An elegant retreat in a historic urban setting, situated in the heart of the idyllic Credit River Valley on a lush 2 acre site, the historic Glenerin Inn & Spa provides the backdrop to make any occasion more memorable. We are 35 minutes from downtown Toronto, yet you will feel as if you are a world away. The Glenerin Inn & Spa is ideal for your wedding, corporate meeting, Sunday Brunch, Timeless Afternoon Tea or overnight getaway. The Glenerin Inn was built in 1927 by Mr. William Watson Evans, a Toronto lawyer, as a summer home for his family. Since then it has had many uses from an English residential girls school during WWII to a recovery home for employees of The Simpsons Company. In 1986 it became an Inn and has hosted guests both local and from afar since then! We look forward to hosting you and your guests and being part of your special memories.

My daughter and I went for spa and relaxation weekend. The inn and spa were very clean. Norman the guest services manager is very friendly and professional. The inn has a lot of historical charm. We enjoyed our weekend.

We booked this place for a 2 night stay to attend a friends wedding. Turns out the room had bugs, big brown bugs that were climbing the walls. We checked out after only one night and found a clean place to stay. The customer service was horrible; they did not apologize for the issue, they acknowledged the housekeeper found the bugs but were arguing whether or not they were cockroaches, they reluctantly refunded my stay and were ignorant and implied I was trying to get a free night stay. Most definitely never going back, not recommended.

My family selected this property based on reviews and the website. It is located in a good area, close to many restaurants and stores, our stay was disappointing. The room we had was the luxury suite, with two small rooms. There was only one television. The beds were very comfortable. We traveled with my mother, who is a senior. The room did not have any bars in the bathroom (toilet area) or the shower which did not make it safe for seniors or people with disabilities. The receptionist on the evening shift was not very friendly. When I asked for an extra blanket, he paused and appeared put out. I told him to never mind, but he went and got me a blanket. I called a week ahead to book a cot for our room. The cot was not there when we checked in. I had to call 3 times to ask for it. About 9 pm, I went to the front desk, and the male receptionist informed me that the bed was on the second floor (there are no elevators) and he would not be able to bring the cot until his assistant showed up at 11 p.m. at which time, members of my family would already be in bed for the night. He asked me if my nephew could help bring the cot to my room. I complied as we wanted to turn in for the night. The hotel needs updating, some of the floors in the hotel were creaking, and I felt like I would go through the hardwood floor. The stairs were also run down and the stones from the stairs were loose. We won't be going back or recommending this property.

Brunch at Glenerin Inn was a wonderful experience. The menu is extensive with roast beef, salads, Pasta, rice, breakfast breads, good dessert and overall large delicious selection. The staff is attentive and friendly, always ready to help. The Inn is cozy and charming, the tables are well laid out. This was my second brunch here with friends. I had visited 5 years ago and glad to see that the level of service and quality of food is still high. I look forward to visiting again the summer

My parents and I stayed at the Glenerin for two nights (Christmas and Boxing Day). We really enjoyed our stay. Glenerin is dapper and has a lot of charm. It was beautifully decorated for the festive season! We stayed at room 108. It was a luxury room with two queen beds, one bathroom and a seating area with a gas fireplace. We were very comfortable. We used the seating area to play board games. The beds were comfy and we slept well. The rooms are also equipped with Apple TV. The service was excellent. Everyone we interacted with made our stay special. The guest services manager, Norman, was very pleasant to deal with. The food was exceptional. We truly enjoyed the Christmas dinner buffet and the a la carte menu on Boxing Day. Compliments to the Chef and his team! Overall we really enjoyed our stay and this was a great stay-cation!
