. It is hotel standard to enforce a 2 night minimum on weekends where we have an extremely high demand in the city due to tournaments or other events. As the group had withdrawn 2 weeks prior to arrival, your cancellation fee per room would have been 2 nights room and tax. However, we had made the exception to only charge 1 night room and tax as a courtesy to the team and the tournament who was covering the charges. We do try and be as flexible as possible when it comes to changes and cancellations within each block. We also do negotiate the cancellation terms upon agreement of the block. These cancellation terms and conditions were put in place by the tournaments accommodations provider, the company you booked your group block with. Staying at a hotel during Covid would have been nerve wracking, but the experience I had at the hotel was amazing. All of my questions were answered by the General Manager Kara; she made a normally anxious experience calming. She was invaluable at easing any concerns and ensuring my stay was a good experience. The cleanliness was stellar, the staff were professional and extremely accommodating. The room I was staying in was spotless. The customer service was exceptional. The front desk staff were phenomenal. Ken, Tim, and Dulce working at the front desk were more than helpful. The training the staff have is beyond what I expected any hotel to have. The availability of breakfast was great, their Covid protocols did not affect the quality of the food being served. The stay overall was one of the best I've ever experienced at any hotel. Whenever I am in town, this is the hotel for me.

My sister and I travelled to London for a family emergency at University Hospital. They offered us a lower hospital rate. The staff on the front desk were so kind, caring and genuinely wanted to help make our stay as comfortable as possible. They were actually training a new staff member when we checked in. We noticed that the staff member who was training the new woman was very calm, caring and patient with the new trainee while we were being checked in! Very impressed by the respectful and friendly atmosphere of the hotel. Well done!

Good Evening Keely C When staying with us at the Hampton Inn London; vaccine’s are not required to stay, they are only required if you are looking to use the pool, fitness room and the lobby once our breakfast service closed.

The hotel is currently adding a guest laundry room, and the renovation is nearly complete. We anticipate the guest laundry room being open to guests as of June 2021.

You are probably 10 km from downtown. Go north on Wellington from hotel to downtown. Train station is on York St. which is downtown. Hotel is near the 401.

Good Evening Jacquie M Breakfast coupons are not required at the Hampton Inn London Ontario. With Hampton Inn Hilton our breakfast is included with all our rooms to all registered guest.
