Detailed Reviews
Glenerin Inn & Spa has been newly renovated and the decor is beautiful! The lobby is now chic and modern with rustic touches and the dining areas are elegant and quiet - perfect for a romantic candlelight dinner.
We had the pleasure of experiencing the Bliss Package with the Honeymoon Suite which is large and beautiful! The bathroom is one of the largest I’ve seen at any hotel and the huge shower and deep soaker tub is fantastic (just remember to close the blinds). There was a mini fridge, sitting area and comfy king size bed. The extra plush bath towels and premium imported linens is an extravagant touch!
We stayed during the week (Thursday & Friday) so it was quiet and peaceful at the Inn. On weekends there are a lot of events so weekdays are definitely more relaxed.
The serenity of the spa was exactly what I needed after a long busy week. I loved the warmth, lighting and tranquil music. One of the best couples massages we’ve had!
We ate all our meals at the Inn so I tried quite a few things on the menu. The food was delicious, my favourite was the Spinach Agnolotti, Insalata Caprese, the Chef’s Special Indian Curry Bowl and the Warm Apple Crisp with Ice Cream (the Berry Cheesecake is good too).
The friendly staff went above and beyond to make sure our stay was memorable. Glennerin Inn is exceptional!

Brunch at Glenerin Inn was a wonderful experience. The menu is extensive with roast beef, salads, Pasta, rice, breakfast breads, good dessert and overall large delicious selection. The staff is attentive and friendly, always ready to help. The Inn is cozy and charming, the tables are well laid out. This was my second brunch here with friends. I had visited 5 years ago and glad to see that the level of service and quality of food is still high. I look forward to visiting again the summer

My family selected this property based on reviews and the website. It is located in a good area, close to many restaurants and stores, our stay was disappointing. The room we had was the luxury suite, with two small rooms. There was only one television. The beds were very comfortable. We traveled with my mother, who is a senior. The room did not have any bars in the bathroom (toilet area) or the shower which did not make it safe for seniors or people with disabilities.
The receptionist on the evening shift was not very friendly. When I asked for an extra blanket, he paused and appeared put out. I told him to never mind, but he went and got me a blanket. I called a week ahead to book a cot for our room. The cot was not there when we checked in. I had to call 3 times to ask for it. About 9 pm, I went to the front desk, and the male receptionist informed me that the bed was on the second floor (there are no elevators) and he would not be able to bring the cot until his assistant showed up at 11 p.m. at which time, members of my family would already be in bed for the night. He asked me if my nephew could help bring the cot to my room. I complied as we wanted to turn in for the night. The hotel needs updating, some of the floors in the hotel were creaking, and I felt like I would go through the hardwood floor. The stairs were also run down and the stones from the stairs were loose. We won't be going back or recommending this property.

First, typically I do not write reviews as I work in customer service and I know first hand how unfair they can be in a lot of cases. With that said, I feel my criticism below is warranted.
We could not have been more disappointed in our choice to stay at the Glenerin inn. We chose this inn as it looked like a relaxing rustic-type getaway for my wife and I. We were fortunate enough to have the grandparents watch the kids for a weekend so we decided to make the most of it.
We stayed in room 206. It was the smallest hotel room we'd ever stayed in. Not the biggest deal though since it's an older inn. However, the room had not been cleaned or dusted in what seems like, years. The walls were covered in dust which was plainly visible upon entry (images attached). The walls had enough dust on them that we could've written "Clean Me" on them as if it was a dirty car. Clearly, no one took the time to check the cleanliness of the room prior to our arrival as no one in the hospitality industry would think that was acceptable.
More, the vanity and light fixture in the bathroom was also covered in dust. The air filter under the heating unit looked as though it had not been replaced for years and was absolutely caked in dust and dander. We refused to walk on the carpet in bare feet as it also looked filthy. If the walls were that dusty, then who knows how much dust had built up in the carpet since it was last vacuumed.
There was black mold in the shower which wasn't surprising considering the fan in the washroom didn't work. There was only a small head-sized mirror in the entire room. But worst of all, the mattress was severely concaved towards the middle which made for one of the most uncomfortable nights of sleep in memory. My wife and I both had sore backs in the morning (we're in our 30s and don't have back issues).
Luckily, we had dinner and evening plans so our time in the room was limited. Otherwise, we likely would've checked out and gone home.
Upon making the front desk staff aware of these issues at checkout the next morning, we were quickly dismissed. The lady didn't address any of our concerns and then she even had the audacity to say, "sorry, our stays usually include breakfast, but your booking doesn't qualify" as if to rub it in our faces that we got a bad deal or something - really strange. Luckily for us, after seeing the cleanliness of our room we had already decided this was not a place we wanted to eat.
On our way home, my wife and I both agreed that it was a terrible experience and that we would not be staying at the Glenerin inn again. Far too many good options in the Mississauga, Oakville, and Burlington areas to waste money on a stay that made us wish we had just stayed home.

