room was clean bed was comfortable but had to get up and shut down the heat and vent system, lobby bar served very good food from a limited menu with prices consistent with the Greater Toronto Area , WIFI was strong and fast. Most hotels now have USB ports in the room Hilton should look into this Counter staff and parking folks all did a fine job. Stop in here a least one time a year on our way south and it isn't getting any better lots of money spent on the lobby but not on things like heat and vent or USB ports

Despite physical distancing and facility closures, the staff were super. Friendly, efficient, and willing to try to make the stay easier. Recently renovated room, the housekeeping people really showed they were cleaning extra to limit the spread of the pandemic. Had to have a beer in the lobby as bar was closed. Have never seen the hotel so empty b/c of Covid-19

I'll share my experience, overall the room was good, some rooms have an amazing view of YYZ take offs and landings if you're into that, others just face the other building and offer little view at all. Staff that I saw were friendly although not really helpful.
Pros
Right at YYZ airport
Clean & Quiet room
Reasonable parking cost (at the rear outside)

Cons (My Personal Issues regarding my stay)
No working fire alarm in room ( just the wires hanging from the ceiling)
Digital key opened exterior doors but not room door
Lack of amenities in room ( 1 coffee pod. 1 shampoo, no spare toilet roll etc.)
Gated parking license scanner wouldn't let me out & was seeking payment even though parking was billed with my room. Had to ring for assistance each time I exited and again after checkout)
I paid $60 XTRA for a premium room upgrade, I feel cheated.

During this world health crisis you would think Hilton staff would go the extra mile to ensure things were in order.

If just passing throught Toronto enroute to your next destination, or getting out ahead of a storm - the Hilton has you covered. Newly renovated top to bottom their dining and lounge will set you up for a food night’s rest before early morning flights. The shuttle runs on the half hour to the airport terminals.

We rented a King Corner Room for a couple of days in Toronto because we had an early flight out and wanted to be close to the airport. The proximity to the airport can't be beat, there is even a shuttle that will take you from the hotel to the airport.

Our room was large, clean and well appointed. We had a coffee machine and decent coffee with to go cups to make our own coffee to take to the lobby for our morning flight out.

The hotel has a decent gym.

We had both the breakfast buffet which was mediocre considering the price and a dinner at the restaurant which I was satisfied with.

This hotel is close to the airport which means it is not close to Toronto, we took Lyft to the city and the price to go to the ROM was around $40.

Dear Jenn F, Thank you for choosing our hotel for your stop over before taking a trip leaving from Pearson Airport. I am pleased that you found the proximity to the Terminal ideal making your departure seamless. Very pleased you made mention of our newly renovated corner suites and upgraded in room amenities in line with full-service Hilton Hotels. Thank you for taking advantage of our fitness centre. We have recently installed a salt water pool with a retractable roof for those great sunny summer days we know are soon on the way. Thank you for commenting on the value for money of our breakfast buffet. We have launched a new dining concept called Mosaic and are pleased to accept any feedback with will allow for us to service our guests in the best possible manner. I hope you had fun at the ROM; it is funny how many locals don't take the time to see the attractions I look forward to seeing the new exhibits myself. Stayed here for the first and last time. I felt very uncomfortable. Knowing we are living through a worldwide pandemic with COVID-19 and seeing maskless people everywhere is very crazy. Large groups of people, no masks in sight. The hotel had a sign at the front saying "mask required beyond this point” but people are allowed to wander without a mask? I couldn’t believe it! Surrounded by questionable people all night and into the next day. The swimming pool was very dirty. The hallway on my floor hadn't been vacuumed at all. The scariest thing was a gooey substance that was on the elevator button when I arrived, which was still there when I left! During Covid?? The rep at the desk in the morning seemed uninterested in helping me, and as people walked by without a mask, rather than following the rules which the hotel signs say are in place, he looked at them and then put his head back down. But to make things all better there was a sticker on my door to remind me how clean my room was, what a joke, I chuckled and rolled my eyes when I saw it. I travel a lot, for both work and pleasure and this was the first time I felt I should review a hotel. Stay somewhere else for your own safety. Don’t think twice.

At the Hilton Toronto Airport Hotel & Suites we take the safety and security of our guests very seriously. We adhere to the by-laws set by our government and make sure to inform all of our guests upon entry to our hotel, and ask them to wear masks at all times in public enclosed spaces. I am sorry that you did not feel comfortable whilst you stayed with us, and please be rest assured we will be talking with the team member who was working on the desk to ensure he is always informing guests of this by-law. It is quite concerning to ready that you felt the hotel was not at high a standard of cleanliness we hold our selves to here at our hotel. Please be ensured our hotel is trained on the CleanStay process which we implement not only in our guests rooms, but also in all public areas. I have messaged you directly to follow up so that I may find out exactly which areas were not up to standard so that we can follow up with any team members who need to be refreshed on our cleaning procedures. We weren't planning on staying overnight in Toronto, but an ice storm forced us to spend a night there after our return from Mexico. Hotel was close; rooms were great. Only concerns were slow service at the restaurant and having to pay $20 for a parking fee.
We were able to book 2 rooms with an online booking service, which reduced the price considerably. If it hadn't been reduced, I'm not sure I would have stayed here. $300/night/room is a bit much, in my opinion.

We stayed at this hotel for a night after returning from a vacation. It was cold, very late and we were exhausted. The Front desk clerk saw our fatigue and asked what he could do. I said “the quietest darkest room please”. That is exactly what he gave us... the room was spotless, quiet and darks. The bed was so comfortable-with the fabulous Hilton pillows, We woke up too late for breakfast but it was a great night’s sleep. What more can you ask for?

The best thing about this hotel is the proximity to the airport and the airport shuttle.

I've stayed at this hotel before and everything I'm there something goes wrong.

Bad beds, poor hot water distribution, terrible service, and check in staff that do not record your Hilton Honors points. This is a property that needs a new operator or should become a corporate property. Customer service only exists in the restaurants and catering team, you won't find any at the front desk.

I can appreciate the frustration when having so many issues during your stay I am sorry that you arrival was not seamless and that you experienced issues with your bedding and shower. I am sorry that you found the service at the front desk to align with your expectations. Our hotel is known to the experience that we are able to provide and can appreciate how removing your Honors perks and recognition of your tier can impact your stay. When reserving with Hilton is it important that you reserve direct as Honors memberships are not able to added to 3rd party reservations. I can appreciate the expectation however the benefit are only provided when booking directly with the hotel. It is important to me that you maintain your tier and receive the service that you expect when staying at one of our hotels.
