Having worked with Hilton Management and steeped into its culture of Guest Promise, I have a special affinity for this company’s brands.
I was also privileged to stay at some of its fine luxury hotels in the Middle East including at the Ramses in Cairo and the Nile Cruise, and in the Far East, Europe, my favourite city London, where I stayed at the Edgware Road property thrice a year for nearly 7 years.
Not to brag, but as an HHonors Gold Carder, I know the brand quite well.
We chose the Hilton Garden Inn on Traders Boulevard, Mississauga when we were moving from Niagara Falls to a Condo near the Square One. As a product it is great - contemporary design, visually fresh and albeit in a 3 star format, Garden Inn delivers and is a 10 on 10.
The hotel opened 10 years ago when I was working briefly in the area for a ‘Patel Motel’ going nowhere.
Sadly though, franchisees severely restrict manpower using very few people who have to do multiple tasks from a contact hub within.
Despite this reality, Ruchit and Gilbert, from the front desk offered positive support and a personal touch. The housekeeping staff by and large, despite the challenges of social remoteness was good.
Our 3 night stay got extended to 6. I would have been happier with my stay, if the same rate was extended to me throughout, but that didn’t happen. At checkout, when I queried, why I was charged more on the weekend, I was told the ‘demand was more, so the increase’
I am like ‘really?! ‘;
It’s isn’t like the hotel demand is heaving as we speak. As a hotelier, I could understand the small premium if I was only a weekender. But making me pay the extra after my 4 day continuous stay before the weekend was a tad mercenary. That too when service is limited due Covid?
I didn’t have that even in London where I paid over 250 quid a night, but at that time my company was paying for me to ‘keep appearances’.
Regardless, in the Highway 403 Hurontario hub, you will do well to stay at the Hilton Garden Inn on Traders Boulevard. It’s clean, safe and has a decent business centre, to aid your upward mobility.

Upon my arrival at the hotel for check-in, I was warmly greeted by Mr. Kyle, which immediately set a positive tone for my stay. The front desk staff members displayed remarkable levels of accommodation, and the manager, Ms. Irene, consistently ensured the enjoyment of all guests.

Upon entering my room, I was pleasantly surprised. It was very clean, and a fresh, appealing fragrance filled the atmosphere, complemented by a breathtaking view from the window. The room itself was perfect for my needs—immaculately clean, with a supremely comfortable bed and generously sized, plush pillows. The friendly housekeeping staff demonstrated diligence in ensuring the room was maintained to the highest standards. There was also a full iron board and iron in the room.

I found each and every member of the hotel staff to be exceptionally courteous, consistently going above and beyond to ensure guest comfort and satisfaction. The hotel’s convenient location allows for exploration of nearby attractions, such as the Highland Farm Store, just a brief 3-5 minute walk away. Additionally, the hotel offers a pool and gym, as well as a laundry room conveniently located on the ground floor. The overall ambiance of the hotel is tranquil, occasionally so serene that I found myself strolling the property, often under the impression that I was the sole guest.
The excellent culinary offerings served at the hotel are consistently fresh and served piping hot.

"There is ample parking, and the landscaping is beautiful. Overall, this is an ideal place to stay for any occasion.

While I may not recall all of the staff names, I would like to specifically mention Sylvia. She used to be the first person I encountered in the morning. She greeted me with a warm smile and a pleasant salutation. She collaborates seamlessly with her colleagues, and they collectively strive towards a common goal: ensuring the satisfaction of the guests."

Based on my experience, I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel for your accommodation needs.

"Thank you for contributing to a wonderful experience during my stay."

S. Burrows

This was a great Hilton Garden Inn and very convenient to the airport. The staff was so damn friendly that I would definitely stay back here again the next time I'm in town. I can't begin to tell you how friendly they were.

1) I was joking with the front desk staff about my wife and girlfriend (yes it was just a joke), but we had so much fun laughing.
2) The bar actually opened up a bit early for me to grab a glass of wine while I was finishing up work!
3) The chef for the breakfast buffet asked me if I wanted Thai Peppers in my omelet. They were incredible.

I honestly could not say more about our stay at this hotel. This Garden Inn really set the standards that others need to live up to.

Hey there ChrisB13880 it's ChrisA8675309, Thanks for making our Monday extra special! We always love hearing about our guests awesome experiences especially those who have so many women in their life:) Seriously, I'm glad you found our team to be most accommodating as we did for you we would do for any of our guests because we understand the traveling life isn't easy and when we're away from home we would just hope the bar could open a bit earlier or our breakfast be just different from the rest to make the experience...fun and accommodating. Be sure to bring your wife and girlfriend back through, we would love to meet them both and in the mean time we'll just stay damn friendly. It was a pleasure having you as our guest and thanks again for your kind words.