Supposed to be a romantic night out. I could write 5 pages… here are the highlights…
After checking in… room dated (water stains on the ceiling, paint chipped, half the front of a draw in bathroom came off in my hand etc)
tv didn’t work (apparently no to fix it).
No coffee pods for the machine, they were out.
**Restaurant closed, no room service.
Offered an upgraded room and a bottle of wine to compensate…. We were in a king suite in the tower - replacement room two queens and we could have gotten anywhere. Never got the bottle of wine.
Manager not there either days.. so we were told. Charged full price, until as we were walking out I mentioned my profession… 30 minutes later got a call in the car.. front desk informing us we would receive $50 credit on our credit card. This place is beyond poorly managed, dated and we will never recommend. Sad really all our friends used to love this place

We booked this place for a 2 night stay to attend a friends wedding. Turns out the room had bugs, big brown bugs that were climbing the walls. We checked out after only one night and found a clean place to stay. The customer service was horrible; they did not apologize for the issue, they acknowledged the housekeeper found the bugs but were arguing whether or not they were cockroaches, they reluctantly refunded my stay and were ignorant and implied I was trying to get a free night stay. Most definitely never going back, not recommended.

Booked this place for our Board Meeting. Recently renovated and very well appointed in the lap of nature. I would say it is ideal for weddings and other social gatherings. The staff is very nice and try their best to make you comfortable. There were some issues with the reservations but it was sorted. The guest rooms are very spacious, my washroom was way bigger than the room (seems waste of space) but some may like it. Bar opening hours are very limited and the restaurant closes too early. Do check the thermostat in your room and washroom to make sure it is working properly.

My friend married at this place and I stayed here a few months ago and it was lovely. So I booked another stay although it is a bit out of the way.
When I arrived, I told the receptionist Denise and it was nice to see her again and how much I like this hotel.
As soon as I got into the room, I took a shower as I had a long day at work and then drove 4 hours. When I was about to go to bed, I noticed multiple pubical hair were on the bed sheet.
So I called Denise and told her what I saw and she said she only has a queen bed and all kings were sold out (mine was a king). While Denise was checking the available room, I packed my stuff and came back to the front desk. By that time, Denise told me she has no janitor to clean the room, and she has no clean room, but she can give me a new set of sheet. I asked for a refund and she refused and I had to reach out to Expedia and they told her refund is fine. All she asked on the phone with Expedia was if she will take a loss and she did not care about my situation. She was also making faces with another staff.
It is a pretty place but also very gross. I never had an experience where after I told the hotel staff I saw pubical hair in my bed, I was asked, ‘how bad was it’. After I showed Denise the pictures, she said these hairs might be fibres attached to the sheet when the sheets were being washed… luckily I have taken some pictures

Nothing special to be fair. The walls were suuuper thin so you could hear everyone in the hallway as if they were right next to you. The coffee mugs and glasses were dirty, we found someone else’s sock on the ac. The room itself was quaint and cute, but the bathroom door didn’t completely close. We did like that there wasn’t too many people.