Froze our butts off for 45 minutes on March 3 evening waiting for the free shuttle that we were told runs every 20 minutes from YYZ. Phoned hotel three times and were told it was on its way. If it came by , we certainly could not identify it. Finally gave up and called a taxi as we were frozen and needed to stand outside. Didn't get any answers (or sense of concern) from front staff. Restaurant had sign saying it was closed but we found out it actully wasn't. Only a few minutes into stay we were really unimpressed.
We asked for a 5:30 wake up call for their shuttle back to YYZ. They called us at 4:30 AM! Just lovely 😡. We were upset and could not get back to sleep after that.
The room was fine.
We cancelled our stay on way back from our destination.
I contacted their customer service about our displeasure. Over the next 4 weeks and a number of frustrating and time consuming emails later they replied that because we booked through Expedia we would need to contact Expedia for assistance.
Actually, we didn't have to. In addition to cancelling our stay on the way back, we also just cancelled a future 5 day stay at a different location. If Hilton wants to have call centers mishandle their customer complaints, we will not be booking their rooms again or wasting time with their "customer service". I was honestly shocked at the cavalier way our concerns were mishandled.

Consider this place a sleeping room only. Carpet was old with ripples and stains all over. Asked staff to view and they told us all the room carpets were spotted so moving rooms won't help.

We were tired we decided to say and couldn't help but notice the sleeping pillows had an odder like they were never cleaned. We didn't use them as we just stayed one night.

We asked for a luggage rack for the room and they didn't have any.

The hotel was okay – we choose it because it’s right next to the highway. It’s hard for us to have a proper perspective on this hotel as we were not there very long. We arrived 6:35pm on Sunday evening and left at 7:30am. We did not use any of the amenities (e.g. pool, gym, etc.). We did get a complimentary upgrade to a king suite upon check-in. The room was what you would expect. The odd thing about the suite was that there was a lot of extra space but not anything in it like a coach or an extra chair. The mini frig and microwave were tucked into a teeny corner. Usually, they give us the complimentary member water and snacks at the check-in desk but instead the water was in the room and no snacks. There didn’t seem to be a lot of other hotel guests as there were less than 8 cars in the parking lot so we can’t comment on noise levels. This is probably one of the first Hiltons we’ve stayed at that there was no complimentary breakfast but the hotel was not very expensive. The breakfast buffet is C$12 and for an extra C$4 (or C$16) you can get fried eggs and bacon. We’ll probably look for an equivalent Hilton nearby that includes a breakfast next time.

The best thing to note was that it is a quick 7 minute car ride to Pho Ngoc Yen, one of the best Vietnamese restaurants in Toronto/Mississauga.

Dear AdventureKA, Thank you for taking time to provide your feedback. I wish you had more time to experience our hotel, it's amenities and specially our serivce! Please note that we are guided by the Hilton Garden Inn brand and we follow the brand standards. While Hilton has several brands under its umberella - different brands offer different things. Hilton Garden Inn as a brand does not include complimentary breakfast. That being said, we are priced acordingly and our fresh, hot, cooked to order breakfast is available for purchase for a very reasonable price. Once again, thank you for your comments and we hope to see you again in the future. Regards Ruchit K

Booked in here for a conference for convenience of location as the event was held in the hotel. However very disappointed in the 40 basic channels, severe delay on changing channels and archaic remote with no interface for any streaming platform. Unresponsive room service for even fresh towels, carpets are stained and dated in appearance. Washrooms don't have a fan for ventilation and smells permeate the groom from there. My last stay here was 2-3 years ago and I can't say a single amenity has been improved upon.

Basically this hotel makes for a bed to sleep in, entertainment and anything epse to keep you busy must be sought elsewhere.

I would have preferred to stay in a more “active” part of town where I could just go down for a walk but hotels in the other locations had bad reviews so I ended up here. At the end I’m glad I did! The hotel has a nice light cheerful environment and looks new. The room was spotless clean, with cleverly designed modern space, comfortable bed, pretty good climate control, lots of electric and USB outlets, pretty good lighting. My view was nice which was a surprise. Having a microwave and mini-fridge made everything easier. All the amenities are there including business center, swimming pool, small gym, etc. The front desk staff were super helpful, going out of their way to help with anything. I also love the spacious lobby with lots of types of places to sit, have meetings, hang out with friends, etc. You’ll need a car or Uber to go anywhere, but the location is central to all the important streets and highways so it was pretty quick to go anywhere. I didn’t try the restaurant, but maybe next time I’m in Mississauga I will, because I’d definitely pick this hotel again!

My family and I love the Garden Inn brand of Hilton. Every time we travel - we try to stay in a Garden Inn hotel as we love their rooms, their breakfast, their service and most importantly the availability of the restaurant on site so we don’t have to go out looking for a place to eat.

This Hilton Garden Inn in Mississauga is located just a couple of mins from the city’s main highway and offers excellent service. The staff genuinely cared and ensure that I had a great stay.

Both me and my wife were there to do business and we originally booked for 7 nights but we had to cut it short as the city was under lockdown. Richard the manager was very helpful and understanding and did not charge us any extra fees for checking out early. We also enjoyed our conversation with him. All other staff was also excellent.

We could not use the pool and the hot tub but that was not hotel’s fault as it was the government who ordered the lockdown of these facilities.

At our hotel we understand the importance of being flexible and we try our best to accommodate our guests whenever we can. I'm sorry that you were not able to enjoy the pool and the hot tub but as you rightly mentioned that it was the Government's decision to close all such facilities to curb the spread of the COVID-19. There were different rates for rooms depending on if breakfast was included or not.. If not the breakfast was at a very reasonable price. Also the chef will make the omelet the way you like. The breakfast was very good though with lots of selection . You serve yourself ( make your own waffle etc ) but a waitress will be there to serve you. She is very friendly.
